ANW's Soulful Saturday's

What keeps you focused?

When distracted, focus is lost; and keeping Joshua focused was God. When God told Joshua to "get ready" (Joshua 1:2) to take Moses's place, He instructed Joshua to "be strong and very courageous. [And] Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you" (1:7). So, when it is your turn to step up, like Joshua, may you always be prepared and ready to go, and if there is any chance that you might get distracted, just keep your eyes on Jesus (see Hebrews 12:2 NLT). #RemoveTheDistractions & #RemainFocused

ANW's Fruitful Friday's

What keeps you walking and stepping?

Within your life's walk, there will be steps aka "trials" that will "[test] your faith" (James 1:2-3); and "whenever you face [them]", consider [each one]...pure joy" (James 1:2). For each one "produces perseverance" (1:3), along with maturity and completeness so you lack nothing (see 1:4). May you remain committed to your faithful walk, and, one day, "receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised" (James 1:12) you. #FaithFilledSteps

ANW's Thoughtful Thursday's

How do you remove the toxins?

Toxins, if not addressed immediately, will multiply and destroy anything in close proximity or gets in their way. One such toxin is sin; and no matter how you try to justify, excuse, or conceal it, it "does not prosper" (Proverbs 28:13). But, "if [you] confess [your] sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive...and purify [you]" (1 John 1:9). So, if you are surrounded by a toxin or existing toxins, might you considering addressing them right away; and if unable to extract them, remove yourself from the environment or harms way.

ANW's Wisdom Wednesday's

What is your limit?

Endless forgiveness is not easy to do, even for Peter. Peter asked Jesus “How many times must I forgive him . . . seven times?”; and Jesus replied "you must forgive him more than seven times. You must forgive him even if he wrongs you seventy times seven” (Matthew 18:21-22 NCV). As absurd as this seems, He wants you and I to have "mercy" on our "fellow servant" just as He has "mercy" on us (18:33). #WhateverItTakes

ANW's Takeaway Tuesday's

How big is your heart?

A heart can change relationships, especially among foreigners; and doing just that is God, who shows "no partiality and accepts no bribes" (Deuteronomy 10:17), because he loves and cares for everyone (see 10:18); and wants you to do the same, because you, too, "were foreigners in Egypt" (10:19). So, instead of ignoring, passing by, or being in too big of a hurry, might you "circumcise your [heart]" (10:16) and turn a foreigner in to a friend.

ANW's Meaningful Monday's

How clean or dirty are your dishes?

Dishes get dirty; and when they do, they need to be cleaned. Dirtying their dishes, with hypocrisy and piety, were Pharisees and teachers of the law. Both “neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness” (Matthew 23:23), and were reminded by Christ to get themselves clean (see 23:25-26). So, when your dishes get dirty, might you "first clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean" (23:25-26).

ANW's Savory Sunday's

What evidence do you need to believe?

It can be hard to believe in something or someone without any information to back it up; and even that may not be enough. Struggling to believe, while alive, then crucified and resurrected (see John 18:15-17, 25-27), were Jesus's disciples, despite everything He did for them. So, when someone shows up for you, every day, keeps their promises, and still loves you despite yourself, blemishes and all, that is more than enough evidence; and if you need more, you can just ask Him in prayer and He will answer any questions that you may have openly and honestly. #AllTheProofThatYouNeed

ANW's Soulful Saturday's

How well do your clothes fit?

Being comfortable in your own skin is confidence in who you are; and exudes itself even more when you are clothed "with garments of salvation" (Isaiah 61:10). So, if you want to gain confidence or remain confident in everything that you wear, might you always put on the "robe of his righteousness" (61:10). #ClothedWithConfidenceAndStyle

ANW's Fruitful Friday's

How visible are you?

Hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and work behind the scenes never goes unnoticed, as He sees everything you do. Also noticing "two other men, both criminals" (Luke 23:32) was Jesus. As they were all getting ready "to be executed" (23:32), one of the men asked Jesus to "remember [him] when [he goes] into [his] kingdom" (23:42); and Jesus replied that "[he would] be with [him] in paradise" (23:43). So, however insignificant, invisible, or nonexistent your presence and actions seem, always know and remember that you are significant, visible, and do exist.
