Sprite. I usually don't drink cola of any kind. There's so much sugar and carbonation, I avoid them. But today...Well, today was so god awfully hot that I caved and had a Sprite...And it was so damned good and cold! I felt like I was in a cola commercial for a brief moment. I really, really appreciated that Sprite. And you know what? I might appreciate another one.

Was definitely feeling the love today. Woke up, firstly, to a link from Elisa Rolle telling me that Charlie David's Inside Reader list, which includes THE REST IS ILLUSION in his top 10 favorite gay reads, is now listed at her site. Have I told everyone how much I adore Charlie? Go purchase something of his. He's good people.

Cabaret Life: Fight Club

An amazing film. Very symbolic ending. It was released in 1999. I don't think it could have been made after 9/11. Sorry I couldn't find the English version. David Fincher directing, Edward Norton and the gorgeous Helena Bonham Carter starring, and The Pixies singing the film out. Wow. Based on the book by openly gay writer Chuck Palahniuk.
