How do you love those who are hard to love?

Even those who are selfish, disrespectful, hurtful and mean deserve to be loved; and reminding you of this is 1 Corinthians 13:5. He says: “For love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs”. So, might you consider taking a moment, breathe, and also know that "a person's wisdom yields patience; [and] it is to one's glory to overlook an offense" (Proverbs 19:11).  #Love & #GraceAlways❤️

How often do you look back?

Looking back has a tendency to reopen old wounds and can cause you to get stuck or lost. Paul also warned believers of looking behind, and told them that he "[forgets] what lies behind and [strains] forward to what lies ahead...[pressing] on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14 ESV). So, might you, too, focus on what is in front of you and leave what is behind you in the rearview mirror. #Excelsior #UpwardAndOnwardToGreaterGlory

How are your needs met?

Prayer is one way of receiving the help that you need when you need it; and needing help was David. In David's time of need he asked God to remind him how "brief [his] time on earth [would] be" and how his "days [were] numbered-how fleeting [his] life [was]" (Psalm 39:4 NLT). Then, after that, David said "[His] hope is in" God (39:7), thereby asking God to "hear [his] prayer" and "listen to [his] cry for help" and "not be deaf to [his] weeping" (39:12). As a result, God was not and answered David because he was true and faithful. So, might you, too, consider prayer and His Word, and see how he can meet your needs. #RemainConfident & #Constant

What belongings or needs do you share with others?

Everyone can use some help. Many, including Moses (see Exodus 4), Daniel (see Daniel 6) and Adam (see Genesis 2:18) needed help, too, and received it. So, whether it be to give or receive, might you humbly (see James 4:6) seek "counsel" of "many advisers" (Proverbs 15:22) and "carry each other's burdens" (Galatians 6:2). For when you do, everyone benefits from each other's "possessions and goods" (Acts 2:45). #HumblyGive & #HumblyReceive

What can happen?

Anything and everything is possible, if you believe. For the Lord promises that one day there will be "new heavens and a new earth" (Isaiah 65:17) where “the wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox” (65:25). So, if you want to be part of a friendly, loving, peaceful and safe place, you might consider seeking Him for he is preparing a place for "those who love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9). #EndlessPossibilities

What precautions do you take when helping others?

If you allow it, more than not will take advantage of you, as people prey on the kindness and generosity of others. When this happens, The Word reminds you to "watch yourself" and make sure you are not getting "tempted" in to the sin yourself (Galatians 6:1 & see Matthew 22:39). For "the prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going to pay the penalty" (Proverbs 22:3). So, might you consider being prudent and not simple. #SetHealthyBoundaries

What talent(s) have you been blessed with?

Everyone possesses a talent; and, yet, there are some still trying to find theirs. For Moses, his talent came in the form of "a staff" (Exodus 4:2) that turned in to a snake after he "[threw] it on the ground" (4:3) and then back in to a staff (see 4:4). Doing so was for the Israelites to see and "to believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob-[had] appeared to [them]" (4:5). So, if you have yet to find your talent, might you start with asking yourself "What is that in your hand?" (4:2) and go from there. #FindIt & #HonorHim

How just are you?

Injustice and hypocrisy fill and cripple society, thereby making it very difficult for people to survive and thrive. Also experiencing such maleficence were Israelites, as their own "[sold] the innocent for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals" (Amos 2:16), "[trampled] on the heads of the poor", and "[denied] justice to the oppressed" (2:7). So, might you chose to "seek good, [and] not evil, [so] that you may live" (5:14); and if you do, "then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, jus as you say he is" (5:14). #DoRightByOthers

What are you willing to wait for?

Waiting is never easy, but sometimes necessary. Abraham struggled with being patient too, as he waited to receive an heir to continue his legacy of leading "a great nation" (Genesis 12:2); and after twenty-five years, at "a hundred years old", Abraham's "son Isaac was born to him" (Genesis 21:5). So, if you, too, are struggling with the wait, might you, while waiting, remain steadfast in prayer and have faith in His plans. For when the time is right, He will answer you. #GoodThingsComeToThoseWhoWait

How well do you blend in?

When success or recognition occurs, much jealousy and hate appears; and when this happens, there is no reason for you to apologize, back down, blend in, or camouflage yourself. In order to continue with any success, you are encouraged to look to His word and "[obey]" (John 17:6). For when you do, He will "protect [you] from the evil one" (17:15) and help you live out your purpose, just as he did for His Disciples (see 17:16-19). #DontHide #Share & #ShowWhatYouCanDo #NoShame
