Anna, in suggesting, perhaps from an UAE perspective in part, to  "tax their citizens to make the whole system work much better" am wondering about taxable UBI experiments and information technologies, perhaps to develop better working nation state IT infrastructure in all ~200 countries / and in their official / main languages.

Sindhuja, regarding making education "more social and collaborative" - and besides wiki and group video, how about sharing ideas about this in wiki-conversations, for how this might work on-the-ground in face-to-face in person too?

Regarding moral leadership, how we redefine success, and who benefits, what about also reframing our definition of success and building from there in taking moral leadership to YouTube and Twitter, as well, in particular? I was curious in your panel discussion about a role for moral leadership on the web (and in teaching a course on the Network Society, Information Technology and the Global University - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/InfoTechNetworkSocGlobalUniv.html - which is somewhat UC Berkeley Manuel Castells' informed).

1If you're talking about code for You at World Univ & Sch - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/You_at_World_University (and maybe a Wikidata PIN # combined with WikiTree's planning for a single family tree, will inform this code further) - spreadsheets are a good jumping off place. Social security number / tax ID number would be good places to begin in the US too (and corresponding info in Sri Lanka) ... but probably emails and telephone numbers to begin with make sense. Congratulations on beginning the translation of Tamil language World University and School. Please remember at this point that WUaS would seek to reach out to Tamil speakers (18 year olds?) in Sri Lanka who speak English well enough to matriculate at University online. 2Please think in terms of a matriculating Sri Lanka WUaS student on September 1 taking 4 edX courses, which they simply sign onto for free - and perhaps click a box saying their matriculating as a WUaS student (making the course free, and indicating perhaps their commitment to a 4 year free-to-students' Bachelor degree program) - from anywhere in Sri Lanka (and Sri Lanka has 22 million people / citizens), from their laptops, from home. In this scenario edX courses would be free, and the prospective students would already have their broadband Wi Fi and computers at home (and paid for). WUaS will seek to make arrangements with the Sri Lankan government's department of Education, or all Sri Lankan counties' departments of education. (What's a county or similar called in Sri Lanka in Sinhala? - ප්‍රාන්තය or prāntaya ?)
If you know of an institute with toppers - high achieving Sri Lankan high school students (I assume) - which might be a source of students for WUaS - please think in terms of the edX - WUaS model above. So, students sign on to an edX course and get a certificate for free if they complete it and continue to study as a matriculated student at WUaS toward free-to-students' Bachelor degrees (for 4 years) from home (since students graduate from institutes, and pandemics occasionally happen +). Perhaps in signing on for a WUaS -edX Bachelor degree program for 4 years (at an institute) and indicating they'll need a laptop and broadband from home soon, WUaS can facilitate this. (I don't know Sri Lanka, but enormous numbers of Sri Lankan WUaS students could overwhelm a single institute; personal laptops will allow WUaS to scale, grow and reach many Sri Lankan students with best STEM CC-4 OpenCourseWare-centric degrees).
3Departments of Education in Sri Lanka, I would think, made a public education system function (for better and worse? - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_Sri_Lanka) At WUaS, Sri Lankan students who, brainstorming-wise, sign on for edX courses they're interested in on or around September 1, 2020 will be able to matriculate (at first, and probably for a long time to come). edX CEO Anant Agarwal is a major voice for blended learning - https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/blended-learning-new-normal-heres-why-anant-agarwal/ - and WUaS collaborating with edX will enable certain aspects of blended learning, but the beauty of MIT OCW and edX is that they can be studied and learnt from home, free from schools. 1I meant the format of the actual code. Eg: VT001 or SL0000000001. Also have you considered using the SSID /NIC or Passport No as a unique code. The Tamil homepage is also done but I am not very good at the language. MERLOT e-library system can be acquired by universities for free. Please check on that.

Just to clarify WUaS does not request fees for the degree from students. They are actually paying their institute for broadband facilities in a classroom environment. WUaS is only requesting a donation from the institutes for offering the degree free. This is optional.

The allocated budgets are low and a major part ends up in corruption which is a major problem in developing countries. Majority who get selected for universities do not get a seat due to this. We are actually making a gradual transition to e-learning by providing blended learning and engaging students as learning from home might go away with the end of the pandemic.

Hi Taylor,

Perhaps we can play around a bit experimentally with these new approaches to learning with 'quasi-metronomes.' These (Scottish drumming rhythms) are complex, and interesting, and I found it helpful first just to sing the main note from a 2/4 March or a 6/8 March, beat my left and right feet as if marching too, and also tap my hand to get the pulse (and not playing a tune with on the Scottish Small Pipes).
Brainstorming-wise, and newly, it might be fun to create Lego Mindstorms' robots as Scottish drummers playing such rhythms - almost as prompts for one's own music-making - and then, out of the box, even to code such hypothetically Mindstorms' robots to move from this drumming into Grateful Dead drumming (as prompts too), Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzman, workable with piping music. (I'm only making occasional robots with the simpler Lego Robotics' kit We Do 2.0, so this thinking is currently in the envisioning phase :). 
Haven't yet been able to find strathspey and reel 'metronomic' Scottish drumming yet, and re this evening's

There's a lot of rock and roll in this Gordon Duncan in video playing his "Thunderstruck" - and with both the tune (riffing with AC / DC) and what follows here, he's doing something so new and creative in bagpiping, and at an amazing tempo ... rock start on bagpipe-guitar in a kilt and Prince Charles doublet in Scotland at the Piping Centre in Glasgow ... what is going on here? Go figure :)

It's interesting how the guitar in that second link almost mimics the beat of the highland drums.

Once I checked myself and put my prejudice against new agey music aside, the low whistle counterpart was actually pretty neat too. I wouldn't think such a quiet mellow instrument would pair well with the phiob mhor. Great dotted notes and birls on the part of the piper there too.

I played around a bit with that recording of Green Hills. Getting an ear for highland drumming might take some practice; the syncopated beats can make one a bit unsure if they're keeping time correctly.

There's gotta be a market out there for this type of irregular metronome. I'm not much of a coder but I'll check that link out at some point.

Appreciating your language and insights for some of these videos and quasi metronomes. It took me about 3 goes to find, and play with, the beat with the last 6/8 march video played by drum corp (https://youtu.be/6pdxlwK6vZg) from Scotland. (They drum faster than I usually play lovely swinging 6/8 marches - which faster tempo, played well, I think would add to a kind of elation for the listener; explore downloading BPM Tap, or BPM Counter etc., and in addition to 'marching' with your left and right feet, singing the pulse notes in each bar, try tapping your finger/hand and with one of these Apps and see what the bpm of Green Hills of Tyrol is, and compare with Bruce Wright's GHB tempos for 3/4 marches - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/02/western-honey-bee-re-my-upcoming-honey.html). A kind of metronomic beat is implicit in all these Scottish drum videos (re the regular tick idea of a metronome). Appreciating, too, Ali's whistle (not a sound I always gravitate toward) as alto voice, and touching on both ceol beag (Gordon Duncan tune played by Ross) and ceol mor (Ali Hutton playing part of an urlar, or ground, from a piobaireachd) too. 
Here's some innovative not quasi-metronomic Scottish(-Australian too) drumming to riff with: Scottish Drumming - Tyler Fry and James Laughlin playing a pipe band drum solo - improvisation!

But with the syncopation, and the other Scottish drumming rhythmic aspects, of Gordon Bell's Green Hills of Tyrol, can one further 'one' with the dot-cuts, or tachums (a word from canntaireachd), between the notes (and with 16th notes, and 32nd notes +) ? ... Am exploring ~ and Stuart Liddell is an inspiration, but am also seeking to come unglued, and innovate anew, finding my own sound, with Gordon Duncan as inspiration.

Your mentioning the high ground where you live re fireworks on 7/4 tomorrow reminded me als of HAI workshops which have a base at Harbin (and which I explore only a bit in my 1st book), and which the virus may also be shutting down. Am curious about the CA discourse ahead re shutting down such for years, and how also Stanford Medicine, Stanford and companies too, could use HAI workshops at Harbin (and virtually too!!) as an unique CA incentive re cultural connecting and for its faculty + even. Hmmm ... something more virus-wise to think about - thanks. :) Pretty flowers out here on the level way right now walking. Am hoping my kids might partly grow up in Pgh with you!!!
