ANW's Tuesday Takeaway's
What behaviors serve you well?
Arrogance is foolishness; and humility is honor. And, putting these two behaviors into context, at a wedding feast, was Christ. He told the guests to "take the lowest place", instead of "the place of honor" (Luke 14:8-10); and for doing so, they "[would] be exalted" (Luke 14:11). So, may you always choose honor over ego, as it will never fail you. #RemainHumble #LastAndLowly

ANW's Meaningful Monday's
What wrongs do you need to amend?
There is no justification for any wrongdoing, only admittance and amendment, if possible. Wrong is wrong; and seeking forgiveness for his many wrongs (see 2 Kings 21:3, 16; 2 Chronicles 33:3, 6) was Manessah. It was "when he prayed to...the LORD [that he] was moved" (2 Chronicles 33:13); and in doing so, God “brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom” (2 Chronicles 33:12-13). From then on, Manessah worked to undo every wrong he committed (see 2 Chronicles 33:10-17). So, if you need to make amends for your wrongdoings, might you, too, pray, ask for forgiveness, and do right by all. #MakingWrongsRight

ANW's Savory Sunday's
What do the hard seasons produce?
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1); and when the seasons are hard they "make known to [you] the path of life" (Psalm 16:11), and, also, "fill [you] with joy" (16:11). So, instead of surrendering to them, "take refuge" (16:1) and embrace what they are teaching you. #HardSeasonsProduceProsperousPaths

ANW's Soulful Saturday's
What do you do with the trials and tribulations that you face?
Trials and Tribulations provide you with a personalized road map with priceless information that you cannot get anywhere except through experience, as each one speaks, leads, and directs you to the path that you seek. Paul embraced and harnessed every one, because "what...happened to [him]...served to advance the gospel" (Philippians 1:12) and gave him "the same mindset as Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:5). So, when the challenges come, might you use them, like Paul. For each one will provide a useful piece of information towards the journey that you have set out to find for yourself. #PurposefulNavigation & #PiecesOfYourPath

ANW's Fruitful Friday's
What ingredients sustain your conversations?
Some conversations require certain ingredients to keep them going; and when they don't, they go flat, like a soufflé, when not prepared properly. In order to know how "to give an answer to everyone who asks you" (1 Peter 3:15), Peter says to "let your conversation be always full of grace, [and] seasoned with salt" (Colossians 4:6). So, may every conversation you have be filled "with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15).

ANW's Thoughtful Thursday's
What can you hear and how can you remain focused amongst the noise?
Life can be very noisy, but you can still hear, even a "gentle whisper" (1 Kings 19:12). This is how God spoke to Elijah, instead of sending a "great and strong wind" (19:11), "an earthquake" (19:11), or a "fire" (19:12) like He has before. So, if you need some help filtering the daily noise, might you tune in to the "small voice" (19:12), His Word. #Focus & #Filter

ANW's Wisdom Wednesday's
How sound is your foundation?
Trust is built on truth; and when the truth is bent so does the foundation; and with more untruths, the more unstable the foundation becomes. Wanting to keep your foundation structurally sound is God; and if you are willing to put your trust in Him, “[He] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; [and] will counsel you with [his] loving eye,” (Psalm 32:8). So, might you "[trust] in him" (32:10) and see how strong your foundation becomes and remains. #ATrustBuiltFoundation #RRRChallengeYourself

ANW's Takeaway Tuesday's
How hopeful and faithful are you?
Hopefulness and Faithfulness always gives you a fighting chance. Remaining hopeful and faithful were Caleb and Joshua. They both followed God "wholeheartedly" (Joshua 14:9) to "take possession of the land" (Numbers 13:30) that many felt was impossible to obtain due to the cities being too "powerful" and "fortified" (Numbers 13:28). So, no matter the staggering odds or challenges, when you remain hopeful and faithful, He delivers.

What behaviors do you emulate?
Your actions and behaviors are learned and discerned through observation and imitation; and encouraging you how to behave is Paul. He warns you to not imitate the "idle", "disruptive", or the "busybodies" (2 Thessalonians 3:6, 11). Instead, "follow [his] example" (1 Corinthians 11:1) and "never tire of doing what is good" (2 Thessalonians 3:13). So, may you always be willing to work for everything by "[following] the example of Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1). #EmulateWhatIsGood & #SetTheStandard

How are your laments being met?
Lamenting can be taxing and exhausting; and can debilitate and a shorten your life. But, when you share the load with someone who can help ease your pain and burdens, they will give you the needed tools to get through them. So, whatever the complaint, grief, or regret, know that "His mercies never cease" (Lamentations 3:22 NLT), "because of [His] great love" (3:22) for you. #CeaselessHelp & #MeetingAllOfYourNeeds
