The Initiation

Rite of passage. You’re going somewhere sacred.

There is a temple in India that looks terrifying from the outside, but inside it is filled with jewels and is one of the most loving places imaginable. This represents the journey that the soul pilgrim is required to take to reach somewhere sacred. But only the initiated can enter. Perhaps that’s where you are right now. You are being tested, initiated because you are headed somewhere sacred.

Initiations require that we cross the threshold from one world or state of being to the next. We are called to face what scares us and have to be willing to lose it all, in order to gain a new way of being, of safety, of security, of depth, of meaning.

Initiations, like rites of passage, mark the shift from one age to the next, and can take place because of emotional turmoil, great loss, grief, or devastation. But it is through the seeming hardship that our heart cracks open and our spirit is invested to step forward. We take the sacred voyage into more of who we are and who we came here to be. It can be painful and scary, but once we begin the journey, we can be more ourselves than ever before.

If you are in the middle of an initiation right now, you will get through it and one day soon, you will bless the thing that broke you down and cracked you open because the world needs you open. You are going somewhere sacred. It will be worth it. And you’re closer than you think.

Wait

It’s not yet time. Things are being woven.

In our fast, loud, reactive, comparative world, where an instant response is so often expected and at times even a currency, it can feel almost impossible to take a breath, let alone give ourselves the space to rest, wait, and reset. We’re so often in overdrive, expecting instantaneous results over and over again. And when guidance doesn’t come at these extreme speeds, it can feel as though something’s gone wrong.

But often, not receiving guidance is guidance in itself. When you ask for guidance and don’t receive it, it can often mean wait.It’s not yet time.

Our challenge is to keep trusting when, on the surface, it appears that nothing’s happening. To remember that no matter how long or bitter the winter, spring does always come. To remember that you don’t need to solve all of the world’ problems in a single day – and that perhaps they’ll be better solved with some perspective and a good night’s sleep.

This card is your permission to slip, to slow down, switch off, and rest. You’re being reminded to have patience and to trust the mystery of life. To trust that things are being woven on your behalf. It may not be happening to the timeline you’d like but if you gather up the patience, it’ll be orchestrated better than you can ever imagine.

Council of Light

Divine orchestration. Helpers in the subtle realms.

The Council of Light is a team of benevolent beings who are here to assist the raising of consciousness of the planet. They are here to help you achieve your soul mission, and are guiding you every step of the way. However, because we live in a world where freewill reigns, they cannot help you without your permission. If you would like their assistance, it is time to ask them.

They can help with all kinds of requests – nothing is too big or too small. Think of them as your personal team of helpers in the spirit realm. They are willing and ready to step in and get to work; what would you like help with? What tasks would you like to delegate to them?

The Council of Light is a team of ascended masters, light beings, angels, and guides devoted to the rising of Earth and all humanity. If you are a Lightworker, it is from them that you receive your personal mission. Like a spirit world United Nations, they want to thank you so much for doing this work and devoting your life to uplifting the planet.

Pray to them for clarity and guidance regarding your personal mission. Put in your requests and let them get to work.

The Void

Stop. Embrace winter. Great cosmic womb.

Everything and nothing exists in the Void. It’s where all life begins and ends. It’s the winter and the womb. The fertile darkness where all things originate and all seeds grow. Comforting and intimidating. Freeing and daunting. It can feel both overwhelmingly small and huge. The Void is where faith lives.

The message of the Void is to surrender to the unknown. To allow the fertile darkness of nothingness to nourish the new seeds growing within you. Regardless of whether you know what they’ll one day become. You’re being called to surrender to the mystery of what’s next. To rest, and to allow the winter of your life to do the work for you. To hand over your control and trust that just because you can’t see what’s happening beneath the surface, it doesn’t mean things aren’t at work.

The greatest weavings happen when we find a way to surrender and trust that our life is being knitted for us. Right beneath the surface. In ways known and unknowable. Now is the time to cultivate faith and allow deep deep rest.

The Void often surfaces at the end of a chapter or life phase. When we’re called to let go of all that we know and identify with. When you’re in the Void it can feel scary – and as if you should be ‘doing’ something. However, when this card appears it’s a sure sign that the most productive thing to do is relinquish control and surrender to the changing mystery of your life.

Soul Family

Call in your tribe. You don’t have to do it alone.

It is time to call in your soul family and support team. People who get you at soul level. People who are the same kind of weird as you. People who are your chosen family. They are coming and they are looking for you.

If you haven’t found them yet this is a sign that they are close by. But in order for them to find you and recognize you when they do, it is important that you stop dimming your light and truly let yourself be seen.

If you have already found them, then you are being called to let them support you and perhaps also assemble a wider support team. Your support team can consist of all types of people, such as a therapist, coach, mentor, or healer. Tune in to what kind of support you need now.

Trust the Timing

Trust the wave you came in on. Time’s not running out.

So often, those who feel like they’re here for a reason sense that time is running out and they spend their life worrying that they might miss their moment. But the only way to miss your life or your moment is to spend your time worrying about missing it. It’s never too late to answer a calling and you’re never too old.

The tides of your life are magnificently orchestrated to come in and out in perfect unison. Don’t race ahead and ride a wave that was never meant for you. You’ll waste your precious time and energy when instead, you could be enjoying your life. Everything has a season and you’re being called to trust the one you’re in. Don’t let impatience, or comparison, competition, or paranoia disturb the seeds.

It seems that everyone has anxiety these days, constantly scanning for something they might have missed or a possible threat. Keeping our mind and body pointed in the same direction as our soul is near impossible at such reactive speeds. Right now, you’re being reminded to take a breath and trust the wave you came in on. To trust the season you’re in. Time isn’t running out. There’s plenty of time. There’s no rush and it’s never too late.

Share Your Voice

Come out of the cave. Persecution. Expression.

You are being called to share your voice, perhaps by speaking up in a relationship or through writing, speaking, singing, or some other form of creative expression.

We each hold a truth deep within us that longs to be expressed. Sculpted for lifetimes, the voice of your soul is like no other. It carries with it wisdom that can only be gained through soul history and growth. By remembering, tapping into, and expressing this unique tone we not only heal ourselves, we also heal the planet at large.

When you share your voice, you unlock something in the Universe and call a missing piece of you home. Your individual voice is the most powerful sound current on the planet. If you have kept your soul’s voice silenced or held back, chanting or singing could be truly life-changing for you.

As we shed the layers of our personality and start letting our unique soul speak through us, we discover that we actually have a very clear message that longs to be shared. The more we speak it, the clearer it gets.

There has never been a better time in history than right now to rise up, speak your truth, and share your soul’s voice. If you feel fearful, know that you are not alone and that the world needs your unique tone in order to harmonize. As we each rise up and share our song, we make it easier for the next person to do the same.

Surrender to the Sweetness of Life

Venus energy. Pleasure. Joy. Make love to life.

This is a sensual, highly feminine card. It’s a call to surrender to the sweetness of life. To let the everabundant feminine take over. To taste the fruits you’ve been working so hard to grow. To let your senses take over and really drink in your life with wonder. To get intoxicated on the simple bounty that this planet has to offer and which you have within you when your well is full.

The ancient Babylonians connected the feminine goddess Ishtar to the planet Venus, and in Roman mythology Venus was the goddess of love and beauty. In our night sky, aside from the moon, Venus shines the brightest.

Time is our most precious resource, and it’s the greatest healer. If you’ve been all work and no play, this is a sign to take some time out. To reconnect with your lover, play with your children, and give yourself the luxury of time without an agenda.

Many of us are so busy building our lives that we forget to enjoy them. We forget why we decided to build them in the first place. Disconnection from the sweetness causes more pain than we realize. So many of us walk into soulless buildings five days a week in the name of survival. We strive to build the life of our dreams but drive ourselves to exhaustion. This card is wooing you back to the pleasures of being human. To focusing on what really matters and enjoying your incredible life.

Star Mother

How can you Mother yourself?

You are more held than you could possibly imagine. Loved and cherished so dearly that, if you knew, you would not spend one second of your life in separation, worry or fear.

Let the Mother carry your burdens; let Her rock away your fears. Lay all of your worries, regrets, shame and guilt on Her altar. Please, please sweet child, do not fear. You are love in motion. If you allow it, you are already healed. Let Her remind you of your goodness. Let Her love away your fears.

Your capacity to love and hold others is limited to your capacity to love and hold yourself. Be compassionate with your sweet body, mind, and soul. Treat yourself like the beautiful spirit that you truly are. Remind yourself that you are doing your best and try not to carry it all on your own.

You have got this and the Mother has got you. Let Her broad arms take away your burdens; let Her lift the weight of the world off your shoulders. Forgive yourself, my dear sweet child of the Earth.

Star Keeper

 

Cosmic ancestor. Seed the light by staying grounded.

You’re an ancient keeper of the stars. Here to anchor and seed your light in your unique way. You’ve likely been incarnating on Earth for some time, dedicated to an era of awakening and bringing about a longawaited shift in the planet’s evolution. We’re at a tipping point now. The survival of Earth and all its species is coming to a head.

The more grounded you remain during this transitional period, the more helpful you’ll be. The more you tend to the flames of your own heart, the more love you’ll anchor onto this planet. The wisdom of the stars is imprinted in your soul. The more soul fragments you call home, the more this wisdom is seeded here.
