Whom do you consider as family?
Family is family, no matter the number or bloodline; and wanting to also be a part of your family is Jesus, "the firstborn among many brothers and sisters" (Romans 8:29), and one who "is not ashamed to call [anyone] brothers and sisters" (Hebrews 2:11). So, if you would like to extend your family, might you consider adding Him to it as well. #KeepAddingMembers

How long are you willing to live with a lie?
A lie is hard to hide, as it will eventually surface. But, until it does, it is even harder to live with as your conscious works on you. Until David “acknowledged [his] sin to [God]" (Psalm 32:5), "he kept silent" while his "bones wasted away through [his] groaning all day long" (32:3). So, if you are living with a lie and it is eating you up, might you consider confessing your transgressions to God and then ask him for forgiveness.

How do you forgive?
It is not easy to forgive, but necessary to live and move forward. Helping you to do so is God, as He reminds you to “forgive one another if...you [have] a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13). So, might you consider finding it within yourself to forgive, yourself or another, and do so with "compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience" (3:12). #ForgiveWithLove

What keeps you captive?
Prison cells are created, every day, as they can also be found in your mind, home or work; and the only way out is when you realize that "apart from [him] there is no savior" (Isaiah 43:11). But, when He is involved you "forget the former things" and "do not dwell on the past" (43:18), thereby allowing him to "[remember] your sins no more" (43:25). So, if you want to set yourself free, might you consider allowing Him to "[spring] up" and "[do] a new thing" (43:19) in your life. #FreeYourself

How welcoming are you?
When you open yourself up, you open your heart, and home, and welcome others just like Christ. Noting his hospitality was when He "transfigured before" (Mark 9:2) his disciples, healed a "possessed" (9:17) boy and tried "teaching his disciples" (9:31). So, if you are willing to welcome others, might you do so because your heart wants to, as a welcoming heart honors Him (see 9:37). #Welcome

How big is your appetite?
Not only can food fill you up, but so can "the law of the LORD" (Psalm 119:1), as His words are "sweeter than honey to [your] mouth" (119:103). And, if you taste his food you will "love [his] precepts" (119:159) and "hate and detest falsehood but...love [his] law" (119:163). So, if you are still hungry, might you consider "[tasting] and see that the LORD is good" (34:8). #FeastOnHisWord & #BeSatisfied

How persistent are you?
Both success and struggle will cause you to question your faith, as you will run in to exhaustion, discouragement and disappointment. Remaining determined and refusing to leave was Eleazar, as he "stood his ground...till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword" (2 Samuel 23:10); and in doing so, "the LORD brought about a great victory that day" (23:10). So, whether you are having success or struggling, might you consider reaching for "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Ephesians 6:17), to give you the strength that you need to endure every trial and battle. #DigDeep #RemainTenacious & #BeTheLastOneStanding

How kind are you to yourself and others?
Free and priceless, yet lacking, is showing kindness to ourselves and others. For when we are critical of ourselves and others, we do not consider the impact of our criticism. So, instead, might you always remember what Henry James says: "Three things in human life [that] are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind"; and no matter what, "do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased" (Hebrews 13:16). #AlwaysBeKind

How well do you respond to contrasting opinions?
Just because you disagree with another’s opinion does not mean that you should treat them any differently. Instead, you and I are reminded to “honor one another” (Romans 12:10) and “live in harmony” (12:16) with others. So, “if is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” (12:18). #RespectOneAnother & #AgreeToDisagree❤️
