October 21st 2024 Update

Alright, I’ve received the final cover art for Temple of the Sun! This was illustrated by Mario Wibisono, and I think it’s stunning!

I’m currently about halfway through my last editing pass before sending it off to the editor to get a final overview of the book, so I’m sure I’ll be getting it done in good order. I’m really excited to get it into all of your hands!

October 16th 2024 Update

I’m back from my trip! I’m still a bit under the weather due to jet lag, and I might be slightly ill, but I’m not sure on that front. The trip to Ireland was lovely, and I enjoyed it a great deal. I hope to start the final editing pass of Temple of the Sun tomorrow, and I’m feeling a little out of sorts, so I’ll share a few pictures and comments before resting.

September 30th 2024 Update

Several things to go over this week! First and foremost, alpha readers have been going over Temple of the Sun, and while there’s been a few comments about tweaks I might need to make, the overall reception is positive! September 23rd 2024 Update

I’ve completed the rough draft of Temple of the Sun, with about 143,000 words. I’m planning to do a basic editing pass in the coming couple of days, then share it with my alpha readers to get feedback. Once I’m back from my Ireland trip, I intend to do the main editing pass, then send it to my editor.

Unfortunately, the art is significantly behind schedule, so I don’t have a pre-order up yet. I’m a little concerned, but don’t have any information to work off of at the moment, so can’t update ...

September 16th 2024 Update

Temple of the Sun is up to ~127,500 words, and closing on the end of the book. I hope to finish in the next couple of days, but since my books have been going long recently, I expect it’ll probably be closer to the end of the week. Regardless, the cover art is in-progress, and I’m getting close with the rough draft, so it’s coming along well!

Temple of the Sun is up to ~112,500 words! It’s taking some detours I hadn’t expected, but I’m really enjoying this section of the book, and hope that all of you will as well when it’s out.

Moving on to another subject, I finished the second book of my Embers of War story I mentioned a while back. I’m thankful, since it’s been a constant drain on my inspiration. September 2nd 2024 Updates

The audiobook of Obelisk of Blood is out tomorrow! You can find it via This Link, which will be updated as Audible and other sites put them up, or on many other audiobook websites. I’m super-excited to see what people think of it.

Now, as for the next book, Temple of the Sun! I’m at about 100,000 words, and expect to finish within the next three weeks, likely with a bit less than 130,000 words. I’m hoping to publish the book near the beginning of November, but I’ll wait until the cover art...

August 26th 2024 Update

Okay, it’s weird shifting when I’m putting up my posts after about seven years of aiming for Sundays. Still, I think it’s for the best!

Temple of the Sun is up to ~87,500 words, and is going really well. I’ve also gotten back the first sketch for its cover art, which needed a few alterations but was otherwise stunning, and I’m incredibly excited to see what people think of it once it’s done.

First off, I want to inform you that starting next week, I’m going to shift the day I do my updates. I’ve been doing updates on my Newsletter and Patreon on Mondays, but since I started with Sundays originally on the website, I’ve been sticking with that until now. No more! Now all the updates will come out at the same time! Assuming I remember, anyway.

Temple of the Sun is up to about 62,500 words! I’m not sure exactly how long it’s going to be, but currently I feel like I’m at about the halfway point. We’ll see how it goes. I’ve ordered cover art as well, and I’m stoked to see how that turns out! Mario Wibisono will be doing the art, and probably will start this week.
