Alice Cooper’s Ozzy Osbourne Tribute Took a Wild Turn When Johnny Depp Walked Onstage
Alice Cooper didn’t let the passing of Ozzy Osbourne go unrecognized. During a sold-out concert at London’s O2 Arena on July 25, Cooper, donning an Osbourne T-shirt, led a powerful tribute to the late rock legend just days after his death was announced. But midway through the band’s thunderous cover of Black Sabbath’s "Paranoid," the crowd roared as a familiar face joined the celebration: Johnny Depp, according to a People report.
The 62-year-old actor and guitarist casually strolled onstage with a guitar in hand, linking up with Cooper for the second half of the song. Together, they tore through the Sabbath classic with all the dark energy and swagger the moment demanded.
From Hollywood to Heavy MetalDepp isn’t a stranger to Cooper’s stage. The two have played together for over a decade in the rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires, alongside Aerosmith’s Joe Perry and guitarist Tommy Henriksen. Still, the surprise reunion caught fans off guard and gave the Osbourne tribute an emotional boost that fans won’t soon forget.
Cooper closed the song with a fist raised high, saluting Ozzy to thunderous applause. “Everybody, let's say goodnight to Ozzy,” he told the crowd, who erupted into chants of “Ozzy! Ozzy!”

One Last Song, One Last SaluteDepp stuck around for one more number, joining original Alice Cooper bandmates Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce for a raucous rendition of "School’s Out," adding a final exclamation point to a night full of nostalgia, emotion, and pure rock energy.
Speaking earlier that day on Planet Rock, Cooper reflected on Ozzy’s legacy. “He was a very beloved character in rock,” he said. “Even though you know it's coming... what a shock to the system.”
As tributes pour in from across the music world, Cooper’s message rang clear: Ozzy may be gone, but his spirit will keep storming stages and shaking speakers for years to come.

Possibly Hostile 'Alien' Object Could Arrive in November 2025, Wild Research Paper Says
A team of researchers has presented the wild theory that an interstellar object might be hostile "alien technology" that could reach Earth in Fall 2025.
The findings were reported by the New York Post, which wrote that the "inflammatory paper" was published on July 16 on the preprint server arXiv.
According to Live Science, the paper is controversial, was not peer-reviewed, and experts think its claims are "nonsense," however.
That site says that other scientists believe the object is natural.
3I/ATLAS was discovered on July 1 "barreling toward the sun at more than 130,000 mph (210,000 km/h)," and is a confirmed "interstellar object," according to Live Science, but "initial observations strongly suggest" it's a large comet "surrounded by a cloud of ice, gas and dust called a coma," the site reported.
The paper in question is titled, "Is the Interstellar Object 3I/ATLAS Alien Technology?" It was written by Adam Hibberd, Adam Crowl, and Abraham Loeb.
According to Live Science, Loeb is a Harvard University astronomer who is "renowned for linking extraterrestrial objects to intelligent aliens."
"At this early stage of its passage through our Solar System, 3I/ATLAS, the recently discovered interstellar interloper, has displayed various anomalous characteristics, determined from photometric and astrometric observations," the research trio wrote.
"As largely a pedagogical exercise, in this paper we present additional analysis into the astrodynamics of 3I/ATLAS, and hypothesize that this object could be technological, and possibly hostile as would be expected from the 'Dark Forest' resolution to the 'Fermi Paradox'. We show that 3I/ATLAS approaches surprisingly close to Venus, Mars and Jupiter..." the paper continued.
"Furthermore the low retrograde tilt of 3I/ATLAS's orbital plane to the ecliptic offers various benefits to an Extra-terrestrial Intelligence (ETI), since it allows the object access to our planet with relative impunity," they added. "The eclipse by the Sun from Earth of 3I/ATLAS at perihelion, would allow it to conduct a clandestine reverse Solar Oberth Manoeuvre, an optimal high-thrust strategy for interstellar spacecraft to brake and stay bound to the Sun."
The researchers noted: "An optimal intercept of Earth would entail an arrival in late November/early December of 2025."
Loeb wrote a blog post on the findings. "Today I co-authored an intriguing new paper with the brilliant collaborators Adam Hibberd and Adam Crowl from the Initiative for Interstellar Studies in London, UK," he wrote. "This new interstellar interloper has displayed a number of anomalous characteristics."
Walmart Mass Stabbing Reports Emerge in Traverse City, Michigan

A Walmart spokesperson told Newsday that the company was “working with police and defer questions to them right now.”
Daily Mail reported that "shoppers fled for their lives after a suspect brandished a knife" inside the Walmart, citing witnesses. One person claimed the attack "occurred near the pharmacy counter with many of the victims said to be elderly," Daily Mail reported, but this was not confirmed by authorities, who have provided few details.
The mass stabbing reports come after an employee at a Walmart was accused in a separate incident of stabbing a co-worker behind the deli because he believed she disrespected him. The victim survived but required "multiple surgeries," according to KSDK-TV.

Astronomer Drops New Video Featuring Chris Martin's Ex-Wife After ColdplayGate — And It's Going Viral
July 17, 2025, will be known as ColdplayGate.
On that day, a video surfaced of now-former Astronmer CEO Andy Byron and his co-worker Kristin Cabot being caught on the Kiss Cam at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts.
Their reaction seemingly gave everything away, and the following days were filled with reactions from all around the internet.
That ended up leading both Cabot and Byron to resign from the company.
Now, on Friday night, Astronomer dropped a new advertisement. However, in an interesting wrinkle, the spokesperson was Gwyneth Paltrow, the famous actor and ex-wife of Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin.
"Thank you for your interest in Astronomer," Paltrow said to begin the video. "I've been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300+ employees at Astronomer. Astronomer's gotten a lot of questions over the last few days and they wanted me to answer the most common ones."
Thank you for your interest in Astronomer. pic.twitter.com/WtxEegbAMY
— Astronomer (@astronomerio) July 25, 2025
The questions Paltrow answered weren't the ones being typed on the screen, which makes the video even more perfect from Astronomer.
As of Friday night, the video had registered over 2.5 million views in just four hours, so it's making waves across the internet.
Martin was leading the Kiss Cam efforts during the show when Byron and Cabot were put on it. After, Martin said, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy," followed by "Holy (expletive). I hope we didn’t do something bad."
The fallout from the video has been endless, with companies such as Chipotle and Netflix joining in on the fun with some responses.
Paltrow and Martin officially split in 2014, so it has been over a decade. They got married in 2003, and the divorce was finalized in 2015.
But, nobody saw Astronomer hiring Paltrow to answer questions about the company (and not the situation).

Dyson's customer base is massive, and for good reason, too—the brand's vacuum cleaners are some of the most performant on the market. They also come with a reputation for being pricey, but if you time it right, you can sometimes find a deal at Walmart. Now is one of those times, as this ever-popular V8 stick vacuum is over 30% off, but it's selling fast.
The Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is on sale for just $320 at Walmart, a 32% discount on its normal price of $470, and it's bundled with tons of attachments. This easily maneuverable cleaner is a pet owner’s best friend, thanks to its powerful suction and lightweight design. It has over 5,500 five-star ratings from Walmart shoppers who say it's a “game changer” with “great suction and ease of movement," and it even comes with free shipping.

The V8 features a boost in power (115 air watts vs. the less powerful V7s 110 air watts), and it comes with all the extra accessories—nine in total—including a mini soft dusting brush, extension hose, crevice tool, and even a mattress tool, among others. Its iconic, cordless, and lightweight (at only 5.6 pounds) design remains as powerful as ever, with a battery capable of running up to 40 minutes consecutively. The smart tech Motorbar is Dyson’s detangling cleaner head that deep cleans all surfaces, eliminating the worry of hair and debris clogging the bristles. The whole-machine HEPA filtration system can trap up to 99.99% of all debris, as small as 0.3 microns. Unlike vacuum cleaners of old, the smart tech in this Dyson allows you to seamlessly go from carpet to tiles to hardwoods. You can choose between two cleaning modes, too—one to conserve power and battery, and the other to remove the deepest and toughest messes from your carpets.
“A thoughtful piece of engineering and a joy to use,” said a buyer. “We could not be happier with how light, versatile, and effective the Dyson V8 is…minor engineering details are evident everywhere, including how easy it is to dump the canister, how easy it is to plug it into the charging station, and how easy it is to switch attachments. The V8 is so light and maneuverable, we don't hesitate to bring it out even for little quick pick-ups. Even at low power, it has amazingly good suction.”
“Powerful and impressive,” said another. “I have been part of the Dyson family since 2005…I just upgraded to the V8, and the power is super impressive.” A third shopper even said it’s “light-years ahead of the competition,” admitting, “I should have bought one years ago. Amazing technology, and every aspect of design is well thought out.”
At just over $300, the Dyson V8 Extra Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a relatively affordable way to take your whole-home cleaning to the next level. Grab your unit today, before this price disappears.

Sam’s Club has the deals this weekend, and not just on groceries. Their doorbusters ad has everything from a highly-rated nugget ice maker to a 14-piece FoodSaver kit to a double basket air fryer and more. The sales don’t seem to stop, and were finding ourselves *adding to cart* over and over again.

Fans love the 248 can capacity and cold staying power, stating that it’s “great for doing trips to the lake or having on vacation. [We] took about 4 big bags of ice plus all the things we packed into it. Everything stays very cold once packed inside for long hours of trips”.

According to the manufacturer, this cooler has a “thermecool insulated body and lid for optimal temperature retention” with swing-up handles for easy gripping. The lid has integrated cup holders and a drain plug on the bottom for seamless draining. “Great cooler! Walmart Is Selling a $90 Rangefinder for $30 Right Now, and Both Golfers and Hunters Say It's Very 'Accurate'
Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Even the perfect golf swing is useless if the golfer doesn’t know how far away the hole is. That’s why golfers have been using rangefinders for years to take the guesswork out of the equation. The good news is that what was once considered a luxury can now be considered a basic piece of gear—this bestseller at Walmart is selling for just $30.
The Segmart Laser Golf Rangefinder is 67% off its usual $90 price, meaning this deal will save you $60. Plus, it doubles as an aid for hunters and birders. As a result of this great flexibility, the rangefinder has received over 650 five-star ratings. This is a Walmart Flash Deal on a bestselling rangefinder, so while it may not sell out, it will certainly lose the Flash Deal pricing soon.
Segmart Laser Golf Rangefinder, $30 (was $90) at Walmart
Segmart’s rangefinder does everything you’d want a rangefinder to do, and then some. It provides 7X magnification, accurate readings up to 900 yards, has a pin lock-on feature, magnetically attaches to your cart, and has a tournament-legal slope switch. Uniquely, it also works quite well for hunting, which some rangefinders struggle with due to the wooded areas hunters typically operate in.
“It fits comfortably in the hand, is lightweight and compact, and doesn't take up much space in the bag," one golfer said. "The screen is clear, and the controls are simple—even a beginner can figure it out. A great tool for improving shot accuracy.”
Related: Ping's 'Superior' Driver That Makes Shots 'Just Go Straight' Is $150 Off Right Now
Another shopper recounted being “chastized” by their brother after it was assumed this was a much more expensive rangefinder. “He said that the image isn't only larger and clearer, but also more accurate. He also marveled that they haven't charged it yet (plays 2-3 times a week) and it's still going strong. So, he's now joking that he's going to be more careful with this than he was with the expensive one, because it's so much better. He said, ‘I definitely don't want to lose this one.’”
This rangefinder at just $30 is an incredible deal, considering that it can often be hard to find a good one under $100. Get yours before this Walmart Flash Deal ends.
