How well do you follow instructions?

No one is without being told what to do, even when in a leadership role. Understanding this was “a man under authority, with soldiers under [him]” (Matthew 8:9); but also having “great faith” (8:10). So, whatever position you may hold, might you never be too proud to do what you are asked to do. #FaithfulFollower❤️

What hope(s) do you encourage?

Hope can thrive, at any age. Yet, many hopes are discouraged and dispelled because they “are young” (1 Timothy 4:12 NIV). On the contrary, the Lord views youth to be the perfect age to harness hope and “not hinder them” (Luke 18:16). So, if you have hopes and want to pursue them, “let no one despise you for your youth” (4:12) and go do it. #FulfillThem❤️

What dirt can be found on you?

Dirt can and will be dug up and found, if there is any, and will be used against you if necessary. In David's case, there was no dirt anywhere. For almost seven decades, David was known to be “trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent” (Daniel 6:4). For living such a clean life, he was appointed to be one of “three administrators over” (6:2) a hundred plus "satraps" that "[ruled] throughout the kingdom" (6:1); and "prospered" (6:28) because he continued to live “as he had done before” (6:10). So, if you do not want any dirt to be found, might you consider living a life filled with "exceptional qualities" (6:3) like Daniel. #LeaveNoTrace #AsCleanAsAWhistle

What beauty do you see?

Beauty reveals itself, not only in appearances, but also through actions. Having "no beauty or majesty to attract us to him" (Isaiah 53:2), He "[took] up our pain, [and bore] our suffering" (53:4), as he was "pierced for our transgressions" and "crushed for our iniquities" (53:5) so that we may receive peace and be healed (see 53:5). So, instead of only seeing beauty in looks or grandeur, might you also see beauty in the selfless actions of others. #Pure & #RealBeauty

How do you want to live your life?

Life is meant to be lived; and when you add purpose to it you make it that more meaningful. Living with meaning were "God's holy people in Colossae" (Colossians 1:2 NIV), as they lived life with gratitude (see 1:3) and "faith and love" (1:5); and in doing so, He blessed them with “wisdom and understanding” (1:9) and empowered them to “[bear] fruit in every good work, growing in...[his knowledge]” (1:10). So, if you would like more meaning in your life, might you consider asking the Holy Spirit to help you "live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way" (1:10). #AMeaningfulLife

How strong is your faith?

Much faith is put in to what is seen; yet there is more truth and understanding seen in the unseen. Able "to gain understanding" (Daniel 10:12) through a "vision" (10:7) was David. Shortly after seeing "this great vision" (10:8), David was approached by a hand touching and saying to him to "consider carefully the words that I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you" (10:11). As a result, David was touched and given the "strength" (10:18) that he needed to "be strong" (10:19). So, instead of believing everything that you see, might you consider taking a chance on the unseen, as He always proves reliable. #SeeingTheUnseen & #Believing

What helps get you through your hurts and hardships?

No one lives a life without loss or challenges; and when they come along many are unsure of how to respond to them. Faced with unfavorable circumstances was David; and it wasn't until he "[cried]" and "[pleaded] for mercy" (Psalm 30:8) that the Lord turned his "wailing into dancing" (30:11). And, from that day forward, David vowed to "praise [God] forever" (30:12). So, whatever it may be, might you, too, just like David, consider asking Him, through both prayer and praise, to help heal your hurts and guide you through your hardships. #TransformYourTrials

What is your heart telling you?

"The mouth speaks what the heart is full of" (Matthew 12:34). If critical and negative words are verbalized, the heart may be bitter and jaded; but if kind and comforting words are spoken, the heart may be filled with love and joy. So, might you consider taking a moment to listen to what your heart is saying and see if it is the heart that you truly want to have, because "your heart above all else..determines the course of your life" (Proverbs 4:23 NLT). #AHeartOfLove

How hard is it to remove your stains?

Some stains are easier to get out than others; but the tougher ones, called sins, need more than just Shout. Jeremiah reminds us that it will take more than "soap" and "an abundance of cleansing powder" (Jeremiah 2:22) to remove sin. Fortunately, the tough ones can be cleansed, as God remarks: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool” (Isaiah 1:18). So, if you need help with the tough ones, might you consider confessing your sins as "he is faithful and just and will forgive [you of your] sins and purify [you] from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). #ConfessThemOut

Why always be present?

When you worry, you miss much and can never get it back. And, if you want to change that, just place your trust in a man who will never "leave" or "forsake" you (Hebrews 13:5); because when you do, you can, with confidence, say that "The Lord is [your] helper; [and you] will not be afraid" (13:6). So, instead of being preoccupied with the unknown, might you decide to embrace every single day and not miss a thing. #DontMissADay & #SeizeEveryMoment
