Jake Silver is one of the Silvertown Werewolf pack's sub-alphas.  For those who aren't familiar with Terry Spear's series. . . Jake is a triplet.  His "older" brother is pack Alpha, and he and his other brother are sub-alphas.  Sort of like co-leaders to the Alpha.  But don't worry ladies. . . Jake is all male, all wolf and all Alpha to the max.
Alicia is a stubborn, determined woman out to get the men who murdered her mother.  It doesn't matter to her that they are the Mob, or Werewolves. . . she just wants to see justice done.  Unfortunately, she tends to get in over her head.  Thankfully there is a sexy werewolf nearby who can only think of protecting her. . . in and out of bed!  Yummy! 
Jake and Alicia's story is steamy, dangerous, intriguing and so much more.  I loved this deviation from the "usual" wolf meets girl, wolf wants girl, wolf and girl mate. . . scenario.  Jake wants Alicia but has a huge problem.  She's human.  Jake refuses to turn a human, though he can't get her out of his mind!  Then. . . well, sorry, won't tell you more or that would spoil the story.  I'll just say there are some dramatic portions of this story that actually had me wondering what REALLY happened.  It definitely kept my interest and now I MUST read more!  I need MORE of Terry Spears werewolves . . .
Thankfully I do have a few more books from this series to re-read, but now I'm off to find the rest of the series to continue my adventures.  I HIGHLY recommend Terry Spear's books!~~Faeryotic Prose

It's Definitely a Monday!

I didn't remember if I'd shared these with you or not. My main computer crashed again. argh

So the picture I was going to share this morning is on my desktop, not on my laptop. *sigh*

This is SO not a good way to start out a Monday.

Pictures of the sculptures at the Japanese gardens and the sundial that was really cool. It was around 3 PM when we were there and the sundial really worked! And the butterfly-glassed in exhibit is also shown.




And we took these of my books at a Houston bookstore. Which are now happily autographed.

Off to try and get my word count!

Men in Easter Kilts!

Well, actually in pink shirts with brown leather kilts. Or pink kilts. And one I LOVE in purple. Seemed perfect for Easter, don't you think? Thanks to Donna for sending me the men in pink!

But I love this one too...he looks like my kind of hero, just as much as Gerard with his sword!

Wolf Easter Egg Hunts and Pink Kilts by Terry Spear

Finally, Easter wouldn't be Easter without a pink kilt. Only real men where pink. Wonder which clan this color represents??? I have to say that the picture above inspires me more to write my Highland Wolf Wedding, than the one below! :) But for Easter, okay. :)

Zooman Thompson!

Okay, if you've read Heart of the Wolf and Seduced by the Wolf, Zooman Thompson gets into the act, and here, Donna discovered him playing with red wolf pups (from Seduced by the Wolf...it's all about red wolves and partly based on a true story)...


And here...there may have to be something in a jaguar book about Zooman Thompson!

Thanks to Donna for sending me these pictures. She says he goes by another name, but don't believe it. That's his alias!

Who says jaguar shifters can't be cuddly? :)

My publisher for the Highland historicals has found a wonderful reader for The Accidental Highland Hero! I love her Scottish accent and the way she reads the story....so hoping we can get her to read for both the Highland books. They'll be in audio then too. Woohoo!

Okay, off to an early morning meeting.

We had violent storms last night, tornadoes tore through Dallas just an hour and a half north of us. We had a lot of hail.

Tatoos are DANGEROUS!

Can't decide what he is. Note: Tat on left arm. It could be a fake. Real wolves/jaguars, don't wear tats.

So maybe it's fake. To get the girls all hot and bothered. But you know what, I don't think he needs it for that reason. Do you?

Shifters can't wear tattoos. Why? Can you imagine Zooman Thompson capturing one of them and low and behold the wolf or jaguar has a tattoo of a dragon on his arm? 

Yep, the Wolf with a Dragon Tattoo.  The next thing you know they'd be kicking over hornet's nests, playing with fire, and all sorts of dangerous behavior.

So no REAL tats for shifters. They can get into all kinds of trouble without them!

Don't these two look like they could be from the same litter? Fur color-wise? The puppy is so content to sleep on the cat's arm. I'm not sure the cat is as content. Sometimes we have to give a little to show we care. :)
