Joe Rogan Announces 'Adorable' New Addition to His Family
Joe Rogan and his family have welcomed an adorable new addition to their crew in Austin, Texas.
The popular podcast host and MMA analyst, who was recently snubbed from TIME's top 100 podcasts of all-time list, doesn't seem to be letting the slight get to him. Rogan, 57, has continued to host his show, which consistently ranks among the most-listened to podcasts on the charts. He's also recently welcomed an adorable new addition to his family.
Rogan, who lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, Jessica, and their three children, took to his Instagram page on Monday, July 28 to share the fun family news.

Rogan and his wife, Jessica, have added a new dog to their crew. Rogan has long been the proud dog dad to a golden retriever named Marshall (who has his own Instagram account). The Rogans are now parents to two dogs, as they've added a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Charlie Lou.
The popular podcast host announced that Charlie Lou is Marshall's new "best friend."
"This impossibly cute fella is @marshallmaerogan’s new best friend. Meet @charlielourogan," he announced to his 19.9 million followers on Instagram.

The new puppy already has its own Instagram account, with an impressive 21.9 thousand followers. The account states that its the "baby bro" to Marshall Rogan.
"The cutest Cavalier King Charles Spaniel around," the account states.
There's already been three photos and one video shared.

Charlie has a long way to go before matching his big brother's social media presence, though.
Marshall has close to one million followers on Instagram. That account has posted more than 440 times. Rogan himself is often featured in some of the posts.

Rogan is surely in love with his new dog, but he's previously spoken out about why golden retrievers are the best dog breed of all-time - and it's not close.
"Golden retrievers are literally the best dogs of all-time," Rogan previously said on his podcast.
"They're so different than any other dog. They're like people. They're just so tuned in."
Rogan says he can say a ton of different things to his dog and he always knows specifically what he's talking about.
"There's all these different things that I can say to that dog where he knows exactly what I'm talking about. But it's not like, 'sit' or 'give me your paw.' It's 'hey man, you wanna watch TV?' And he just goes running with me into the TV room. And he hops up onto the couch with me and cuddles with me. Amazing."
Rogan says there's nothing better.
"He's just like a love sponge."

Rogan is a busy man, hosting his podcast multiple times per week while also covering the UFC for ESPN, but he still manages to spend a ton of time with his now-multiple dogs.
Clearly, that's just how the popular podcast host would like it, too.
Shane Tamura Is the Manhattan Active Shooter Suspect: Reports
Shane Tamura was identified as the Manhattan active shooter suspect.
That's according to the New York Post, which cited law enforcement sources. Authorities have not yet formally named the gunman, who was pictured in a widely published photo toting a rifle and calmly walking down the sidewalk wearing a suit and tie.
CNN named the suspect as Shane Devon Tamura.
According to CNN, he was a youth football player who once lived in Hawaii (before moving to Las Vegas) and who had an expired private investigator's license. He worked security for a Las Vegas casino, the Post reported.
According to the Post, the gunman shot and killed a New York police officer and at least four other people in a high-end Manhattan skyscraper that houses the offices of the National Football League and a company called Blackstone. The suspect shot two officers, according to Fox News. The slain officer was identified as married father Didarul Islam by the Post.
The suspect opened fire in the lobby of a company called Blackstone inside the skyscraper along the legendary Park Avenue on July 28. A second photo quickly emerged of Tamura. He then went to a different floor and shot people before killing himself on the 33rd floor, Fox reported.

He is from Las Vegas, according to CNN. Public records reviewed by Men's Journal show Tamura with previous addresses in Henderson, NV, and Canyon Country, CA. Instagram and Facebook pages in the same name could not be immediately verified as his, but did not contain any publicly visible incendiary or political posts.

The gunman did not have a "significant" criminal record, CNN reported, and the motive is not yet clear. NYPD added, "Due to police activity, please avoid the vicinity of East 52 Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue. Expect emergency vehicles & delays in the surrounding area."
"The NYPD are now searching 345 Park Avenue carefully. If you are in the building, please stay where you are," New York Mayor Eric Adams wrote on X.

Manhattan Active Shooter Suspect Seen in Chilling Photo Near NFL Headquarters
A chilling photo has emerged of a man police believe was the Manhattan active shooter walking calmly down the street in a suit and tie, carrying a large rifle.
A New York police officer was shot in the back and killed on July 28 after the active shooter opened fire in Manhattan, according to CNN, which cited a law enforcement source.
The New York Post has identified the suspect as Shane Tamura, 27, citing law enforcement sources. The police officer and four other people were shot and killed, the Post reported. Additional people were also injured, and Pix 11 reported that the shooting unfolded in the lobby of the Blackstone company along iconic Park Avenue. The officer was off duty when shot, per the Post. Blackstone is a major alternative asset manager.
The shooter shot three people at a "midtown Manhattan skyscraper," CNN reported. That skyscraper, according to CNN "includes corporate offices for the National Football League and Blackstone." CNN reported that the photo, believed to be of the gunman, was released by law enforcement sources, not NYPD officially.
Before the shooter died, law enforcement officials told NBC News that the photo was of "a person New York police are looking for possibly in connection with the active shooter incident at 345 Park Ave."

At Home Changes Its Mind on Closing Two Stores After Bankruptcy
Over the years, At Home has become one of the most beloved furniture and home decor retailers in the country. After falling into tough financial times for the past several months, the retailer was forced to file for bankruptcy and close several stores. However, some stores previously expected to close will actually remain open.
Last month, At Home Group officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy as a result of "broader economic and retail-specific market pressures," court documents read.
According to court filings, At Home cited rising interest rates, "persistent inflation," and a growing concern over unsustainable customs costs resulting from increased tariffs in the decision to file for bankruptcy.
"Given the expenses associated with brick-and-mortar operation and the issues affecting the retail industry, a number of the (At Home) remaining stores are operating at sub-optimal performance levels," court documents revealed.
Initially, At Home Group planned to close 26 of its "underperforming" stores across the country after the bankruptcy filing. However, despite that initial determination, the company has now decided to keep two of those stores open, according to USA Today.
Despite the bankruptcy filing, At Home has decided not to close two stores previously slated to be closed: the store at 3201 N. Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and the store at 301 Nassau Park Boulevard in Princeton, New Jersey.
However, as USA Today reports, At Home is still set to close 24 other stores by Sept. 30 of this year.
Here is the full list of expected closures, via USA Today:

Target Officially Ends Price-Matching Policy
For years, Target has offered a customer-friendly policy, offering to price match with other retailers like Walmart or Amazon. However, that policy is officially over.
Previously, Target shoppers could request price matches for identical qualifying products sold by competitors like Amazon and Walmart, either at the time of purchase or up to 14 days later.
However, that customer-forward policy has officially come to an end.
As first reported by Retail Dive, Target has discontinued its competitor price matching effective today, July 28. Under the new policy, Target will only price match other Target locations or Target.com.
In a statement to Retail Dive, a Target spokesperson noted that customers “overwhelmingly price match Target and not other retailers.”
“We’re always working to deliver consumers outstanding value and give them confidence to choose Target, with our everyday low prices, affordable and quality-focused owned brands, incredible deals, free-to-join membership program, Target Circle, and more,” the spokesperson told Retail Dive.
It's worth noting that this shift aligns with the practices of Target’s competitors.
As Retail Dive points out, Walmart discontinued its Savings Catcher in-store price-matching program in 2019 and does not match competitors’ online or in-store prices. Similarly, Amazon does not offer direct price matching with competitors.
While this decision mirrors the strategies of Target’s rivals, it’s undoubtedly a letdown for shoppers who relied on the policy to ensure they were getting the best deal at Target.
This change is part of Target’s broader strategy to boost sales and profitability, as the retailer has faced declines in both sales and store visits in recent months. It remains to be seen how this policy shift will affect Target’s performance going forward.
Official Rotten Tomatoes Score For 'Fantastic Four' After Opening Weekend
Marvel Studios released its latest blockbuster this weekend with The Fantastic Four: First Steps officially hitting theaters. The film put up some impressive opening weekend box office numbers, even topping Superman, which debuted earlier this month. The Fantastic Four is getting some impressive reviews, too.
After the first weekend, The Fantastic Four got some pretty favorable ratings on Rotten Tomatoes from both critics and the general audience.
From the critics, The Fantastic Four: Final Steps received an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes after more than 300 reviews, earning it a "Certified Fresh" official rating on the "Tomatometer" from the popular movie rating website.
"Benefitting from rock-solid cast chemistry and clad in appealingly retro 1960s design, this crack at The Fantastic Four does Marvel's First Family justice," Rotten Tomatoes wrote of the critics consensus on the film.

While the critical reception to the latest Marvel blockbuster was resoundingly positive, the general audience seems to have enjoy the film even more than the critics.
After more than 25,000 reviews from average movie-goers, The Fantastic Four received a score of 93% after the opening weekend, earning it an official rating of "Certified Hot" on the Rotten Tomatoes "Popcornmeter."
"The Fantastic Four takes the world by Storm, Thing, Reed, Johnny and baby, forging a new path for this bespoke family that, with these First Steps, leaps into cosmic action with retro-futuristic verve," Rotten Tomatoes wrote of the general audience reception to the film.
The overwhelmingly positive reception to the film from both critics and the general audience lines up well with our review here at Men's Journal with our Ryan Britt glowingly calling The Fantastic Four: First Steps "easily one of the best superhero movies of all time."
While it briefly looked like Superman was set to be the superhero movie of the summer, it looks like The Fantastic Four is challenging for that throne.
McDonald's Brings Back the Snack Wrap. Why Was it Ever Discontinued?
Earlier this month, McDonald's officially brought back the fan-favorite Snack Wrap and it has been an instant hit, with a surge in demand greater than the fast food giant could have possibly predicted. The demand for the item has been so strong that it begs the question why McDonald's ever removed the item from the menu in the first place.
When the Snack Wrap hit the McDonald's menu on July 10, it was so popular amongst customers that it actually led to a brief lettuce shortage at some of the McDonald's restaurants throughout the country, forcing the company to make some quick adaptations in its supply chain.
“The launch of our Snack Wrap has been met with incredible excitement from our customers,” Tyler Gamble, a McDonald’s operator and chair of the National Supply Leadership Council, said in a statement earlier this month. “From day one, in the face of overwhelming success and traffic into our restaurants, I’ve seen all three legs of the stool—suppliers, employees and franchisees—work together quickly to plan and adapt.
“This close collaboration has enabled us to be nimble with our supply and keep up with that customer demand. What we’ve experienced was an awesome problem to have.”
Clearly, the product is an absolute hit with customers, which makes it all the more puzzling that it was ever removed from the menu nine years ago. However, there were some very valid reasons.
As Bloomberg reported at the time, a big reason why the Snack Wrap was removed from the menu was because it was "time consuming" and a "headache" for employees to put together in a McDonald’s kitchen. That became especially true as demand depleted.
McDonald’s initially marketed Snack Wraps as a healthier snack option compared to its heavier and greasier fast food options. However, that did not seem to appeal to customers as much in the middle of the 2010s as it does today. That was especially true amongst millennials, who was McDonald's target market at the time, as the Snack Wrap did not sell well to younger people back then.
Obviously, times have changed and consumers were ready for the Snack Wrap to return. Given the excitement, there's a chance it will stick around the menu a bit longer this time.
Travis Kelce Sparks Outrage After Major Change in Appearance
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce arrived at training camp with some rather long and flowing locks on his head. However, just a few days in, it looks like he has decided to go with a much shorter look.
On Sunday afternoon, Kelce arrived at Chiefs practice rocking a much shorter fade with his previously long hair all buzzed off.
The Chiefs, clearly knowing their audience is now filled with Swifties who very much care about the appearance and hairstyle of Taylor Swift's boyfriend, shared a photo of Kelce's new look on social media.
"Fresh cut Trav," the Chiefs' official account wrote in a post on X.
Fresh cut Trav 😮💨 @tkelce pic.twitter.com/ybG7PWJwkH
— Kansas City Chiefs (@Chiefs) July 27, 2025
Needless to say, the major change in his appearance clearly turned a lot of heads on social media as fans offered their reactions – or in most cases, outrage.
"His beautiful hair is gone," one Travis Kelce fanpage wrote in a post on X.
"Noooooo, loved his long hair. But it's his hair, whatever he wants. It just looked so princely," someone else added.
"I’m already having a bad day and now THIS," another fan wrote.
"This is a travesty honestly," someone else said.
It's worth noting that Kelce often shaves his head like this during the season, especially given the high temperatures during preseason practice and during the early season. Plus, the short hair is likely much more comfortable under his helmet. Obviously, that
This is not the only significant change from Kelce heading into training camp as he is also noticeably slimmer than he was at this point last season after making a point to prioritize his fitness this offseason.
"I am down some weight from the end of the season last year," Kelce said during a press conference last month.
"This year, I got some time to work on some form running and some things early on in the offseason that I just didn't have time for last year," Kelce said. "I'm certainly feeling good, and hopefully it'll pay off."
We'll have to see how Kelce performs in what could be the final season of his career.
Southwest Airlines Has Long Refused to Fly to Canada
Southwest Airlines is one of the largest and most recognizable airlines in the United States, competing with Delta, United, and American in a number of key metrics. However, there is one somewhat surprising way Southwest has never even tried to compete with the other three major airlines.
While Southwest Airlines offers flights to more than 100 destinations across the United States – including Hawaii – as well as international locations like Aruba, Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Mexico, there is one surprising location that Southwest does not service: Canada.
While American, Delta, United, JetBlue, and Alaska all fly to Canada, Southwest Airlines has long resisted adding flights to any Canadian city. It's a somewhat surprising move for an airline of its size and notoriety, but there are reasons for the decision.
As Aaron Bailey of Simple Flying points out, flights to Canada are known for being expensive due in part to high airport taxes, which could play into Southwest's decision to stay away, given that it has long been more of a budget airline compared to many of its competitors.
However, there are other reasons for the decision, as Bailey explains, including Southwest's unique business model.
While most major carriers use a hub-and-spoke model for their flights, which connects locations through central hubs, Southwest Airlines uses a point-to-point system, connecting many locations directly. Canadian destinations might not make sense in this model, especially given the cost.
Other reasons, as Bailey explains, are Southwest Airlines' lack of ground partners in Canada and its inability to accept foreign currencies like the Canadian dollar.
Southwest has been making some rather significant changes lately as the airline looks to rebrand and establish a new identity, so there's always a chance that the airline decides to add flights to Canada at some point in the future.
However, for the past several decades, it has flatly refused to move in that direction.
Mexico Issues Travel Warning After Tourists Detained and Jailed in Florida Without Trial
A Mexican diplomat has issued a rare travel warning urging citizens to avoid Florida, citing the recent arrest and ongoing detention of two Mexican tourists who have yet to receive a fair hearing.
Juan Sabines, Mexico’s consul in Orlando, told Talking Points Memo that visitors “should take extreme precautions or not come to Florida” following the high-profile case of brothers Carlos and Óscar González, both of whom were detained after a routine traffic stop earlier this month.
Traffic Stop Sparks International IncidentCarlos, 26, was pulled over for having tinted windows and was unable to present vehicle registration. Though he held a valid U.S. tourist visa, he was arrested on the spot. His brother Óscar, 30, arrived shortly after to provide documentation and was detained as well, despite being married to a U.S. citizen.
The brothers were transferred to a migrant detention facility known as Alligator Alcatraz, located deep in the Florida Everglades, the Daily Mail reported. Since then, their lawyer has reportedly been denied access, and the two men remain in custody with no clear path to resolution.
Harsh Conditions Reported at Alligator AlcatrazThe detention center, surrounded by wetlands, alligators, and pythons, has faced mounting criticism. Detainees have described harsh conditions, including 24-hour lighting, limited access to showers, overcrowding, and mosquito infestations. Some allege they’ve gone days without proper hygiene or fresh air.
An Argentine migrant described the experience as “disorienting,” while others likened the environment to a psychological pressure cooker. Despite these reports, Florida officials have pushed back, calling the allegations “completely false.”
Diplomatic Pressure MountsMexico’s government is now demanding the immediate release of all Mexican nationals being held at the facility. President Claudia Sheinbaum has publicly called for deportation over continued detention, stating the consulate is evaluating whether the conditions violate human rights.
“This is not the right way to do things,” Sabines said. “These men want to return to Mexico, but they won’t let them.”
As diplomatic tensions rise, so do concerns that other travelers may face similar fates. For now, Mexico’s message is clear: entering Florida could mean risking your freedom.
