Wild Shifters Can't...
Can't have tattoos. They just can't. That's the marvelous thing about their kind though. They can shift and no one would know the difference. No nipple rings, nose rings, belly rings, or any other kind either. Can you imagine a ring pierced through a jaguar's nose when he or she decided to shift?
Now, if they came out, no problem. But while the world doesn't have a clue, they have to be careful.
So he isn't a shifter kind. Vampire? Yes!
I need to get my head back into the jungle and jaguars though.
Where there are jungles and shifters, there's heat!
Lazy days of summer, here we come!
Well, not for my characters. They have to work hard to get to this point. LOL!

Having a new cover is so exciting! Finishing the manuscript! Writing a new one! Editing the manuscript! The final, final read through! But the best is when readers can get their hands on the book. Then the real worry begins! Will readers like it??? Love it????

This is an awesome new series from Terry Spear and a sizzling page turner. Terry Spear is wickedly talented when it comes to characterization. Her characters seem to take on a life of their own.... seeming to step right off the page. Or rather, to jump right out of my Kindle! LOL!!!
As with the wolves in her awesome "Heart of the Wolf" series, the Jaguar shifters take on the actual characteristics of the predators in the wild. Her vivid descriptions of the Amazon jungle pulled me right into the scene along with the characters. The chemistry between Connor & Kat was explosive and you get very sensual love scenes. I was hooked from the opening paragraph. The story kept me riveted throughout the entire book. This book is fast paced with nonstop action. Plus you get snappy & realistic dialogue between the three muskateers (Connor,Kat & Maya).
I am looking forward to reading about the extremely spunky Mayas' search for her very own Jaguar mate. I recommend this book to any fan of the shifter genre. I enjoyed every minute of this story.

Windows to Another World
These are all pictures taken in Scotland. In the first, this was a little gate between the bed and breakfast we stayed at and the property next door. How quaint, I thought.The trees were lovely, and stone walls remind me of a Hobbit home. Notice the bell above the gate alerting the neighbors they've got company?
This was a hedge arch leading to a gate to woods beyond at Crathes Castle.
And this was a window to the Irish Sea at the first castle we looked at.
Windows to another world.
Just think that centuries earlier viewers looking through these windows would have had a totally different life and perspective.

You Might Think This Is Random...But...
First, we've got to start out with a wet hunk for the day. He doesn't have to be wet, but it appeals on a hot day. So first things first, we've got to have him. I am watering so he comes with the job.
Then we need a little humor. Okay, so I have a weird sense of humor. My pest control guy came and said I had an infestation of spiders. Really. In fact as I was watering yesterday, I found a huge one that had croaked on my windowsill. He did not look like this one, but just saying...
A spider infestation is a spider infestation.
And then we need love. Absolute, unconditional love. Guaranteed.
And there you have it! My latest book. Yep. Wet hunk? Check. Killing pests? Check. Unconditional love? You've got it.
So not so random after all, aye?
Have a lovely Sunday! I only need 8,000 words now and I should have had half of that much done already!!! *sigh*
The story is that I'm editing the first 199 pages, and when I edit, I take out as much as I add in. At this point, not hardly anything. Just a few minor changes, but it takes time and it only added 2,000 words yesterday instead of 5,000...
Still some more scenes to write and to finish up. *sigh*
Maybe I'll have it done by NEXT weekend. That's really not good. I HAVE to get going on Jaguar Fever....
