Maybe flowers are here to teach us

rebecca campbell rose

Maybe flowers are here to teach us how to be human. ⁣

How to unashamedly embrace our true nature no matter how different or beautiful. ⁣

To realise that we are not meant to look or sound or act the same. ⁣

That diversity is not just important but absolutely crucial for life. ⁣

To keep remembering that there is a sacred timing to things. ⁣

That there is enough room for everyone. And that it is impossible to bloom all year round. ⁣

Maybe flowers are here to teach us how to be human. ⁣

To stand tall like the poppy and strong like the thistle. ⁣

To be resilient like heather and reach our roots deep like the fig. ⁣

To defy the norm like the hawthorn.⁣

To keep courageously opening like the peony. ⁣

To be to be unapologetic like the passionflower. ⁣

To remember our sweet innocence like the jasmine. ⁣

To take a leap into the unknown like the daffodil. ⁣

To be willing to risk it all the cherry blossom. ⁣

To know it’s never too late like autumnal blue. ⁣

To trust the changing seasons of our life like the hydrangea.⁣

Yes, perhaps that’s what flowers are here to teach us.

Starseed

Starseed Rebecca Campbell Work Your Light Oracle

What lights you up?

Starseeds are souls with a double mission: To raise their own consciousness and the consciousness of the planet. They are old souls who have incarnated elsewhere beyond this planet.

Many Starseeds arrive with a feeling that time is running out and that there is something that they came here to do or create or contribute. If you pulled this card it is to confirm that you are a Starseed and you are being encouraged to answer the call. To follow what lights you up.

Once awake, most Starseed souls find it hard to have meaningless conversations, jobs, and relationships. They innately know that there is much more to life and feel that there is ‘something more’ and get to work. They remain restless until they step into their calling, which is to light up the world with their unique presence.

Starseeds are scattered all over the planet. In hospitals and schools, in slums and mansions, on stages and in edit suites, in parks and nightclubs, in taxis and theme parks. Many Starseeds spend parts of their lives trying to fit in or in some form of spiritual closet. If you are dimming your light to fit in, it is time that you stop and start embracing the unique light that you came here to share, and treat your time on Earth like a glorious vacation.

You Got The Love

Rebecca Campbell The Starseed Oracle

Hadarian energy. Codependency. Boundaries.

The Hadarians are believed to be beacons of pure, divine, unconditional love who see love in all people and situations. As a result, they can find it hard to have boundaried, interdependent, healthy relationships because they only see the unconditional nature of those they meet.

The lovers of the cosmos, they dive in fast. They’re here to learn how to love while in a separate body. To learn to love self first and then establish healthy relationships with others. To remember that the love they seek is already within them. That they truly do have the love all on their own.

The message of this card is to review the ways you may need to establish healthier boundaries. Perhaps you’re in a codependent relationship in which you may be losing your sense of self. It’s common for Starseeds to dive deep into relationships, particularly with those who feel safe and familiar at a soul level.

Perhaps you’re in a relationship in which you give more than you receive. Or perhaps there’s a certain volatility to it and you’re always unsure where you stand. This card is a sign to do a relationship review and see what energetic agreements you’ve made, consciously or unconsciously. To acknowledge it if there are relationships in which you feel anxious or powerless. In which you don’t feel like it’s safe to relax and just be you. To assess if there are any places of inadequacy that you’ve used a relationship to soothe and cover up.

△ Starseed Soul Inquiry: How do you lose yourself in relationships? How can you develop a deeper love for yourself? △

DIVERSE WISDOM

It was wonderful this week to catch up with some of the gifted writers I mentored in 2018/ 2019 as part of Hay House’s Diverse Wisdom initiative, and to hear how their projects are going.

Saira Easton published her book From Burnout to Bliss in April this year, Lakshmih Moon won a Balboa Press publishing package and is currently working on her book The Courage to Soften, and Wafa Tarnowska, who is already a published author of a number of books, including beautiful children’s books which create a bridge between East and West, is preparing for the publication of her next book, Amazing Women from the Middle East, in September.

You can read more about Diverse Wisdom here.

Protection

Protection Rebecca Campbell Work Your Light Oracle

Call back your power. Cut the cords. Soul retrieval.

You are being called to protect your energy and call back your power. May all the lost pieces return home now. Take a look at who and what drains your energy. Do not keep your tabs open. Shut down energetically each night.

Energetic cords are formed between people, places, objects, and events, so it’s important to keep checking in. Your energy and energetic space are sacred, so treat them as such.

Keeping your energy clear takes work. As we go through life, we can give away our power, so it is important that we call it back by cutting energetic cords or doing a form of healing known as ‘soul retrieval.’

Can you think of a traumatic event, relationship, or soul memory that you are being called to call back your power from? Check into your body now and see which chakra feels like it needs a bit of an energetic clean-up.

△ Work Your Light Activation: Hold the card on the chakra (or chakras) that needs cleaning and repeat the following: ‘I call back any lost soul fragments, power, or light now. Any vows, soul contracts, hexes, or programs from the past or present, from this life or others that are not in the highest good of all, I relinquish now. Any power or light that I have willingly or unwillingly given away or had taken from me, I call back now. Any cords or attachments from this life or others, I release now for the highest good of all. And so it is, and so it is, and so it is.’ △⠀

Watching nature grow: birth, death and flower work

white flower rebecca garden

During birth the placenta gives the child all of the nourishment it needs with the help of the umbilical cord. In most ancient cultures including my own, the placenta is seen as a sacred highly nutritional thing. Looking at mine after giving birth I was blown away at how much it looked like both the tree of life and images of the cosmos. As if this thing that grew inside me like billions and billions of others had the intelligence of the entire universe inside it. Just like every cell, every molecule of water, every shell, every blade of grass, every living thing that ever was. It gave me a deeper understanding of as above so below. It’s the same reason why I believe that we can find the answers of the universe in a flower or a tree.

trust the flow of your river

Giving birth was the most transcendent and immanent experience of my life. I experienced the feeling of being stretched to the far ends of the cosmos to fetch my baby while also being more fully anchored on earth in my body than I ever thought humanly possible. Both in this world but not of it at the same time. Holding the opposites as Marion Woodman would say.

Nature constantly offers that teaching to us too. If you’ve known me for a while you’ll know how much of a big part flowers and nature have had on my journey. From flower work, to earth pulsing to intuitive nature walking to working with herbs in structured and intuitive ways.

Since moving to Glastonbury during my pregnancy I was called to return to the Earth even more deeply than before. Unable to walk more than 100 metres without pelvic pain I found myself falling more and more deeply into this sacred earth. Drinking herbal infusions and making flower water from the flowers in my garden I found myself surrendering deeper and deeper into each and every cell of my body and my ancestry. At the moment of transition there was a moment where I traveled through my ancestral line back to the original mother. Where it felt like I was connected to all of the women who had ever gone through some kind of holy labor. The ecstasy and the agony. The birth and the death. The holy difficult effortless uncomfortable flow of labor.

During the pregnancy my husband went through his own initiation. And like most initiations there was a dark night of the soul. And when he returned he came baring the most precious gift of all. He said, ‘my purpose is to experience nature and I have realised that I am lucky enough to have a front row seat watching it happen right before my eyes’. When I asked him to tell me more he explained that watching your belly get bigger is like watching nature grow. And once our baby arrives it will be the same.’

Every cell in my body said YES. And so together that is what we do. Each day we make sure we prioritise experiencing nature during our day. And as our son grows we recognise that we are are actually watching nature grow too. Constantly blown away at how his body knows what to do. Just like the cherry blossom and the tulip know exactly when to burst on through. All in nature’s timing.

After the birth we followed the tradition practiced by our ancestors and turned the placenta into medicine (tincture, homeopathy and tablets) to support us as we transition, separate and grow. We also saved a small amount in the freezer to offer to the earth when the time felt right. And on a Sunday 8 months to the day of giving birth which happened to be the day of the year when the sun was at the most highest we offered it back to the earth.

P.S. If you would like to deepen your connection with the flowers, you might like to try one of my most popular Soul Journeys and flower work bundle ‘Discover Your Soul Flower’.

Whale and Orca Elders

Rebecca Campbell The Starseed Oracle

Share your song. Frequency of sound. Diving deep.

The Whale and Orca Elders are benevolent cosmic beings here to anchor a frequency of love onto the planet. To harmonize it with their song. As they weave around the oceans they do so much more than any of us know. Their physical presence affects Earth’s magnetic field and their harmonics call us to wake up and remember our own soul’s song.

Looking into the eye of a whale is something you’ll never forget. Whales see into your very being and in an instant, you’re changed forever. They see beyond the physical, the woundings, the identity, the personality, the story. They see right into your soul.

If you pull this card you’re being called to surrender to your deepest truth and share it with potency. To bow to who you truly are. To stretch your heart wide enough to hold it all. To leave your fears, doubts, and baggage at the door. To question any part of you that doesn’t feel good enough.

The Whale and Orca Elders want you to give others the privilege of seeing who you truly are – and for you to see the same in other beings. To drop your hang-ups and personality flaws and get busy revealing the unique note your soul came here to sing.

Allow the song that echoes in the four chambers of your heart to emanate in all four directions. Peel back the layers of suffering and pain and reveal to others your soul’s true song. And endeavor to see the soul of all those you meet.

△ Starseed Soul Inquiry: How are you being called to share your soul’s unique song? △

Break the Chain

Break the Chain Rebecca Campbell Work Your Light Oracle

Ancestral patterns. Healing. Rewriting the future.

You are being called to heal your family line or free yourself from living the life of your ancestors. This could mean letting go of an old pattern of your maternal or paternal line. Healing trauma from the past that is not even yours or observing old ways of being that no longer serve you.

We carry emotional trauma in our luminous field for up to seven generations back. This is why family patterns can be the hardest to break. Often, they are not even ours to begin with. But we do not know another way of being and so we continue playing out the drama.

The thing to notice when ancestral healing comes up is that you cannot heal another person, but your own healing can cause another person to choose to heal. Energy is freed up. You are being guided now to look at your life and decide how you want it to be. What ways of being or patterns are you ready to free yourself from? What part of your future do you want to rewrite? Now is the time to shake them off and dream a new future into being.

△ Work Your Light Action: What old ways of being from your family line are you ready to let go? Seek assistance from your support team (tribe, friends, healer, coach, etc.) to begin freeing yourself from it now. △

Trust the flow of your river

trust the flow of your river

Trust the flow of your river. ⁣

Swim the one you came in to swim. ⁣

Don’t let someone convince you to abandon yours for theirs. Or believe that one is more righteous than another. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

There may be times where your rivers flow alongside and maybe even times where yours and theirs collide. ⁣

But don’t stay too long that you get caught up in someone else’s current, stay true to your tides. ⁣⁣

Trust the flow of your river. ⁣

Swim the one you came in to swim.
