Walmart Is Selling an 'Amazing' $150 Gaming Desk for Just $59, and Shoppers Say It’s 'a Great Buy'

Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services.  If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

If you’re a gamer, your desk is your fortress. The right desk can deliver a serious boost of comfort and functionality, while a subpar surface will leave you wishing for more. A quality desk is also durably built to last through years of gaming, while shoddier models can begin showing wear and wobble far too soon.

With that in mind, check out the GTRacing 55-Inch RGB Gaming Desk, which is on sale at Walmart now for a whopping 61% off, dropping the price from $150 to just $59.

This “great” gaming desk boasts an expansive 55-by-24-inch wide, slip-proof textured surface that offers plenty of space for a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and all your gaming gear. The desk is made of durable material that is covered with a waterproof, easy-to-clean coating, and the frame is as “sturdy” as it is straightforward to assemble. Double-threading holes provide cable passthrough access, headphone hooks, and a wide mouse pad are included, and a color-changing light system can be controlled via wireless remote.

Reviewers say this “amazing” desk is a “great buy,” saying it’s “really good quality,” and “super easy to assemble,” calling it the “best gaming desk ever.”

“The size is great and the quality is even better,” said one reviewer.

“This desk is amazing!” another reviewer declared. “It was so nice that I had to ask my wife if she was sure it was the right one and at the correct price because it's a steal of a deal. Not only was it easy to assemble (it took less than 30 minutes), but the build quality is also heavy and feels premium. Additionally, once you're done constructing the desk, it comes with a nice giant mouse pad and very vibrant LED light strips that are controlled with a remote with multiple options."

Care instructions are relatively simple, calling for an inside-out cold wash on a gentle cycle (without bleach), and laying flat to dry.

The versatility you get from this shirt is impressive, with shoppers saying it’s “Great for any event. I highly recommend this shirt for leisure activities or otherwise,” and has the “Perfect fit, unbuttoned over a T-shirt or buttoned up for a more dressy look. Fabric is soft and comfortable.”

'Osbournes' Producer on How Ozzy Osbourne Shaped Reality TV

The Osbournes producer Van Toffler spoke to Variety after the death of Ozzy Osbourne, praising the late metal musician and his family for beginning the reality TV boom as we know it.

How did Ozzy Osbourne die?

Osbourne’s death at 76 was announced by his family in a July 22 statement. No cause of death has been announced. “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the statement read. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family's privacy at this time.”

What did The Osbournes producer say about Ozzy Osbourne?

In an interview with Variety hours after Osbourne’s death was announced, Toffler gave his sympathies to Osbourne’s widow, Sharon, and their two children, Jack and Kelly. He also credited the unconventional family for paving the way for the forthcoming reality TV boom with their early-aughts series The Osbournes. The show, which premiered in 2001 on MTV, was an instant hit largely due to the metal rocker’s profane, lovably confused persona.

“It was so wrong, but unlike anything else that was on TV,” Toffler said. “First of all, that family—with the king of metal featured, and all the things he was allegedly accused of doing—but also the language! We had to bleep so much of the dialogue. That became such an integral part of it, the way we bleeped it, how often we bleeped it, and we weren’t making it up.”

As soon as the show premiered, “it was a ginormous global hit,” Toffler raved. “We were deep in the throes of reality television in the early 2000s, but I don’t think we’d ever had someone over 50 years old featured on any show on MTV in its history,” he explained. “We were looking to launch Cribs, and we shot a bit with the Osbournes, and we all kind of looked at each other and just felt there is some wonderful, serendipitous chaos and insanity in this house that people would eat up. What a loving, dysfunctional, chaotic, musical family they were. And it just hit us to keep shooting, which went on for years.”

How did The Osbournes become such a successful show?

Toffler laid the success of the series directly at the feet of Ozzy, saying that the series showed the world a different side of the previously feared musician. It helped that his doting wife, Sharon, was there to soften his image. “Ozzy had an allegedly sinister style and way about him, and you know, snorted a line of ants on a tour with Motley Crue and all the lore that all of us read,” Toffler said. “People were scared s---less of him. You know, the prince of darkness. But he’s like a lovable teddy bear. I mean, we know who the tougher one was in that family, and it wasn’t Ozzy. So I think it just endeared him to people around the world…And then just getting to sit with him was eye-opening and quite wonderful over the years.”

The Osbournes is available to rent on Amazon Prime Video and other major rental platforms.

When is Pete Davidson’s baby due?

Although the exact due date is unknown, Davidson and Hewitt announced the happy news in a July 16 Instagram post. Amongst photos showing the couple embracing was one of a sonogram, the first time the couple saw their baby. “Welp, now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt jokingly captioned the post.

Fans of MLB Team Miss Out on Free Burgers After Tuesday Night Loss

The Milwaukee Brewers came into Tuesday night's game winners of 11 straight.

That meant they had the best record in baseball, and it also meant they were one win away from uncloking free burgers.

The George Webb Restaurant has a promotion that gives out free burgers if the Brewers win 12 games in a row, so the end was in sight.

That is, until Tuesday. The Brewers lost, 1-0, to the Seattle Mariners.

Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski, who was named to the National League All-Star team, was pulled after 3.2 innings as the team continues to use him in limited fashion.

In the bottom of the sixth, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh hit a home run, which was the only score of the game, and the Brewers' bats went cold to end the winning streak.

— ESPN Milwaukee (@ESPNMilwaukee) July 23, 2025

The restaurant took to X after the game to send a message to the fans.

"Tough break tonight, Milwaukee! While we were all rooting for that 12th win, we're still here serving up your favorite burgers, chili, and all-day breakfast. Keep cheering on the Crew, and we'll keep serving up the best. Thanks for your support!"

— George Webb (@George_Webb) July 23, 2025

The 12-game win streak and free burger promotion have only happened twice since the deal went into effect in 1970.

The first time was in 1987 when they won the first 13 games of the season, and the other came in 2018.

So, the Brewers were so, so close to scoring free burgers, but at least fans can be happy that Milwaukee is 60-41 and tied with the Chicago Cubs for the best record in baseball.

Surf Instructor, 24, Has Severed Arm Reattached After Horrific Train Accident

A 24-year-old surf instructor from California is still managing to smile in the wake of a horrific train accident that resulted in her arm being completely torn off before it was successfully reattached after a grueling 10-hour surgery.

Elieah Boyd of Ventura, California says she was riding her 80-pound electric bicycle on July 7 just before 5:30 p.m. when the unthinkable happened.

What happened?

“There was no train horn. It was like three seconds from when I saw the train to when it happened,” she told KTLA. “I just happened to have my hand still on the bike as the train goes by. The train barely clipped the bike, just enough to take my arm completely off.”

Boyd said she looked down after being struck by the Amtrak train and recalled not seeing her arm. She refused to believe what her eyes were seeing.

According to a GoFundMe set up to help pay for future medical expenses -- like more scheduled surgeries -- Boyd was rushed to the hospital and later transferred to UC Irvine Medical Center, where doctors performed the complex surgery to reattach her arm.

KTLA reports that a retired firefighter had been walking with Boyd, and it was the firefighter who alerted police and paramedics to look for her arm. Police found the severed arm near the crash site.

"Miraculously, the surgery was successful. Through it all, Elieah has shown incredible strength, keeping her positive spirit and infectious smile," the GoFundMe states. "Her journey to recovery will be long and challenging, but we know her resilience will carry her through."

How is Boyd feeling now?

KTLA reports that Boyd, who needs at least two more surgeries, now has some feeling back in her arm.

“Kind of like jolts of energy is what it feels like,” she said. “I do have feeling internally that it’s healing.”

And as one might expect from an avid surfer, Boyd can't wait to get back in the water.

“As soon as I can touch the water, I’ll be on a surfboard,” she told KTLA. "That’s all I dream about here in the hospital. I just want to get back in the water and surf.”

Incredible Footage Shows Bison Fighting Off Wolf Pack in Yellowstone

They say you're always stronger in numbers, but this wolf pack learned the hard way that that's not always the case.

Incredible footage taken at Yellowstone National Park by a group of tourists with Jackson Hole EcoTours shows a portion of the Jackson Butte pack of wolves hunt bison for almost two hours in Yellowstone's Northern Range.

According to one post showing a long video of the hunt, "the pack first tried picking off the calves, but the adult bison quickly rallied and drove them off over and over again."

With no luck against the bison calves, the wolves "switched their attention to some of the tired and isolated adults."

But the wolves had zero luck there as well, especially against one exhausted bison.

A second video shows what happened near the end of the chase, when the exhausted bison appears to kick one wolf in the jaw. The wolf can be seen limping away in pain, and the hunt comes to an exhausting end.

Billy Fabian, a Yellowstone National Park guide, posted on Instagram that "it took a while for the wolf that took the kick to shake it off and it still could have a broken jaw or other injury."

The guide added that "the bison made good with its escape to live another day."

That's nature.
