A PRAYER FOR GROUNDED ACTION

the other is now us

Great Mother,

May we stay in our uncomfortableness so we may heal.

May we drop our defences so we may heal.

May we stay in difficult conversations so we may heal.

May we be clearly guided so we may heal.

May we take consistent grounded action so we may heal.

Please guide us, please lead us, please show us the way.

The importance of grounded action

rose

I hope you are okay amidst everything that is happening around the world. We are still in lockdown here in the UK. Like most new mums I’m pretty sleep deprived and juggling the running of my business during lockdown. Like many, I am missing my family and friends AND I am also incredibly fortunate and grateful that my loved ones and I are safe and well.

Since I last wrote I have been deeply moved by the first-hand experiences shared by people of colour within my community and beyond regarding the protests currently taking place in the US and around the world.

As a mother I cannot even begin to fathom what it would feel like to have my baby be treated differently because of the colour of his skin. And like many mothers, I have felt deeply called by the death of George Floyd, and know he is one of so many who have lost their lives to racial injustice.

For the past two years I have been committed to my ongoing anti-racism education and have been taking grounded action for change (such as being part of the Diverse Wisdom mentoring program, offering scholarships, donating money to causes and educators, and using my influence in organisations I have a voice in to bring about change). And I realise that while I’ve been sharing about this on social media I haven’t directly addressed it here in my newsletter. I feel it’s important to.

As a white woman I acknowledge how privileged I am and the tragic harm that colonialism and systemic racism have been responsible for across the world. I also deeply acknowledge how much there is to learn and unlearn and how important consistent grounded action is.

home posters

Growing up in Australia, I had a yearning for ‘home’ without being able to understand what that meant, and sometimes wonder if that is because it was never really the home of my ancestors. I moved to Europe in my early twenties and since having our son, my husband and I have felt the place of our childhood calling us. And while we haven’t lived there for fifteen years, we are realising that it is time for us to fully lean into educating ourselves on the harm done to Indigenous Australians, in order to be part of the change.
Last week I posted a video by Erica Courdae, who spoke of the importance of ‘imperfect action’ instead of going silent. I found it really helpful so I’m sharing it in case you will too. You can watch it here.

If you are new to this conversation, I’m also including some resources below that I have personally found helpful: Why I’m no longer talking to white people about race by Reni Eddo-Lodge – this book is a particularly good one for anyone living in the UK (Reni has asked anyone who is planning to buy a copy to try ordering it from your local independent bookshop to help keep them going during this pandemic), ‘Why you need to stop saying “all lives matter”‘ by Rachel Cargle’10 Steps to Non-Optical Allyship’ by Mireille Cassandra Harper and the paper ‘White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack’ by Peggy McIntosh.

I know this year has been uncomfortable for many in many different ways. So much in our world is rising up to be dismantled and healed. I believe we are standing at a pivotal moment in human history where we are being called to take action for the kind of world we want to create. I believe that 2020 could be a significant year for change in our lifetime. But like any significant change, it asks that we take consistent grounded action.

Soul Inquiry: What grounded action is 2020 calling you to take?

A PRAYER FOR HEALING AND GROUNDED ACTION

Great Mother,

May we stay in our uncomfortableness so we may heal.

May we drop our defences so we may heal.

May we stay in difficult conversations so we may heal.

May we be clearly guided so we may heal.

May we take consistent grounded action so we may heal.

Please guide us, please lead us, please show us the way.

Star Brothers

Rebecca Campbell Star Brothers

Horus energy. Protection. Loyalty. Safety. Trust.

You’re more protected than you can imagine. It’s safe to open the back of your heart. You’re being called to be open to receiving a new level of support now – from those in your life and from the benevolent beings you’re connected with.

Through ancestral patterning, current life traumas, and past life karmic impressions, many of us have become mistrustful and suspicious of loyalty and have blocks when it comes to receiving support. We’ve learned that we need to go at life alone. That it’s not safe to let our guard down and our heart open. That the world isn’t a friendly place.

The Star Brothers want you to have a new experience of life on Earth. They want you to feel deeply secure and safe, even if you’re going through a difficult time. They want you to hand over your fears to them. To see them as opportunities to let in more love.

They’re guiding you to stay open to receiving a greater level of support than you can ever imagine. Both in this world and beyond. To call in your team of loyal protectors and supporters, both physically and energetically. They want you to learn to soften through life’s ups and downs and to learn to open your heart, especially when it most wants to harden.

△ Starseed Soul Inquiry:  How can you open yourself up to receiving more support?△

The Great Gathering

The great gathering Rebecca Campbell The Work Your Light Oracle

It’s all coming together. Intuitive hits. Soul tribe.

You are being called to let your intuition move you physically. You are connected to a group of souls who are weaving a web around the planet, and as you travel and share your creations something is rethreaded. This card is an acknowledgment that you are either being called to connect with others who are like you at a soul level or that you already are. You are being called to gather groups of people, either by leading them or becoming part of a group that can support you and your soul’s personal mission.

You are part of a group of souls who agreed to be here at this time in history to heal yourself, your ancestral line, and the planet. To raise consciousness so that we can continue to call this magnificent place home for eras to come. One of many consciously choosing to devote your life to something greater than yourself.

It’s time to call in your tribe by sharing your soul’s voice and letting yourself be seen. When you share what is real and true to you, and you share the medicine that you most need, those who are like you will gather around you. You are your tribe; they are just like you. And just as you are longing and searching for you too.

△ Work Your Light Activation: Place your hand on your heart and say: ‘I choose now to let myself be seen. I am ready to call in my soul tribe and create a web of light all over the planet. △

Lifting the Veil

Rebecca Campbell The Starseed Oracle

Questioning everything. Anything unaligned must go.

Things aren’t always as they seem. This era is one of uncovering mistruths so we can remember ancient truths. Everything is in a state of recall and realignment. Anything that isn’t in harmony with the planet will not survive.

This goes for society and the world at large as well as in our own lives. If you pull this card you’re being called to energetically scan your life for things that may no longer be a vibrational match for who you are and how you’ve grown. To dismantle the systems and ways of being that once served you and others but no longer do so.

Some Starseeds are here to lift the veil between the seen and unseen worlds. To shine a light on things that are inauthentic or unaligned with the survival and wellbeing of Earth. To stand for and protect those who don’t have a voice. To look deeper and question everything that previous generations did not.

Some Starseeds cannot tolerate things that aren’t congruent. They are here to bring society and humanity back into harmony with the planet and the creator at large. If we tolerate things in our life that aren’t aligned and congruent with it, we add to the misalignment of the planet.

You’re being called to trust yourself, notice what’s out of alignment, and then take the baby steps required to bring it back into harmony. This is no easy feat, but it’s so worthwhile. Both individually and for the planet.

△ Starseed Soul Inquiry: What isn’t congruent in your life? How are you being called to bring it back into harmony?△

No

No Rebecca Campbell The Work Your Light Oracle

Wait. Postpone. Pause. Say no.

You are being called to either pause or say NO. Saying YES to something that isn’t in alignment with you will drain your energy and your time. Hold out for a congruent aligned 100 percent YES.

Often, when we are looking for guidance to make a decision, it can be frustrating not to move into clear and considered action. However, timing is everything, and not receiving clear guidance is actually guidance in itself. We all go through times known as ‘waiting periods.’ These times are crucial for our body to regenerate, the new path to formulate, and the Universe to begin creating things on our behalf. You don’t need to be plowing forward all the time to move forward. A potent congruent YES when the time is right will put you ahead leaps and bounds. Don’t force things now, just because it seems like the only option. Take a breather and wait.

The waiting is actually very productive, for when the time for movement comes you will be ready to dive right in. Use this time to regenerate and ponder what you truly want. Consider the options. If the options are not clear, don’t fear, because this time is a gift. Use it to tend to your garden and take a rest. To take a moment from your busy life to clear the decks and prepare for the time in the future. For come spring, clarity will bloom and you will have the reserves, space, and drive to say YES and act and move quickly.

△ Work Your Light: Say no, postpone, or wait. △

Lady of the Rose prayer

lady of the rose prayerHelp me be fully where I am as I wait for a future that does not exist yet.

Help me soften my heart to those who are not capable of seeing me accurately.

Help me be courageous with my boundaries knowing it is the kindest thing for everyone including myself.

Help me lean into what I am becoming without prying open the buds.

Help me to trust the seasons of my life and let go of the one that has passed.

Help me to create a world with enough space for me to enjoy what is blooming.

Play

Play Rebecca Campbell Work Your Light Oracle

Have fun. Celebrate. Don’t be so serious.

Stop taking life so seriously; your spirit needs to have some fun. The more you play, the more inspiration will follow. Take some time out to do something, without being attached to the outcome.

You are being called to rest and play, and learn to have more fun. Do something that makes you laugh – the best medicine around. Call up a friend that you can be silly with. Take your inner child on a date. The more you switch off your mind, the more room your spirit has to whisper and guide. When we do things without being attached to the outcome, ideas, clarity, guidance, and solutions have the space to drop in. The left and right hemispheres of the brain can begin talking to each other. Make play a compulsory part of your day. Schedule it.

Spend more time doing things just because you love to do them. Just because they bring you joy and light you up. If you follow what lights you up, you will light up the world without even trying. For when you are lit up, you are in your spirit and when you are in your spirit you fall into flow with life.

How do you play? What do you do to have fun? What lights you up?

If you have been working hard lately, it’s time to celebrate how far you have come – all that you’ve achieved. Don’t rush on to the next thing, take a moment to throw a party, go on vacation, or have some fun.

△ Work Your Light Action: Have more fun. Play more.  Celebrate your achievements. △

Jump In

Rebecca Campbell The Starseed Oracle

Andromedan energy. Adventure. Say yes to change.

Andromeda is a spiral galaxy, the closest galaxy to the Milky Way. It’s believed that Andromedan Starseeds are a group of beings who love their freedom. Very adaptable, they have a strong willingness and ability to change and go with the flow. To find calm in the chaos. To swim with the tides. This card is here to encourage you to do the same.

Perhaps you’ve a significant goal or opportunity ahead of you? If so, you’re being guided to jump in. Don’t wait for permission. Don’t stall until you feel ready. Take a deep breath, a good old run up, and dive right on in.

Life bends for the courageous, and courageous is what you’re being called to be. You’re already facing the right direction – the only thing left to do is leap. You’ll figure out the details as you go along. Things may not always be smooth sailing – life on Earth rarely is. However, it’s the rougher seas that teach us how to sail with glory, and once you know that, you can navigate any sea, ocean, or storm.

The Andromedans want you to fall in love with surfing the waves of life. To seek more adventures. To embrace your own adaptability and find a way to be the calm in the chaos. You didn’t come to Earth to be passive. You came to Earth to truly live. Now, take a good run up and leap.

△ Starseed Soul Inquiry: How can you be more adventurous – how are you being called to jump right on in and leap? △

The Great Severing

Rebecca Campbell The Starseed Oracle

Mars energy. Anger. Conflict. Softening to love.

This is a shadow card: one that may feel confrontational. Don’t be afraid – it’s here to bring to the surface anything that’s standing in the way of letting love in. The warring planet of Mars is our constant reminder that it’s important to soften, forgive, and find our way back to love.

There are many things in the human experience that make it difficult for our heart and soul to stay open to the never-ending source of love. We’re all wounded and our unconscious wounds inflict wounds on others. It can feel like a never-ending dance we can never escape. If we aren’t careful, before long we’ll see the world as a scary, dangerous place where fear and anxiety roam free.

If this card surfaces, it could be for two reasons. Firstly, for you to acknowledge the difficult emotions, situations, conflicts, wounds, and fears that are causing you pain and anxiety. And secondly, for you to find your way back to love.

When we’re hurt it’s normal to close off our heart to the world. To let the painful experience confirm the agony of separation in earthly life. Soften and find your way back to love anyway. When fear, anxiety, and paranoia paralyze you, it’s normal to want to hide away from others and the world. Come out of your cave and soften your heart anyway. We’re all innocent children of God spinning our way around the world. Find a way to see the innocence in all people, especially yourself.

△ Starseed Soul Inquiry: How are you cutting yourself off from love? How can you soften toward those who’ve hurt you?△⠀
