What battles are you fighting?

Aside from the physical, personal battles are being fought every day. Fighting many and often was Jacob. And, eventually, met a fight that he could not run from. Until Jacob was blessed, he "wrestled with him until daybreak" (Genesis 32:24); and for having "struggled with God and with humans and [overcame]" (32:28), the Lord did as requested. So, whatever battle you are fighting, might you instead arm and surrender yourself to Him, because He is on your side and wants to help you face the personal struggles that you are fighting and resolve them. #FaceThem & #BeBlessed

What kind of relationship you do you have with your parent(s)?

There is nothing like being able to call your parent(s) about your news and needs. Unfortunately, not everyone has this luxury. Although, there is another way. Aside from your biological parents, you and I are "heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ" (Romans 8:17) as "the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship" (8:15). So, you can go to "Abba, [your] Father" (8:15), any time, and talk to him about anything and everything. #GiveHimACall

How wealthy would you like to be?

There are many ways to seek riches, aside from the dollar bill. For when you live a life "according to [His] word" (Psalm 119:9), He will shower you with "great riches" (119:14). So, if you would like to see your money grow exponentially might you consider "[delighting] in [His] decrees" and "not neglect [His] word" (119:16). #LiveAProsperousLife

How often do you celebrate?

Taking moments to unwind and relax and enjoy the accomplishments and company of others are great reasons to celebrate. Receiving "seven days" to "rejoice before the Lord" (Leviticus 23:40) were "all-native born Israelites" (23:42), as they lived in shelters made of "branches from luxuriant trees-from palms, willows and other leafy trees" (23:40) that reminded them of when they "[lived] in temporary shelters when [The Lord] brought them out of Egypt" (23:43). So, whatever the occasion, might you consider taking time to let yourself have some fun, and create memories and traditions along the way. #MakeTheTime & #EnjoyYourself

How well do you do your job?

It is tough to do a job when surrounded by co-workers who constantly politic, cut corners and brownnose. Those who serve well are equipped "for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until [they] reach unity in the faith" (Ephesians 4:12-13). So, instead of seeking ulterior motives, might you do your job by "[speaking] the truth in love" so that "the whole body...grows and builds itself up in love" (4:15-16). #DoItTheRightWay & #BeTheStandard

What do you question or compare?

Many worry about what someone else has or does and/or tries to compare what they have with another. Peter, concerned about another, asked Jesus, "What about [John]?" (John 21:21). Jesus responded with "What is that to you?" (21:22), after John was already told that "[He] must follow [Him]" (21:22). No path or person is the same and worrying about what another has or does is no one's business. So, instead of questioning and comparing your life with another's, might you do what is best for you and follow your own path; and most importantly, "follow [him]" (21:22). #StayInYourOwnLane & #FocusOnYourLife

How loved are you?

In both joy and sorrow, love remains, and never ends. For those who know this are "the beloved" (Deteuronomy 33:12), because they know that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son" (John 3:16). So, instead of questioning if you are loved, might you look to "rest secure in him" (33:12) and know just how much you are. #AlwaysLoved

What needs restoring?

Whatever the destruction, it can be put back together. Willing to help you do so is someone who can "turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs" (Isaiah 41:18) when "the poor and needy search for water, [and] there is none" (41:17). So, if you are in need of a reliable and trustworthy hand, might you consider seeking The One who can restore anything and make it even better than it was before it was broken or destroyed. #Reclaim #Rebuild & #Recover

What is your destination; and how will you reach it?

Life is a journey filled with disappointment, challenges, difficulties, and uncertainty; but even so you can navigate through them with faith. Doing so and being blessed was Abel (Hebrews 11:4), Enoch (11:5), Noah (11:7), Abraham (11:8), Isaac and Jacob (11:9) and Sara (11:11). So, as you take your pilgrimage might you consider taking Him with you while you trek through life. #AFruitfulAndFaithfulJourney

What can you take from another?

So much can be taken and exchanged from one another. Boomers, Gen Xers, Millenials, and so on, have something to offer. Exchanging help to one another was Naomi and Ruth. Ruth, the younger, offered to “go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain” (Ruth 2:2), while the older, Naomi, helped Ruth become Boaz's "wife” (4:10 NIV). No matter the age, we can help one another. So, if you want to continue to grow, might you consider expanding your social network. #EmbraceAgeDifferences & #UseWhatWorks
