August 4th 2024 Update

Temple of the Sun is up to about 50,000 words! I took a day off this week to try to deal with some bookkeeping and other chores, as well as to write up an art brief for the book. I’m waiting to hear back from the artist at this point.

July 28th 2024 Update

Temple of the Sun is up to about 40,000 words, and coming along well. I like how it’s turning out! Life’s been a bit difficult lately, so I’m hoping it calms down a little. Regardless, it’s going well.

The audiobook of Seed of Chaos came out this past week as well! I hope those of you who’ve listened to or are listening to it enjoy it! I haven’t heard too much about it as of yet, but the one person who’s talked to me about it seems pretty happy.

July 21st 2024 Update

So! Talyn: Repose has done decently this first week. Not amazing, but I’m not going to begrudge decent results. Based on what I’ve seen, for the most part people have liked it, to my relief! It turned out very different than I expected.

This week is the audiobook release of Seed of Chaos as well! I’m excited to see what people think of it, as well as the insanity involved in the book. Syndy exists, after all, and Evelyn has… issues.

July 7th 2024 Updates

Several things to share today! First and foremost, I’ve begun writing the next book of Through the Fire, currently under the title Temple of the Sun! I’m tempted to alter it somewhat to get rid of ‘of the’, but haven’t decided yet. I probably won’t, as most of the options I see wouldn’t be much better. At present, it has about 7,500 words, which isn’t a bad start, considering I worked over a holiday, and spent two days reviewing previous books.

July Releases

I’ve got two releases coming out this month, one audiobook, one ebook! Let’s start with the ebook, since it comes out first.

 Talyn: Repose comes out on July 22nd! This is book 4 of the series, and I’m looking forward to seeing what people think! It’s honestly relatively restful for Talyn, compared to the last couple of books. If I get it back from the editor soon enough, I’ll move it to July 15th. Amazon.com link below!

June 16th 2024 Update

Yes, I’m back from my trip! Unfortunately, me and my wife were accompanied by an uninvited guest, and this last week was almost entirely dominated by us being sick. I have no idea how long it’ll last (COVID sucks), but I’m doing my best to get Talyn: Repose edited. I’m not far into the book at present, but assuming I can focus enough, I should finish and get it to the editor by my self-imposed deadline of the 28th. If I can, and that’s a significant if, I’ll be publishing it on July 22nd.

May 26th 2024 Update

Just as forewarning, I’ll be gone on vacation next week and the following Sunday, so may or may not give an update.

I completed the rough draft of Talyn: Repose, and the book is with my alpha team! It’s a bit over 150,000 words, which is more than I expected. It’s going well, which makes me happy!
