Indiana Jones and the Jaguar

What if Indiana Jones was running around in the jungle and he ran into Connor? As a jaguar? Now, jaguars are territorial. But would Connor mind that Indy was in HIS territory? As long as Indy was after the bad guys, not at all. If Indy had it in mind to rescue Kathleen? That's a different story. Then Connor would be one hot cat, you know, Savage Hunger.

Here's Connor eying Indiana Jones. Indy might be a hero in some jungles, but in the Amazon, Connor's a god.

But right now, I'm waiting for the bug man to come. I'd have to have some kind of big-time bug exterminator with me if I was running around in the jungle!
And then it's off to the PO with books, and I've got to get groceries. If I try to wing it, I'll buy whatever I don't need, and forget everything I do need...so MUST write list. What about you??? Do you remember everything you need without a list? Write a list and forget it? Or are you really organized and take the list with you, then buy everything that's not on the list anyway?
Have a super great Friday!!!

Waterfalls and Savage Hunger

Jaguars love the water! In Savage Hunger, a waterfall is important to the story....hmmm, yes!!!
We had a terrific storm in the middle of the night. Lightning, thunder, torrential rains. I loved it! The electricity went out at least once. But the heavy rains mean I don't have to water tomorrow. A good soaker will be so much better for the landscape than my piddly attempt at watering too.
I was hoping the rain might have washed in a jaguar hunk...but no such luck...
Last night I watched Gone set in Portland, Oregon and featuring Forest Park. I set some of my story, Seduced by the Wolf, in Forest Park, so it was fun seeing it again and thinking about my wolves running there. They could have taken out the bad guy! And the girl wouldn't have had to take care of the creep by herself.
Seeing Forest Park made me want to return to the great Northwest, to enjoy the beautiful forests, rivers, the Oregon beaches. It looked rainy and cold, just like I loved it!
So last night, I got some of their rain, and I was in Oregon again. For just a little while.
Now, I just need the big cat and the waterfall...or a wet Leidolf. Remember when he went swimming in the raw in the lake???

THE END--Savage Hunger!!!

Editing is a not like this. Truly.
Well, a little bit like this. I just finished final line edits for Savage Hunger. It was easy. Final line edits are the final read through and it's lots of fun reading the finished book. But when I got home, the edits I made on the PDF file turned into Chinese. Really. My kids read Japanese, so even they wouldn't have had a clue with this...
[image error]Luckily most of the edit changes I had made on a separate piece of paper. And I didn't have to go through too much of the highlighted notes to say what I needed to...the main thing was reading the whole book through and trying to catch any mistakes. :)

And here is Maya sneaking up on a bad guy. You really don't want to get on a jaguar shifter's bad side.

You don't need to feel sorry for Kat though. If everything works out and they make it out of the jungle alive...she's got one big hunk of a jaguar to love! And a fun-loving sister to boot!
Back to working on a SEAL Wolf Christmas.
The library has turned into a zoo. I hope that they got caught up last night because I don't want to EVEN see what the workload looks like today....
Have a SUPER hump day! And think BIG kitty-cat loving!

Have a Dreamy Monday!

Some men wear them well. Some don't. He definitely does. But then, it might also have something to do with the rest of him. What do you mean you didn't notice he HAD a beard???
I think every Monday should start like this. :)
Today I'm talking about why I self-publish books at Eliza Knight's For the Love of Books! Thanks, Eliza, for having me!
I'm off to write some more on SEAL Wolf Christmas. I had a real writing spurt...so instead of only getting 10,000 done, I have 17,000 done! So I want to keep up the momentum!
Whoops, I meant to mention that everyone who commented on my birthday blog is a winner. Think of it as a party favor. So send me your addresses in an email, tell me which book you want, and your wish is my command! You have to have commented by Sunday! Thanks!!!
It'll take me a little while to get them off with working full time, but they'll be sent off!!
Happy Monday, everyone!!!

A Howl for a Highlander....

In A Howl for a Highlander, coming in Feb, Duncan MacNeill is enjoying the aqua waters in the Caribbean...but he is concerned for the heroine when she wants to swim at night. Shark-feeding time, you know.
Being his Highland warrior self, he's not about to let her swim alone, particularly after he sees how little she's wearing. He's a wolf after all!
Hope you all are enjoying the first days of June! I'm off to write.
Behave yourselves, or not....I think Bjornolf's ready to misbehave with Anna, but she's not buying it. :)
Have fun on this Saturday!!!

Happy TGIF--Give Your Wolf Pack a Hug!
Wolf packs have to do with taking care of their pups. Here's a man who's doing just that!
And here's the rest of the pack celebrating with me for my birthday!
And well, this is how the pack all begins. First there's nuzzling, dreamy-eyed looks, and the next thing you know....
Cuddle time! You've got a pack!
Happy TGIF!!!!
I had terrible nightmares this morning...was late for work, couldn't find keys, finally got into a car--one button made the car go a zillion miles a minute like hyperspeed and I couldn't see anything but a big blur. Then the vehicle crashed.
And I was back home looking for another vehicle to take to work. I woke up this morning not sure if if this was my day off yet or not. It wasn't. :)
So I'm running late. *sigh*
Have a super Friday!!!

It's Tuesday!!
I did work on Sunday and Monday, so it's not like I didn't work, but it isn't quite the same when the building is closed!
So today is the start of children's reading sign up and that means it's the start of everything being crazy. More so than it has been already!
I only wish I looked this good when I've been through a ton of battles....
:)
Speaking of which, we couldn't see Hunger Games as it was playing too late. So instead we saw Men in Black. It was so funny. A lot of great characterization.
I loved where they had the scene set at Cape Canaveral. My dad used to work on those stands, helping to get the missions off, and was there the night the astronauts died in the fire. They had a total black out of all communication and my mom didn't know if my dad had been killed that night or not. It was a horrible time, horrible for the families who lost their loved ones. My dad's eyebrows were singed off from the heat.
Have I mentioned how many lives my dad had?
I'm off to work, but wanted to say, woohoo, it's TUESDAY!!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I did! I finished A Highland Wolf Wedding!!!
Happy Tuesday!

Happy Memorial Day!!!

Today is a work day. You know for me it always is.:)
But it's a good work day. I have to go in and work at the library for a while. But I'm also going to see The Hunger Games and have lunch out.
The battle is won!!! I finished A Highland Wolf Christmas! And now I'm back to SEALs and their Christmas story!
I'm also trying to get The Winged Fae into print. Had trouble with numbering pages, so I had to shelf the story for a while, but I finally fixed it Friday night, and will be rereading it, making sure there aren't any errors, and then I've got to work on the print cover. So the day is jam packed with all kinds of stuff.
I'm thinking about SEAL at the same time. I tend to multi-task. But I want something super great for an opener...I've written the beginning, but oftentimes it gets moved. So I'm not sure that it's truly the beginning...we'll see.
Hope you all are having a wonderful holiday!!!
Mine will be great! Even though I'll work 6 hours of the holiday, it doesn't feel like it with breaking it up over two days. And the really neat part? Only 4 days left to work this week!
Okay, have to quit goofing off! Have a fun day!
