Hi! My name is Amy Mah Vampire and here are some helpful hints from my book: Fangs Rule: A Girls Guide to Being a Vampire
Going out on a date: Yes we all go thought the same difficulties of what to wear, the wardrobe will not shut but I still do not have anything suitable, so after hours of searching in the end I decide to wear black as it will match my comfy shoes, ok so I have more shoes than a dictators wife but only one comfy pair and they are black, why comfy shoes? Well I have no idea where we are going so what the heck should I wear!
Now comes the date bag, why can’t a girl just go out, and when I say a girl I mean me, why do I have to look like I’m going for a 10 day vacation and not just a night out.
So let’s open the date bag and check if everything is there.
1. Cell phone fully charged.
2. Spare cash and credit card.
3. Packet of mints for after eating smelly food….er…………foreigners
4. Chap stick ….well you may kiss him and …….. it goes with the mints ok?
5. Make up mirror, why take a mirror you ask, ..er …well if I get ship wreaked I can use it to signal for help, look it is just needed ok!
6. Packet of tissues just in case you cannot find a washroom when out.
7. Keys large bunch and no I do not know why luggage keys are on the same ring with my house keys.
8. Sun glasses, hat and 100% sun block just in case you stay out early.
9. A spare pair of panties in case I sleep over ……… er not that I am planning to sleep over … er forget it ok! Look I said stop giggling and forget it!!!!
10. Precautions and protection, nowadays it is not just a boys reasonability for protection and so a girl should also take her own protection if needed, personally I take a can of Mace and a 10 inch kitchen knife and if that fails I sink my teeth into the neck!

Welcome to The Wormhole and my day on the tour!
It is my pleasure to promote Amy Mah (Vampire)
and her book Fangs Rule: A Girls Guide to being a Vampire.

The author Amy Mah (Vampire) is a well known blogger, that writes and blogs as a cynical teenage vampire:
Being a
vampire sounds like it should be a cool thing to be as a teenage girl,
like sleeping during the day and enjoying a night life with friends,
huh, no one had warned me that it also meant having to suffer Teenage
Hormones for so long! I am stuck as a teenager the years may pass but I
am the same age! And as to the rules, so many rules, and vampire
uniforms! Guys have long fancy cloaks that they are always tripping over
and as to the Girls uniform, it is a 18th C Nightdress! The old male
vampires expect a girl to walk about wearing just a see through
nightdress with no underwear on!! as if that is ever going to happen!,
they have seen far too many horror films! Life as a teenager is normally
a living hell but even more so when you have fangs. The world is just
out to get me, and not just by people trying to stake me because I have
better teeth than they do!

This
little book is going to be a hit with the young vampire readers. It's a
fun twist on the do's and don't's of and what it's like to be a
vampire. Set up as an A-Z guide, this book is filled with fantastic
illustrations and comical advice on everything from aging to zombies. I
enjoyed the handwritten look of the font. Thoughtfully put together.

Welcome Amy Mah on Her Blog Tour - A Day Walker Type of Vampire Girl...

Being a Day Walker type of Vampire Girl
Ok let’s see if I can be of help to our teenage vampire readers, lots of humans get it very wrong about what a vampire can or can’t do, and as I have said many times, it is the fault of the film industry and popular TV showing the evil actions of criminals such as Buffy and Blade .

So let’s talk about the dreaded sunlight and the fact I am a daywalker... Er...ok so maybe more of ... Overcast Rainy Day Walker...or Foggy, or Snowing ...look, do you get it? Sunlight is a problem... If I say I am a day walker it sounds kinda cool...but as a overcast or rainy day walker it just sounds sad...But Strong sunlight is a problem for any vampire. The Undead sort have the worst time as they can burn in strong light, but we living ones also suffer.
Sunlight is deadly to a Turnling/Undead (a human turned into a Vampire) and it is not a pretty sight to see one of our undead maids forgetting the time and stepping out into a nice sunny day... Yuck...

FANGS RULE; a girls guide to being a vampire is a young Adult book for anyone between Puberty and Senility as it takes a close up look at life as a female teenage vampire in easy to follow A to Z advice for the reader.
Giving helpful advice such as how to explain to your Mom that as a teenage blood curdling denizen of the night you would like to paint your cave bedroom black without having a shouting match over why you don’t like the way she painted the stalagmites bright pink to go with the large stuffed pink bats hanging from the ceiling.
Everything is explained from how to polish your fangs to fashion tips and ways of climbing across a ceiling wearing a nightdress without showing your underwear.
Fangs Rule is a must for every teenage vampire and from these pages you will see why Amy says “Vampires Don’t Sparkle! …. They Bite!

Let me read you an excerpt:
BOYFRIENDS (also see DATING)
Boyfriends are boys that are not friends. Handsome, charming, caring, strong, sweet, cute, hot, fit... Er...the difference is obvious. If not then you are still too young for a boyfriend and should stick with your stuffed bats.
Meeting the boyfriend's parents for the first time is a problem, like what to wear and how to act. It's best to have some simple rules to follow.
1. Don't talk about boys you have bitten or have bitten you in the past.
2. Don't tell risky stories like the first time you came on heat and what you tried to do with the head of the council until guards pulled you off him and forced you to give back his pants.
3. Don't offer to raise your dress to show them your family brand at the dinner table.
4. Don't comment on the food, ever. Even if it is still alive and you have to catch it before it runs off, if you have to say anything just point out how you enjoy frisky fresh food.
5. Lastly, no matter how weird, strange, odd, peculiar and down right creepy his parents are or act, try very hard not to point this out to him.
Reasons:
A: Strangely he has somehow failed to notice.
B: Or, he has noticed and is praying hard that you haven't.
C: Remember what your own are like.
CLAW MAINTENANCE
Yes, I know our claws are naturally sharp but we should still use a block of wood as a scratching post so as to keep our fingernails strong. I keep a few blocks of wood under the bed so that I can (as my Aunt calls it) "play the piano" while watching TV wildlife films. Some people say it's not ladylike to do this but my Aunt informs me that it is perfectly normal for a girl to play with herself in this way. But I do wish my Aunt would word it differently.

Hi, Thanks for coming to visit today at Book Reader's Heaven! My name is Amy Mah and I am Asian Chinese by looks, I could say that I am oriental looking, but if I do, people would think I look like a carpet.

Brotherhood of Shades
Todays New book
Brotherhood of Shades

From the chaos of Dissolution rises a
secret order, a Brotherhood formed to protect the world of the living from the
world of the dead.
Adam, a teenage boy living on the
streets of London, knows nothing of the fantastic and precarious world that
exists just beyond his reality – until he dies, cold and alone, aged 14. After
years of rejection, Adam discovers he is important, and the Brotherhood needs
him. His recruitment to their Order will take him on an adventure that spans
the worlds of both the living and the dead, as he and a living girl
(14-year-old Edie Freedom) battle to solve a prophetic riddle and save the
world.
The author
Dawn Finch grew up in a book
filled house on the river's edge of a tough London-overspill council estate.
When she was ten her dad gave her a collection of Edgar Allan Poe stories and
this launched a lifetime fascination with the macabre and the unexplained. At
the age of eleven a fierce librarian refused to lend her a copy of Bram
Stoker's Dracula on the grounds that she was too young to read it. She vowed
that if she was ever a librarian she would never deny a child a great book. At
twelve Dawn told her careers advisor that she wanted to be either a writer or a
librarian, and she was dismayed to be told to stop 'pointless dreaming'. After
many years of study and hard work, and a range of jobs – from reading
unsolicited slush-pile manuscripts, to dressing as a Benedictine monk to take
children on cathedral tours – Dawn carved out a successful career as a
Children's Librarian and Reader Development Consultant. With the publication of
her first book, Brotherhood of Shades, she is thrilled to be able to add Writer
to her CV as well.
She knows with absolute certainty that the only time dreams
become pointless is when you stop working hard to achieve them.

Hot Sexy Naked Blood Suckers or its just a book review ....lol
Today's Spotlight is on author Amelia Mah

I'd like to welcome Amelia Mah today to Not Enough Time in the Day. She's graciously agreed to be our first Saturday Spotlight author. Fangs Rule: a Girl's Guide to Being a Vampire and her new release Amy Mah Vampire (Night Life) document the ups and downs of being a teenage vampire. Let's get started shall we? Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hi my name is Amy, ok my full Vampire name is: Lady Amelia Mistress of the Night Mare but I prefer to shorten mine to Amy Mah (Vampire) or just Amy to my friends. For those who do not know me I should point out that I used to be a feral vamp living in the outside world raised by humans until I was discovered and adopted into Vampire society. In the human world life was very difficult for me, I knew I needed blood but did not know how to get it, all I had was human books and films telling all kinds of stuff that was useless like I can change into a bat, and that is so not true as I tried it and all it does is make you look stupid as you flap your arms up and down! It was while living with humans I started writing my own little journal, recording what it is like being a teenage vampire, I know that a lot of it will be very obvious but I started it when I knew very little about Vampire-ing…
What inspires you to write?
Well I have lots of stories playing in my head so it’s either become a writer or start wearing white jackets that tie your arms behind your back. If it was not for being able to step into my own world I expect I would go crazy.
Do your stories tend to be character driven or plot driven?
The characters. The plot just seems to happen on its own. Nothing is ever planned. I just provide the fingers on the keyboard.

In what ways are your characters like you? In what ways are your characters not like you?
The main character is just like me. Yes, she is very like me. In fact we both have the same name! Ok so we are a little different, like she can hang from the ceiling by her foot claws where as I would be lucky to hold onto a ladder with two hands.
I based her on my own childhood and yes I did have a very odd upbringing. I remember sleeping on roofs as a child. Well we had a flat roof and it was so much fun on a hot summers night to wear PJ’s and snuggle up in a sleeping bag staring up at the stars and yes my PJ’s did have bats on them. Ho, those were the days!
I now own panties with bats on! See I did say I was crazy. I will try and add a pic of them to this just to prove it.

What are the recurring core issues in your stories?
I can remember all the embarrassing stuff that all teenagers go through and I show that they are the same when you happen to be a different species and to this day I still think boys happen to be a different species with or without fangs.
In the book I talk of the problems with simple things like wrapping a tower around yourself when coming out of a shower, this sort of thing definitely comes from my high school days where for fun girls used to pull off other girls towels so you had to run after them naked, apart from the writing has it affected me? Well if ever see me wear just a towel in company nowadays I would be the one with that comes with a belt!
My vampire world has lots of rules and when something happens then there is a reason for it. You can see how the main characters run up against rules and what happens to them when they do. Normally it is very funny to watch.
Why do you think you are drawn to these types of characters/plots again and again?
I try to put myself into a situation and then look around and think heck how would I get out of this. As I said, the world has rules and my characters are not super heroes.
Just because a vampire has better teeth than most people all it means is they need to brush them more often!
What are your favorite fiction genres to read from?
I love funny novels.
What are your favorite non-fiction genres to read from?
History, yes I so love history.
Where can we find your book Fangs Rule: A Girl's Guide to Being a Vampire and your new book Amy Mah Vampire (Nightlife)?
Signed and post free just visit my website: www.fangsrule.com
Or this page: www.fangsrule.com/buy.htm

Give the core premise behind your story.
Today's world is difficult for everyone, especially teenagers.
They face the stresses of school, deciding whom to date, and the biggie of sex, just to name a few. Imagine all of those things ten times worse, and you might get an idea of what it's like being a living, breathing teenage vampire.
At last, the world can read about the life of a girl with good teeth, her problems with strong sunlight that gave her spots, and the sunblock that made her hair go yucky and produced more spots. Yes, sunlight was dangerous, as she could be the first teenager in history to die from terminal acne!
In her everyday life, older vampires expected her to walk about at night in the traditional female uniform, a see-through, 18th-century nightdress, without undies! Well, this female vampire knew why the cold winds blowing along the corridors were called, "male winds," so she wore her see-through nightdress over jeans and a very thick jumper. To be sure that people would still know she was a vampire, the jumper had a very large, pink bat on it.
And as to guys, well, it was normal for a girl to dream about guys; she just wished the dreams could have involved chocolates and holding hands, not leaping out at someone, ripping off his shirt, and demanding to know what blood type he was (well at least not on the first date).
When and where does your book take place?
With a world filled with blood sucking denizens of the night (vampires) you want me to give you a location? Ok, think of it as America and as to the time well, about right now. ;)

Who is the heroine?
Amy Mah who is a teenage girl that finds she is stuck as a teenager for far too long.
What drives her?
Day to day living, the same that drives most people.
What is she running away from (literally or figuratively)?
Mostly humans that want to kill her just because she has better teeth than they do.
What about her will make readers sympathetic to her?
Anyone who is a teenager or lived through the teenage years will know her problems.
What is the theme at the heart of your story?
Growing up and being different
Will your new book be part of a series?
Yes I hope it is, but it will depend if people buy this one. If they do then it will be the first in the Night Life series.
Last Year I did a book which is a guide to help to understand my vampire world it is called FANGS RULE: A Girls Guide to Being a Vampire”

Very good point, Amy! Where else can we find more about you and your books?
You can find me at my website http://www.fangsrule.com and at The Vampire Book Realm http://www.vampirebookrealm.com/
Thank you so much for joining us here today, Amy! Life as a teenager is rough enough, but being a vampire on top of it has to be even harder.
As an extra special treat, here are two of Amy's videos for you to enjoy.

Creating a Vampire World
Fangs Rule! Amy Mah on Creating a Vampire World

Welcome Amy Mah to Immortyl Revolution!
Amy Mah

How did I create a vampire world?
Well, it all started when my publisher Nicholas Reardon of Reardon Publishing was looking for authors to write some paranormal novels, he wanted something funny to publish and wanted to use an as yet undiscovered author, and that is where I came in, Miss Mah to the rescue!
You would think creating a vampire world would be easy as everyone knows all about vampires and unlike doing a book on say a dryad, which apart from a numbering system is also a tree nymph in case you are interested. With a Dryad I could say she has six fingers on her left hand and likes to drink mead and very few people will shout and say no it is the right hand and she only drinks water,
But with vampires you have to see what has gone before you and then build on it, and that is what I did with my book: FANGS RULE a girls guide to being a vampire.
With vampires you do not have to tell anyone about the basics ……basics are .er…well……like ……….blood……sun light……coffins…holy symbols…….fangs …….. fancy cloaks …. And did I say blood? Yes? Well it is worth a second mention as BLOOD is what vampires are all about, as you read what people write about, things change our lovely long toothed friends can walk in sunlight, wear modern clothes, and even be a priest! Ok I know but it was in a very low budget film that I will not even name as it was ……..er………. crap ………So lots of things can change but never the blood …….even if it now comes in bottles (True Blood).
Over the years I have read and seen lots of vampire books and films and some are so bad I wanted to go and bite the author or film director.
I once saw a film called the last vampire in New York that had the vampire walking about in the day light and shooting people instead of biting them………… if you have not seen it don’t bother,
………..I like films to have a plot and a reason for happening or they bore me, so when I have a world to create I try and step into it and take a look around ………… things have to happen for a reason …………. And always have logic to them no mater how odd the logic is …….. if someone can jump off a roof and land on the ground unharmed (Underworld) ther must be a reason and there must even be a reason for wearing long leather coats and is it the same as the cloaks in the past ……… the answer could be yes and in my world I can you give reasons.
So lets go back to BLOOD ……….step into my world and look back out at the odd humans as you join a teenage vampire trying to explain what life is like for a teenage vampire:
Wow, yes, blood. The taste, the feel and the pleasure of it... wowwwwww. (Sorry, getting a bit carried away again.) Humans always think it is disgusting how we can like blood so much knowing where it comes from, well, all I have to say is that they eat eggs knowing where they come from. And as to milk, well it's just perverted to enjoy milk unless you're a baby.
Forget the human movies about bathing in the blood of virgin teenage girls to keep young, it's rubbish - and besides, just where do you find virgin human teenagers now? And, like, are you going to ask them personal questions about their love life before you add them as a bath salt? I think not.
If you would like to know more about my take on the human world you can take a look at my blog http://amymahvampire.blogspot.com/
or better still buy one of my books at…………………… www.fangsrule.com
Amy Mah (Vampire)

The front of the book has the title in dripping blood and shows Amy as a 18th century dressed vamp in a graveyard, where as the back is in modern clothing,
The artwork is by the Asian manga artist Heby Sim and what happened is that I sent pictures of myself and she turned me into what you see in the books, so it is really me you see in the books!!!! She even produced a full portrait of me which I have hung up on the wall over looking the computer.
Synopsis:
Fangs Rule a girls guide to being a vampire
Being A vampire sounds like it should be a cool thing to be as a teenage girl, like sleeping during the day and enjoying a night life with friends but no one warned Amy that it also meant having to suffer Teenage hormones for so long as she was stuck as a 16 year old vampire until her new vampire family would let her grow up, being a vampire was not as much fun as she had hoped and as to walking about wearing a see through nightdress with no underwear, well that was so not going to happen!
So Amy decided to write a book to help all teenage vampire girls and here it is FANGS RULE a girls guide to being a vampire.
A self help guide for teenage vampire girls, the guide is fully illustrated by manga Artist Heby and is written in an easy to follow A - Z format explaining everything a teenage vampire girl would need to know about living life as a modern Vampire.
What is fashionable to wear when eating out?
Fang maintenance & how to keep your claws sharp.
Should you let a boy bite you on the first date?
Easy to understand clear advice is given to every day problems Example:
When you get an urge to bite: We all get those normal urges to bite things, and I must point out it is very normal, Claws are all well and good in a fight but a bite gives the extra advantage of getting a refreshing drink at the same time. Lots of girls worry about showing their Fangs in public believing that to show your fangs is rude, but don't be shy they can be a girls greatest asset (ok second greatest asset) if a boy is being rude to you, don't just snarl at him, just bite him! You are a vampire why do you think you have sharp teeth if not for sinking them into a boy that is being rude to you.
Life as a teenager is normally a living hell but even more so when you have fangs. She knows the world is just out to get her, and not just by people trying to stake her because she has better teeth than they do!
Bio:

People say things like people should be allowed belief in
crazy gods ..........er why?
Yes ok freedom but freedom is only ok so long as one person’s
freedom does not harm others.
Belief is not always a good thing to have...........
Get a large group of paedophiles
together and they will have a common belief that it is ok to have sex with 9 year
old girls ............. sure it is a belief but do we give them government
grants and the right to give out flyers on recruiting more members?
If a religion causes harm to
society then it is time for society to fight back!

Hi my name is Amy, and I am a vampire. For those who do not know me, I should point out that I used to be a feral vamp, living in the outside world raised by humans, until I was discovered and adopted into Vampire society.
In the human world life was very difficult for me, I knew I needed blood but did not know how to get it, all I had was human books and films telling all kinds of stuff that was useless, like I can change into a bat, and that is so not true as I tried it and all it does is make you look stupid as you flap your arms up and down! And is the sort of thing which follows you about like a bad smell as you struggle to survive in a place where everyday could be your last as you face the living hell humans call High School.
I had hoped life would be better once I was taken in to vampire society, well being a vampire sounds like it should be a cool thing to be, like sleeping during the day and enjoying a night life with friends.
Huh …….. but no one warned me of the rules and that it also meant having to suffer Teenage hormones for like forever or until my new vampire family would let me grow up!. Being a vampire was not as much fun as I had hoped and the rules are just crazy like being told I have to walk about wearing a see through nightdress with no underwear, and believe me with my bust size that is so not going to happen, I have a hard enough time as it is trying to get a boyfriend without showing him what I don’t have!
To fill in the time between discovering where best to bite someone, to be able to climb a wall just using your finger nails and at the same time snarling at the guys below that are trying to look up you your nightdress, I decided to write A self help guide to help other teenage vampire girls, and I have called it Fangs Rule and it is written in an easy to follow A - Z format explaining everything a teenage vampire girl would need to know about living life as a modern Vampire.
What is fashionable to wear when eating out?
Fang maintenance & how to keep your claws sharp.
Easy to understand clear advice is given to every day problems
Example: When you get an urge to bite: We all get those normal urges to bite things, and I must point out it is very normal, Claws are all well and good in a fight but a bite gives the extra advantage of getting a refreshing drink at the same time. Lots of girls worry about showing their Fangs in public believing that to show your fangs is rude, but don't be shy they can be a girls greatest asset (ok second greatest asset) if a boy is being rude to you, don't just snarl at him, you bite him! You are a vampire, why do you think you have sharp teeth if not for biting.

Come die for me!!!

Come die for me!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7OLJR1VVcY
Looking at the trees
and I see that Fall is now with us and it will be getting cold ..............
So I am starting to
drool over the adverts on real fur coats and what little rodents that can die
to keep me warm
To make a coat
chinchillas: more than 100 ( they are so small)
12-15 lynx
10-15 wolves or coyotes
15-20 foxes
60-80 minks
27-30 racoons
10-12 beavers
60-100 squirrels
ok ok so I am not that mean no lynx or wolves, and foxes are
cute
but Minks are horrid and squirrels are just tree rats
Perhaps I should say it is for religious reasons you can
kill someone for drawing a cartoon so who can say GOD did not say that I should
not have 80 minks die for the glory of gods plan to keep me warm this winter
If that fails I can always give them a pack of crayons
and tell everyone they were drawing a pic of Mohammed so had to die anyway.
See religions can be useful at times
…………. Er ……….
Not Logical but useful for killing things
And it is all your fault readers!
If you buy more books then I could turn the heating on so
that’s it you are causing the death of all these creatures not me
I don’t know how you can live with yourselves
