THE GREAT REUNION

https://rebeccacampbell.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/THE+GREAT+REUNION.mp3

There will come a time when the souls

of the unknown meet the family of humanity.

When we’ll no longer relive the agony of separation

through erecting borders, fences, and walls.

When we’ll realize that each one of us is made of the

same ancient starstuff in body, mind, bone, and soul.

The earth and the cosmos breathing itself in and out,

in and out since the beginning of the circling of time.

When we’ll find our way back to each other,

for our survival depends on each other.

When we’ll embrace our differences and our similarities.

When we’ll know that change isn’t only inevitable but our most natural state.

When we’ll be reunited with our brothers

and sisters of planets and stars familiar.

When hearts will be wide and communication will be free.

When home will be everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere.

everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere. everywhere.

When we will cast a circle of love around all of humanity.

That day is coming, that day is near, that day is coming.

May it be almost here.

WE ARE NATURE

rebecca campbell walking through wild flower field

If you look up the word nature in a dictionary, you’ll see that one definition is ‘all the plants, animals, and physical features on the Earth, as well as its forces and processes.’ You’ll also see that this definition doesn’t just omit humans, it specifically states that we’re not part of nature. That we’re separate from it. Is it any wonder, then, that so many of us feel so disconnected? And that humanity has caused so much harm to this planet rather than seeing ourselves as an extension of it?

rose garden

I believe that this is the real separation that so many of us feel, from the Earth itself and thus from ourselves and each other. I believe that humanity’s separation from the Earth as our Mother – from Her seasons, cyclic ways, and ever‑changing state – has caused so many of the problems that we face on this planet today. And that when we see the divine as a man in the sky rather than woven into the Earth, this separation becomes even more evident.

I believe that now more than ever we need to see the sacred in all things. To notice the breathtaking beauty that’s all around us. To see the sacred in the trees, the flowers, the plants, and the stones as well as within ourselves and each other. To weave the soul back into our everyday lives.

chalice well

If we track it back far enough, we’ll all find Earth‑based indigenous traditions in our ancestry. Wise ones who tended the land and showed reverence for the sacred woven through it all. And despite the tragic harm caused by colonialism and patriarchy, there are still indigenous wisdom keepers (living and past) who hold this thread and sing us on. May we protect, support, and revere them. May we listen deeply to their song. The plants, trees, flowers, and stones also carry on this lost wisdom. Through working with the plants, such as the rose, we can return to the Earth and reach back to our ancestors – the ones who didn’t forget. And when we do, there’s a possibility we’ll discover that they too are singing us on.

For a majority of us, the ties with the ancient Earth traditions of our ancestors have been severed by colonialism and the invasions of the Church. Worship of the Earth as a living Goddess and Great Mother became forbidden, and in many cases, forgotten. Reverence for the sacredness of the feminine and the Earth became dormant due to persecution and silencing. In many parts of the world, healers, shamans, medicine people, midwives, and those who worked with the plants to heal were persecuted and their wisdom work forbidden. Tragically, some lineages have been lost, but in the plants, they echo on.

Still, after all this time and all the harm done, nature cradles, heals, and calls us to return to Her. The trees, the stones, the plants, the flowers… now more than ever, nature is calling for us to remember Her and weave the sacred back into our everyday lives. I believe that She’s showing us how to be human and thrive on planet Earth every moment of every day. The rose is one of many plants that are singing us to return to ourselves, each other, and the Earth before it’s too late – for us, not for Her. May we hear, embrace, and heed Her call.

ONLY YOU KNOW WHAT’S TRUE FOR YOU

https://rebeccacampbell.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/ONLY+YOU+KNOW+WHATS+TRUE+FOR+YOU.mp3

When you put the opinions of others

above what you know to be true.

When you make the mistake of taking your

pulse from someone else’s feelings.

When you catch yourself beginning to believe

what strangers say about you.

When you let the energy of the external

world question your innocence.

When you feel yourself absorbing others’ unfelt

emotions and mistaking them for your own.

Say: I am not that. That’s not who I am.

And merge with the infinity of who and what you truly are.

Keeping your heart open

Rebecca Campbell

This is probably one of the biggest challenges of Life, and I would say these times in particular: keeping your heart open through the extremes. From the ecstasy to the agony, the joy to the grief, the love to the loss. We can’t bypass the difficult parts of being human if we want to truly experience the bliss. No one is immune to the highs and lows of the human experience and especially not in these times. We can’t avoid the separation if we want to truly be in union. We can’t pretend the pain isn’t there if we want to truly heal. Personally. And collectively. Especially now.

rebecca campbell rose in hand small

If we close our hearts off to the grief, we risk bring able to fully experience the joy. Of tasting the sweetness. Nature teaches us this. The rose teaches us this. She knows that if She doesn’t open Herself to each of the changing seasons, come spring there will be no bud. Come summer there will be no bloom. And come autumn there will be no fruit. The rose shows us how to open to the world, no matter what the day brings. Birth teaches us this too. When She finds a way to somehow breathe and open through the agony, ecstasy may follow. Through the sometimes brutal contractions She prepares for Her first meeting with Her beloved. And after the thunderous roaring is over, Her mind is blown as she observes a miracle occurring right before Her eyes. The safer the mother feels, the more she can open. May we all find the courage and safety to stay open.

Peony Rebecca campbell

There is a lot of grief and heart ache in the world right now. So much disbelief, division and confusion. From the never-ending wild fires to the land and people of Afghanastan. From being separated from loved ones for far too long to watching our our babies grow in the soil of these uncertain times. I know I am not alone in feeling the many layers of grief. Known and unknown. Spoken and hidden. Personal and collective. Acknowledged and Unacknowledged. Feeling confused and called, overwhelmed and open, blessed and undone, tired and triggered, guilty and grateful, betrayed and privileged, hopeful and helpless at the seeming relentless labouring of this world. Inner and outer.

Rebecca Campbell Glastonbury Abbey

And as so often happens when the metronome of our life begins to slow, there are blessings and sweetness here also. We must relish the sweetness, the healing and the blessings when they are here. And they are always here. That is courageous. To stay open through the extremes. To feel the agony so that the ecstasy can too be here.

rose garden

Living and dying with your heart open is truly a courageous act, as a life well lived is full of losses and tragedies as well as great love, triumphs, and adventures. When we’re going through difficult times (and as a planet we certainly are), when we most want to separate, the healing is almost always found in some form of connection not separation. Connection to ourselves. Connection to each other. Connection to the planet.

When we cut off from our feelings we cut ourselves off from ourselves, each other and the earth. When we close our heart and shut down because the pain is too much, we often find ourselves feeling more separate and alone than before. If we are threads in a great tapestry may we each be led in our own simple way to weave what we came here to weave into the fabric of humanity. If we are seeds, maybe we have seeded within us, the future rose gardens for humanity on earth.

YOU WILL NOT BE LIKED

https://rebeccacampbell.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/YOU+WILL+NOT+BE+LIKED.mp3

Do not waste this precious life trying to fit in. It will never work and it will be a waste of a life. Yours. Who you are is far more than you could even begin to fathom. You were never meant to fit in. Being you is the whole point.

Try to control and please all of those around you. Bend and shapeshift, and by all means squeeze yourself into that invisible box. You will not be liked, and that’s okay.

It doesn’t matter what you do or how much you attempt to avoid it, your presence is designed by default to trigger something in someone else. To bubble up to the conscious what they might prefer not to see. You will not be liked, and that’s okay.

Through no fault of your own, your being on this planet will make someone feel uncomfortable. You may as well be comfortable yourself while it happens. And it will happen. You will not be liked, and that’s okay.

At some stage, and perhaps at many stages, you’ll be the cause of someone else’s sadness, undoing, or rage. Your very existence will remind them of something that they might prefer not to see. You’ll be cursed and cut off because of who you are. And it’ll have nothing to do with you.

You will not be liked, and that’s okay.

PLANT YOURSELF HERE

https://rebeccacampbell.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/PLANT+YOURSELF+HERE.mp3

Invite your soul to come all of the way in.

From your knees to your nose, your cheeks to your toes.

Fully embody your life.

Drop the defensive walls.

Let your soul land and occupy each and every single cell.

Anchor all parts of you into the here and now.

Life is here even when death is here.

Birth isn’t possible without it.

And you came here to birth this world anew.

Don’t you remember?

Fully commit to living this life.

Put your two feet and your ancient soul

wholly and completely in.

Plant yourself here.

I HAVE MUSIC IN MY HEART

https://rebeccacampbell.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/I+HAVE+MUSIC+IN+MY+HEART.mp3

I have music in my heart.

Ancient mantras echoing in all four chambers.

I have music in my heart.

Harmonics reverberate from bone to bone.

I have music in my heart.

Melodies that whisper from just behind the veil.

I have music in my heart.

An inner rhythm pulsing through my veins.

I have music in my heart.

Choirs of angels so grateful to be here.

I have music in my heart.

Monks, siddhas, and shamans clapping through the ages.

I have music in my heart.

A unique note that I came here to sing.

Seasonal rituals

seasonal ritual

Happy Lughnasadh / Imbolc eve, can you feel the wheel of the year turning? I believe that we ARE nature and like nature we are ever changing. Marking the subtle shifts of the seasons through ritual has been the most powerful practice I have found to stay aligned to the cyclic nature of Life. More than any other practice, it brings me into connection with nature and also keeps me in alignment with my own ever changing true nature.

After many years doing ritual I’ve discovered it is an incredible way to weave the spiritual with the physical. Heaven with earth. Ritual is like a stitch in the tapestry of our lives. It is how we weave the sacred into the everyday. It’s also a gentle yet deep way to connect with other people who might not consider themselves overly “spiritual”. Everyone longs for connection and ritual provides a container for that connection.

imbolc and lugnasadh

The Wheel of the Year is celebrated by many seekers all over the world, including pagans, Wiccans, witches of all kinds, and also nature-lovers who do not follow a specific spiritual tradition. It celebrates the turning of the seasons, and those who follow its rhythms mark its seasonal festival days or ‘Sabbats’.

Tomorrow is Imbolc / Lughnasadh in the southern/northern hemisphere. We are celebrating here in Glastonbury with a Lughnasadh Gratitude Celebration Ritual. If you’d like to receive the ritual I’m doing, or my beautiful Imbolc Cleansing Water Ritual if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, you will receive both on the hub when you join my membership.

Mary Magdalene’s Feast Day

Today is Mary Magdalene’s feast day. I have always felt a strong connection to Mary, and to the Magdalene energy.  It led me on a solo pilgrimage to the south of France several years ago where I visited the Basilica of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume and the cave where it is believed Mary Magdalene spent her last days. I will never forget the wildness of nature that day as I made my way up to the cave. The winds were intense, causing trees to fall around me. I noticed how the rocks felt like guardians, holding ancient secrets, seemingly lost.

mary magdalene pilgrimage

🌹 I first encountered this energy on my first visit to the Red Spring at the Chalice Well Gardens in Glastonbury, UK, where the Michael and Mary ley lines meet. Here, I was visited by a consciousness who introduced itself as the Magdalenes, and given the title and energetic download for my second book, Rise Sister Rise.

mary magdalene pilgrimage

🌹 I believe the Magdalenes are priestesses from the Celtic, Essene, Isis, and Avalonian lineages, and that Mary Magdalene herself was connected to this sisterhood and brotherhood of mystic souls who devoted their lives to service of feminine mystery teachings.

🌹  On my second visit to the Chalice Well, I received more. I learnt that Magdalenes have returned to spark a new consciousness on the planet, one where the masculine and feminine are returned back to balance. One where all people are reconnected with the sacred wisdom of their soul, and reconnected with the wisdom within their bodies and feminine within. One where we surrender to the cyclic nature and natural rhythm of life. Perhaps you too are a Magdalene and are called to do this work?

mary magdalene pilgrimage

🌹 Most people who resonate with the Magdalenes also have a deep appreciation for the mysteries, the sacred and beauty. Many are here to devote their lives to the return of the feminine and the remembering and reweaving of the sacred back into our everyday lives. To return to our bodies, each other and the earth. To find the courage to share their voice, be seen and reclaim their power. Many are often drawn to work with roses or the symbol of the rose, which is an ancient symbol of goddesses of old.

mary magdalene

🌹 Magdalenes may hold great grief from times when the voices and power of the feminine were silenced and snubbed out, and the knowledge that in many parts of the world this is still happening today. It is this that Magdalenes are here to heal.

🌹I created The Magdalene Initiation soul journey and workbook to connect with the energy of the Magdalenes, call back your power, reclaim your voice and cast off any way you have felt bound, restrained or constrained in this lifetime, in your ancestral lines or even past lives.

Magdalene Initiation

CHILD OF THE EARTH AND STARS

https://rebeccacampbell.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/CHILD+OF+THE+EARTH+AND+STARS.mp3

Precious child of the Earth and the Stars.

Spirit Earthed in a rare moment in time.

Your soul went through a lot to be here.

Precious child of the Earth and the Stars

Nourished by your Mother, great birther of us all.

Protected by your Father, keeper of the stars.

Washed by your Grandmother, mover of the tides.

Warmed by your Grandfather, the one who lights up the sky.

Precious child of the Earth and the Stars

Cradled each day in the arms of your Mother.

Uplifted by the limitless vision of your Father.

Held in the nightly luminance of your Grandmother.

Warmed each morn by the unchanging rising of your Grandfather.

Wandering soul of many homes.

Forever dancing between forgetting and remembering.

Ever changing ever changing ever changing.

Seeded, planted here for but a breath in the

tapestry of what humanity calls time.
