Hardback usually isn't available on release day, but should be available shortly afterwards. It usually takes about a month or so in my experience.

So I'm aiming for somewhere between Fall 2026-Fall 2027 for Book 2, The Woman Who Sang to Monsters, if all goes well. I'm looking at releasing a digital-only short story that bridges the two books together sometime in there too. In the meantime, be sure to pick up Night Feeders, the prequel to The Man Who Dealt in Death for a fun dip back into Colton's world. And be sure to join my mailing list to keep up with my upcoming releases. Thank you for reaching out!(less)

Happy Cover Reveal to The Sea Witch Follows

The book for The Sea Witch Follows by Marlena Frank lays on top of black wings with a tiny black crescent moon above. Beside it are two potion bottles, one that has a picture of a raven with flowers that says Raven’s claws. In the background are manuscript pages written in black ink but the words are illegible. The cover for The Sea Witch Follows is an image of a white and black lighthouse at night with a golden light emerging from the tower. Black swirls and blue lanterns surround it as it sits atop a rocky crag and sea water splashes around it.

I’ve been working on this book for over a year now and it’s so great to be able to not only share this gorgeous cover from JV Arts, but also to be able to finally talk about it!

With this book, I really tried to capture the gothic romanticism of lonely lighthouses, but also explore the beginnings of a cute romance. Not to mention the terrifying sea witch that lurks on the shore. This is a fun m

Marlena Frank So I bought myself a Nook Color last weekend. I have a feeling this is going to greatly increase my reading output this year. How cool is it to have your books at your fingertips, and always the right size for my purse? ;)

So far I'm loving the free book Fridays, the sudoku, the crossword, and how easy Calibre is able to transfer Project Gutenberg books over. And once our library system starts offering more eBooks, I'll be able to read those easily on it as well!

Marlena Frank I'm loving it more and more. Plan to move my stuff over from Visual Bookshelf once their site's back up again. =)

Lena
