Hug a Wolf!
Okay, this is Duncan MacNeill from A Howl for a Highlander. Yes...he's wearing a swimsuit in the story in the Grand Cayman Islands!!! Sometimes. :)
And everyone needs to hug a wolf!
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!! I spent ALL day and night working on final edits for A Highland Wolf Wedding and still am working on it today. I need to finish it this weekend so I can work full time on the next SEAL story and jaguar story.
So remember, hug a veteran hunk and hug a wolf. That's an order! :)

Even Stormy Days Can Bring Good News!
Hmm, ever find yourself between a rock and a hard place???? Seems like the storms of the world are converging all around you?
See, if you were a shapeshifting wolf, no problem! Just get naked and...shift. Then you can run wild and free without a care in the world. As long as there are no hunters around.
It's TGIF and the 3-day holiday is upon us! I'll be working some of it, finishing up A Highland Wolf Wedding to turn in, and working some more on Christmas SEAL Wolf...
Hope you all have fun plans! I'm going out with some friends to see Hunger Games and have lunch one of the days!
And then I'm going to find myself a cozy niche between a rock and a hard place...right here....

Happy TGIF EVE!!!
First, wouldn't it be fun to be where they are today? What cool chairs, eh?
The party was great last night! I have to say that my editor was talking to me as I was reading through messages, and Bonnie, she loved your comment about what you loved about my werewolves--they run around naked!Now if this was a baby jaguar, do you think the monkey would have been cuddling her? Oh yes. And best of friends if they grew up together. :)

Maya is in trouble already in the second of the jaguar stories. Figures. Her brother's away with his mate on another jungle adventure...and Maya's looking to do a little networking with some more jungle shifters, if she can locate them. So here's the challenge--what should the bar be called where jaguar shifters are hooking up?

Monday! Lions and Bears and Jaguars, Oh My!
Okay, he's not a wolf, more like a lion with that mane!
And the triplet bears are done! Have to deliver them before their birth date!
And I just finished writing all the way through--A Highland Wolf Wedding! Woohoo!!!You know how I was trying to make 90K word count? It's now at 100K! Yeah!
Okay, next I've got to jump on Jaguar 2 and A SEAL Wolf Christmas. But first...got to go to work.
So have a happy Monday!!! And enjoy the lion, bears, and jaguar, oh my!

Living in the Past...
I don't mean like, not moving forward with life, but living in the REAL past, like centuries ago would have been rough. No Internet, heaven forbid. No cell phones. I ran out of gas one time in the middle of nowhere and risked getting a ride from a man to pick up gas at a station twenty miles away. He was a traveling salesman. No kidding. Had tons of samples in his car. And he had a daughter about my age and said he'd hoped if anyone had seen his daughter on the road--I was already walking for the the exit 20 miles away that would take me to the only gas station that far out--that someone would help her out.
But wow, to have had a cell phone back then and could call for help. I have to say I was really lucky that day.
So in the far distant past, to think we wouldn't have that or all the wonderful conveniences we have now--microwaves...I don't use mine all the time, but boy when it's out, I realize how much I do use it. Or when the electricity is out...candles just don't do a room justice in the dark.
Yet, I LOVE historical romance. Love it. Sometimes authors will concentrate on the realism of the era--how filthy the cities were, how stinky, how people smelled so bad. How cruel they could be.
Not me. Sure, I romanticize it. Because I read for entertainment, not for total realism. :)
There's just something raw and powerful and sexy about historical romances!
What do you think? Would you take a trip to the past to meet up with one of these guys???

What can be better??? Happy TGIF!!!
Okay, this has to be one of my FAVORITE Highland pictures!!! 
And a little wolf playfulness. I just finished A Howl for a Highlander edits! And Duncan and Shelley did find some time to play as wolves, so this picture reminded me of them. Only it's in the tropics, not the snow!
The final read through will be coming, but that's just for pure enjoyment. So I've got to get back to working on A Highland Wolf Wedding. After I get a cup of hot green mandarin tea, and after I cut out another bear for a triplets order, 2 boys and a girl, and AFTER I take another look at the Highlanders, yum, riding bare back...well not bareback as in with no saddles, but bare back as in BARE EVERYTHING!
What a way to start a Friday, eh???
Oh, the bugman just arrived. Woohoo! The day is looking great!
