April 30th 2023 Update

Talyn: Unyielding is up to about 82,500 words. A little less than I’d hoped, but one of the days this week was not conducive to writing. It’s really unfortunate, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Some days it just seems like nothing goes right.

April 23rd 2023 Update

Talyn: Unyielding is up to about 72,000 words, and coming along well. I really don’t have a lot of information to share other than that. I need to order artwork for it, and hopefully it’ll be good! I just need to figure out the details.

April 16th 2023 Update

Talyn: Unyielding is up to about 60,000 words, and I think it’s coming along well! Slower than I anticipated, but that’s to be expected in a series that I consider to be ~80% slice of life or more. I wouldn’t expect it to be an incredibly specific plot, because that isn’t what I intended for the series.

Beyond that, I don’t have a lot to say at the moment. Things are pretty quiet for me, which is a relief. I hope you all have a great week!

April 9th 2023 Update

Talyn: Unyielding is up to about 47,500 words, and coming along nicely. It’s probably going to be on the longer side, simply because there’s so many things to cover in the book at the same time, but we’ll see what happens in the end. I’ve given myself a personal deadline of getting it out by mid-August, but with any luck it’ll be sooner than that.

April 2nd 2023 Update

The first week for Dawn of Chaos went pretty well, as far as I’m concerned! Not amazing, but rather well. I’m going to be sending the manuscript off to Podium tomorrow, so hopefully the audiobook doesn’t take too long.

March 26th 2023 Update

Dawn of Chaos comes out tomorrow! I’m both excited and terrified, so… more of the usual, really. I didn’t intend to have the story be so focused when I started Chosen of Chaos, so I expect for the plot of subsequent books to be less linear, and more episodic in nature in coming volumes. Yes, I have at least one more book in mind for the series. Probably more, but we’ll see.

March 19th 2023 Update

I got to work on Talyn: Unyielding this past week, and it’s currently up to about 12,500 words. Not a huge number, but it’s getting moving! I expect to be slightly curtailed this coming week due to getting Dawn of Chaos ready to publish, but that’s normal enough. It’s not going to be for certain, though. March 12th 2023 Update

The editor is working on Dawn of Chaos, but unfortunately the cover art isn’t done yet, so I don’t have the pre-order up yet. As I’m getting impatient, I’ll likely put up a placeholder cover instead to get things moving, which will happen in the next few days. Mostly it’s a question of when Amazon decides to let the pre-order go up.
