Marlena Frank has always been fascinated by monsters, and now gets to write about them. She is the author of young adult fantasy and horror standalone novels, short stories, novellas, and series. Many of her books have hit the Amazon bestseller charts, including her debut novel, Stolen, and her latest release, The Impostor and Other Dark Tales. In 2022, she will be kicking off her young adult dark fantasy series The Wolves of Kanta featuring werewolves, steampunk, and mad scientists. Audible has been a big help with this, since it turns my commute into much-needed reading time. I've also checked out some excellent horror like Josh Malerman's Bird Box, which was on my to-read list ever since I heard it mentioned on The Outer Dark podcast. I'll probably swing back toward more cheerful fantasy at some point, but right now I'm reveling in dark fiction.(less)

Marlena Frank So I bought myself a Nook Color last weekend. I have a feeling this is going to greatly increase my reading output this year. How cool is it to have your books at your fingertips, and always the right size for my purse? ;)

So far I'm loving the free book Fridays, the sudoku, the crossword, and how easy Calibre is able to transfer Project Gutenberg books over. And once our library system starts offering more eBooks, I'll be able to read those easily on it as well!

Marlena Frank I'm loving it more and more. Plan to move my stuff over from Visual Bookshelf once their site's back up again. =)

Lena
