We Made it PAST Monday! Celebrate!

First, have to have a man hunk. :) Prerequisite for any day.

 Then we have to smile. Also something we should do EVERY DAY.


 And then a note about pack wisdom. Sometimes we don't choose our pack mates. They choose us.


Same goes for bed mates. :) Life sure can be good!

Sold! A SEAL Wolf Christmas!

Not sure about the title, but Sourcebooks bought A SEAL Wolf Christmas!

It all began with To Tempt the Wolf and Hunter and his wolf pack!

You know how that began. Tessa finds a naked man on her beach. Hey, he's a SEAL...wolf. What can you expect?  Snowstorm coming. What's a woman to do???

Then there's A SEAL in Wolf's Clothing.




And a return to Hunter's pack, only this time with one of his SEAL team members, back at the Oregon coast, Finn Emerson intending to protect Hunter's sister Meara.


Meara catches him before he covers himself with a towel, pretending to be her lover while she's intending to find a mate. And it's NOT going to be him. He's such a devil of a wolfish SEAL hunk.

And now?

I got word last night, talk about TGIF!!! Anna and Bjornolf get their turn!

A SEAL Wolf Christmas (title probably to change)


Navy SEAL Bjornolf Jorgenson and undercover operative Anna Johnson have a rocky beginning at their first meeting all to do with pantyhose and tying her to a bed after some heavy-duty sparring, and him declaring she has mighty fine killer knees. Christmas is coming but thoughts of sugar plum fairies and kissing under the mistletoe isn’t something these two gray werewolves have in mind when they're tasked to be the newlyweds preparing for Christmas while investigating a SEAL’s murder at a Christmas Tree farm.
Neither care about Christmas, sharing gifts, and all the traditions that go along with the season since neither enjoyed the holiday while growing up. But as they battle each other as to what makes for the perfect newly married couple’s first Christmas, they learn that a little Christmas cheer can become so much more, especially if they can take down a SEAL’s killer before they become his next target.
So get ready for more of Bjornolf. Yum. :)  And Anna and her give no quarter attitude!

Have Sword Will Travel

There's something sexy about a man and his sword. I loved westerns growing up. But men and their guns isn't quite as...sexy. I think it's because though you have to have skill to shoot, you have to have a lot more physical strength and stamina to sword fight. And if any of you read some of my interviews with the characters in my stories, they have a LOT of STAMINA. Very important if you're going to be a hunk. :)

It's also important to be wise and contemplative, and not always ready to whip out the sword, so here's what happens when the hunky Highlander is a wolf.




Of course when he's in wolf form, he doesn't need a sword. Teeth will do fine. He still needs STAMINA. That is if he's going to fight a bad guy wolf.

So I say instead of Have Gun Will Travel, we should: Have Sword Will Travel, though I still love my western cowboy hunks, but for today, I'm celebrating HAPPY TGIF with the Highlander and his sword. Want to join us?

Random

When I switch topics too suddenly for my daughter to follow (it's not at all my fault), my daughter says, "That's random, Mom." Have you ever taken random words and come up with a story? Or done the same with pictures?

So I found some totally cool, but totally random pictures and today I'm being...RANDOM. :)

When reading a book, we can be immersed in the flower of life, the pages opening to new and wondrous things.

We hope to find a hunk or two!

And we hope that we find love. I love this picture! The gray wolves on a gray snowy day with no thought about anything but each other. The world is upside down for one, right side up to the other. They are connected.


So today, and everyday, enjoy your random musings. You never know when they might really be profound!

HAPPY Hump DAY!!!

Happy, happy Hump Day!!!

Today at the library we're having a Mother's Day Tea, which means we get to share in it after the kids do and I'm dressing up a bit.

But first, I wanted to share the perfect hunk for hump day, and a smiley face that needs rosy cheeks to say I sooo approve.

Oh, and just to let you  know Donna sent me a picture that is PURRRFECT for Mother's Day, so be forewarned, I mean, looking forward to it! :) He's a kilted dream!

What a Way to Spend a Tuesday!

Ever climbed a tree when you were a kid? My aunt's trees were the best. She lived in Southern California and had olive trees. The branches were like this, spread out, low, easy to climb. Although if I'd been a jaguar, I could have climbed any kind of big old tree.


At our last house, my daughter would climb into the ancient elm tree that shaded the whole backyard. She's sitting beneath the shade of that tree. The brick patio we built is all around it and underneath the stone bench she's sitting on. My son and daughter and I built the patio out of old brick pavers that once had been part of buildings and cobblestone roads. She would sit and read in that tree that had gnarly branches like this.

I had a walkway poured, but the southern pine tree took over most of it, so I added a curving brick edging next to it so we'd still have a walk to walk on!


To be this jaguar on a Tuesday morning, one branch for her head, the other for her rump...happy, content as could be...ah, what a life.

Or, to be this one that comes with her own big cat shifter--so sexy, so protective, so yummy?

Man and Dog and....Fawn

In A Highland Wolf Wedding, Cearnach has a connection with their Irish wolfhounds. Don't you just love a man who loves pets? There's something endearing about it.

 Even though Cearnach is definitely alpha, he'd have to really show who's in charge when the dog is lots bigger than him! And here's a picture to show just how big a wolfhound is in comparison to man. And to think the clan has a whole pack of them!

Here's an Irish wolfhound using a fawn for a pillow. LOL But this wolfhound is a pup too. Might think the fawn is her mother, and of course the fawn probably thinks the pup is her momma.

So what do you think about a man who loves a dog? Or cat? :)

Off to edit some more. I've written the end of A Highland Wolf Wedding!!! Now I just have to keep editing it until it's ready to send to my editor!
