The Dynamic Duo: The Indispensable Role of Truth and Trust

Truth holds immense significance, for anything diverging from it, in my perception, often manifests as either a falsehood or a deliberate distortion of the truth. Trust is the bedrock of genuine connections in our lives, making the pursuit of truth paramount for meaningful relationships.
When we encounter honesty, whether it comes in the form of spoken words, written expressions, or even musical notes and lyrics, it cultivates a sense of trust in the source. In turn, this forms the basis for meaningful relationships, honest communication, and sets a moral compass not only in our personal journey, but for our collective journey together.
Truth and trust are indispensable guiding forces enabling us to navigate the complexities of life.
Truth or ConsequencesCollapsing levels of truth are devastating the economy. This has a direct impact on us, the people who play a vital role in supporting the economy. In a world where deceit and uncertainty can propagate quickly and easily, I believe truth becomes a reliable beacon.
Embracing truth is not just a matter of intellectual integrity but needs to become a cornerstone once again for building a society founded on principles of justice, empathy, and accountability. The absence of deception fosters authenticity and transparency.
In essence, the pursuit and acknowledgment of truth contribute to the fabric of a harmonious and ethically grounded existence. Can a truth that’s been broken be rebuilt? There’s no easy answer to that. It depends on the willingness to mend, the strength to confront, and the commitment to rebuild what was once fractured.
Follow the MoneyWhat is the reality we are ‘viewing’? It’s like we are in a moral convulsion. Where are the moralistic values? Nations fail when social trust collapses. I see contempt for the established power.
It’s time for massive change and we are in the midst of it. I have a feeling this is just the beginning of the end of the deceit, masquerading as those who try to convince us they know what’s best for us. The American dream—what happened? Regrettably, our nation is unraveling from within.
Our ResponsibilityIt’s time for the people to make their voices heard – in unity, peace, and strength. Government was created to protect, support and uphold the rule of law. It has been shown to us – the rule of law has not been upheld. This is where courage and responsibility come in.
Summoning the courage to break free from the paradigms, whether rooted in truth or fiction, instilled in us during childhood is a transformative endeavor. As we navigate the journey of maturity, there arises an opportunity to perceive the world with newfound clarity through the lens of adulthood.
We’re not in Kansas anymore! The system we trusted might not prioritize us. It’s on us to “do our own research” and dig deeper.
The Importance of Truth and Trust in Daily LifeFoundation of Relationships: Truth and trust are fundamental elements in building and maintaining healthy relationships of any kind. To be successful in establishing long term relationships, open and honest communication is the key to fostering trust.Integrity: Truth and trust are closely tied to personal and professional integrity. This identifies us as reliable and ethical, earning respect and credibility in the long run.Transparency: Truth promotes transparency, and transparency is key to establishing trust. Being transparent about intentions, actions, and information helps create an environment where trust can flourish.Emotional Safety: In an environment where people feel free to express themselves truthfully without fear of judgment or reprisal, trust can grow. Emotional safety is vital for fostering open communication and collaboration.Accountability: Truth and trust go hand-in-hand with accountability. Taking responsibility for one’s actions, admitting mistakes, and being transparent about intentions contribute to the development of trust. Accountability reinforces the belief that individuals can rely on each other.Reliability: Trust is built on the foundation of reliability. When individuals consistently deliver on their promises and commitments, trust is strengthened. The reliability of information and actions contributes to the overall trustworthiness of a person or an entity.Conflict Resolution: Truthful communication is essential in resolving conflicts. Lack of truth and trust can lead to escalating conflicts, making resolution challenging. It doesn’t imply you must agree with someone’s expression, and they don’t need to agree with yours.Truth and trust are an inseparable and dynamic duo, much like peanut butter and jelly – essential for a satisfying combination. Whether you prefer a different pairing, the concept holds. Nurturing these qualities in personal and professional realms enriches well-being and fuels success for individuals and communities alike. As the saying goes, “The truth will set you free.” Embrace the liberation.

Beyond Challenges: Finding Hope and Resilience in the New Year
In the chronicles shared on my “Living in Courage” blog, I’ve delved into the narrative of triumphing over some of life’s most formidable obstacles. The year 2023, however, has proven to be particularly arduous for a multitude of individuals within our extended network of family and friends. Across the United States, where I currently reside, the harsh realities of this year have manifested in the closure of longstanding businesses that once formed the bedrock of many lives. In our town, I see business closing regularly. The prevailing sentiment I have taken note of is one of profound sadness, frustration, confusion, and, in some instances, anger. Many are grappling with the disconcerting notion that the familiar contours of their lives are swiftly slipping away.
How do we connect with hope and resilience when some of life’s challenges seem insurmountable? I believe in the immense power of hope; it is not a sign of weakness but rather a force that fortifies the core of our being. We are stronger than we know. In moments when a solution appears elusive, it emerges once we dispel fear from our hearts and minds. This is where courage comes in.
Let’s look for some light at the end of the tunnel…Acknowledging Challenges:Reflect on the challenges you have faced in the previous year, or anytime in the past. Did you overcome them? If so, how? Did you take cautious baby steps, or dig right in with fierce determination? If you were successful in your endeavor, did you feel proud of yourself and give yourself a victory pat on the back? Take the wins when you get them as they are well deserved.Acknowledging difficulties is the first step toward overcoming them. Fear can seem like a powerful enemy, but you can make choices that transform you into a warrior, facing adversity with courage and resilience. The Power of Perspective:Our perspective can shape the experience of challenges. Throughout history individuals have confronted adversity. The catalyst for transformative change often lies in the subtle shift of perspective—a new vantage point through the lens, so to speak—that can truly make all the difference.Re-framing difficulties as opportunities for growth may not be enjoyable, but it is through this perspective that we embrace change, recognizing it may be in our best interest even when we don’t initially believe it.Cultivating Resilience:Resilience plays a crucial role when facing adversity as it represents the ability to bounce back, adapt, and navigate toward the best possible outcome. Best case scenario – we may even come out stronger on the other side.Cultivating resilience, helps us manage stress and hardships more effectively. Circumstances change, and when they do, we are better equipped to adjust our strategies, goals, or as mentioned earlier, our perspective. When we feel overwhelmed emotional strength is a powerhouse within us.Learning from Setbacks:Use them as opportunities for personal and emotional growth. This allows us to extract valuable lessons from adversity, which become stepping stones for future success. Many individuals and communities throughout history have not succumbed to setbacks; instead, they have seized them as potent opportunities for transformation and triumph. We can do the same in our lives.Community Support:Resilience thrives in the presence of a strong support system, one of family, friends and community support. Connecting with others, seeking help, and fostering positive relationships contribute significantly to our inner and outer reserves. Many people have developed online support through social media sites, offering a powerful testament to the fact that, in an era where physical distances may separate us, the virtual connections forged through these platforms have become invaluable lifelines for individuals in need of great support.Setting Realistic Goals:If you set goals for the New Year, I encourage you to set yourself up for success in the new year by establishing realistic and achievable goals that align with your aspirations and promote steady progress. Cut yourself some slack, and trust me, I get it—I’m not exactly the poster child for patience, just ask my husband. Sure, I’ve got the patience of a saint in some areas, but in others, well, let’s just say it’s a work in progress. Take a moment for a bit of self-examination; we all have those zones that could use a little TLC. Nobody’s flawless—we’re more like onions, peeling back layers of improvement potential. Just remember, perfection is overrated, and a good laugh at our own quirks is highly recommended! The impact of small, incremental progress may be more realistic, and helpful for overall well-being. Go easy on yourself if your goals are not reached in a particular time frame. We’ve all been there and have found the undue pressure does not support us.Mindfulness and Self-Care:Mindfulness practices are great tools for staying grounded in the present. Explore a myriad of fantastic mindfulness and self-care practices by searching on Google. Identify the ones that pique your interest the most. If you’re new to these practices, consider starting with just one and gradually discover those that resonate with you the most.Self-care in maintaining mental and emotional well-being is essential to happiness. Take time to indulge some self-pampering when you need it.Finding Silver Linings:Focus on solutions, growth, and opportunities rather than dwelling solely on the challenges we face.Share stories of individuals who have discovered unexpected blessings amid adversity.Celebrating Progress:Throw a mini party for yourself each time you conquer a small victory or hit a milestone—because every step forward deserves its own celebration! There is great importance in recognizing and appreciating personal growth. Celebrating our achievements is like giving ourselves a well-deserved pat on the back, and I vividly recall the profound sense of accomplishment when I finished writing my book, “Change Your Movie, Change Your Life.” The thrill escalated when it not only became a bestseller on Amazon achieving that distinction in three categories. Trust me, it felt like an enormous pat on my back, a culmination of years of relentless effort, navigating the challenges of publishing, enduring months of securing permissions for quotes, and more.Building Hope for the Future:All of these tips give us personal hope in shaping our individual future.I wholeheartedly encourage you to gaze into the future with a radiant optimism that lights the path ahead and a profound sense of possibility that opens doors to unexplored opportunities. Embrace the untapped potential that each day holds, allowing hope to flourish and illuminate the journey toward a future brimming with promise and positive transformations. Here’s to all of you in 2024A year destined for its own array of shifts and transformations, both on a personal level and as a global community. As we clink our glasses, let’s acknowledge the monumental changes poised to shape the world, from technological leaps to societal advancements, politics, and the collective strides we’ll take towards a brighter and more interconnected future. May this year be a tapestry of significant global shifts, personal breakthroughs, and shared milestones, propelling us into a new era filled with endless possibilities. Cheers to the grand journey that awaits us in 2024!

From Chaos to Clarity: Lessons Learned in a Science Fiction Reality

I find myself reflecting on the continuous transformations and global shifts that have been the focal points of my writing for years. The unfolding narrative of life on Earth often echoes the plot-lines of a science fiction movie. Amidst this tumultuous backdrop, the aspiration to embody warmth and kindness towards humanity remains challenged by a stark reality – these qualities seem to be in scarce supply.
In the face of this challengeI choose not to be a passive observer or to succumb to external control. Instead, I assert my commitment to navigating life guided by my inner wisdom and sound judgment. My instincts, honed by experience, serve as a reliable compass in this unpredictable terrain. I extend my trust selectively, placing it in those who have proven themselves worthy, rather than blindly following those led by the nose. As we traverse the intricate web of existence, my resolve remains unwavering—to be a beacon of discernment and resilience in a world often veering into the unknown.

Awakening to Balance and Peace in the Midst of Global Turmoil

My articles have aimed to gently encourage readers to become more aware of the realities unfolding in the world beyond. In the tumultuous landscape of the world today, it has become increasingly essential for each of us to recognize the profound impact of external events on our personal lives. This article isn’t about diving into the complex realms of politics, war, or the ongoing struggles that the masses endure. Rather, it’s an exploration of how we, as individuals, can navigate the turbulent waters of our times, finding equilibrium and tranquility amidst the chaos.
Our beliefs, opinions, and actions are unique to each of usIt’s a testament to the rich diversity of human thought and experience, but it also presents a challenge when it comes to changing someone’s perspective. We’ve all tried it, how did that work out? The human mind is a fortress of preconceived notions and established beliefs, making it difficult to venture beyond our comfort zones. It’s simply easier to close our eyes to realities we’d rather not confront.
Yet, we stand on the precipice of an era that promises to rival any period in history in terms of its challenges. With a world undergoing rapid transformations and uncertainties, it becomes imperative for us to awaken to our circumstances and seek a path toward equilibrium and inner peace. My articles are centered around “living in courage” to overcome life’s biggest challenges. Awakening to balance and peace in the midst of global turmoil can be difficult. Here is a roadmap I hope you find helpful…
Understanding the Chaos:Before we can embark on a journey towards balance and peace, we must first acknowledge the global turbulence that surrounds us. The world, in recent years, has been marked by an array of events, from political upheaval to environmental crises, economic instability, and social transformation. These factors inevitably seep into our daily lives, impacting our mental and emotional well-being.
Embrace Open-Mindedness:The first step towards finding balance and peace in such a chaotic world is to embrace open-mindedness. The world is a dynamic, ever-changing place, and we must remain adaptable and receptive to new perspectives and ideas. By cultivating open-mindedness, we create the space to explore different viewpoints and challenge our own beliefs, ultimately leading to personal growth.
The Art of Mindfulness:In the midst of chaos, practicing mindfulness can be a powerful tool. Mindfulness encourages us to stay present in the moment, setting aside anxieties about the past or future. This enables us to find peace in the here and now, even in the face of external turmoil.
Seeking Balance:Balance is the key to navigating life’s complexities. It involves setting priorities, managing time wisely, and finding equilibrium between work, leisure, and personal growth. By prioritizing self-care, we ensure we have the resilience to cope with external stressors.
Finding Your Inner Peace:Inner peace isn’t something that can be achieved overnight. It’s a courageous personal journey that involves self-reflection, self-acceptance, and the willingness to let go of what we cannot control. It’s about creating a sense of harmony within yourself, even when the world around you seems chaotic.
Connect with Your Community:Building a strong support network is vital in tumultuous times. Connect with friends, family, or like-minded individuals who share your concerns and beliefs. Together, you can create a sense of unity and support that helps weather the storms of the world.
In conclusion, as we stand on the precipice of an uncertain future, we must recognize the challenges that face us, both as a global community and as individuals. While the external world may be chaotic, our internal world can be a haven of peace and balance. Embracing open-mindedness, practicing mindfulness, seeking equilibrium, and nurturing inner peace are all steps we can take to navigate the turbulent times we find ourselves in. Together, we can awaken to the world’s realities and forge a path towards a more balanced and peaceful existence.

Awakening to a Changing World: Taking Control of Our Future

In a rapidly evolving world…
it’s disheartening to witness intelligent individuals allowing themselves to be swayed by assumptions and beliefs without conducting proper investigations. Embracing an open mind and taking charge of our destinies are essential steps towards personal growth and a brighter future. After all, living with courage is the guiding theme here.
The world around us appears to be spiraling downward, and this descent has been so gradual that many have only recently taken notice. The shifting landscape of politics, where divisions seem to grow deeper each day, is a stark reflection of this change. It’s important to recognize that this division is often the intention of a select few who wield influence over the masses. These shifts are unfolding right before our eyes, yet we often do little to resist.
Kevin Ngo wisely said, “If you don’t make the time to work on creating the life you want, you’re eventually going to be forced to spend a LOT of time dealing with a life you don’t want.” This quote serves as a poignant reminder that it’s incumbent upon us to take control of our lives.
People are grappling…with the challenge of maintaining their health and well-being. The fact that we must search for purified water because tap water and other sources are often unacceptable is concerning. Equally troubling is the realization that the air we breathe and the land we walk upon have been contaminated. In our quest for clean and organic food, we often place trust in the sources we buy from. Sourcing “clean” products for our homes and bodies demands time and dedication. This massive shift towards an increasingly polluted environment has been happening over generations, but it now seems to be accelerating.
Many individuals are aware of these issues but choose to live in a comfortable bubble. However, the bubble will inevitably burst, and when it does, they may be shocked and angry. Sadly, we are witnessing the declining health of our family and friends, and we hear of daily deaths that could have been prevented if only people had paid attention. The truth is that what affects one ultimately affects all.
So, what is the answer to these daunting challenges? It’s never too late to awaken to the realities of our changing world. Opening our minds and conducting thorough investigations into the issues we wish to change is a vital first step. Without more individuals paying attention to the degradation of life, not just in the United States but worldwide, our future will remain in the hands of the few—some with good intentions and others with ulterior motives.
“Toxic people attach themselves like cinder blocks tied to your ankles, and then invite you for a swim in their poisoned waters.” – John Mark Green
As we move forward into 2024, let us adopt an eagle-eyed perspective. Let us make changes that enhance our lives and place our trust and support in those who genuinely have our best interests at heart. Begin with yourself, and then extend your efforts to make a positive difference in the world. Remember, positive change starts with individual actions and, collectively, can reshape the course of our future.
Take Charge Of Your Own Destiny

Why intelligent people allow themselves to be led by the nose by what they assume or believe to be true without proper investigation. Taking charge of your own destiny with an open mind is essential to growth and expansion. After all, living in courage is the theme here.
Watching the world spiraling down is a sad thing to witnessIt’s been happening so slowly that most people haven’t paid attention until recently. Everywhere I look, people are divided – which is the true intention of the few calling the shots for the many. It’s unfolding right before our eyes, and we do little to resist.
“If you don’t make the time to work on creating the life you want, you’re eventually going to be forced to spend a LOT of time dealing with a life you don’t want.”
– Kevin Ngo
Health – people struggling to maintain well-being, searching for clean, untainted organic food they can afford, purified water because we know tap water is unacceptable, the air we breathe, don’t get me started! Work environments, family, education, business, inflation, real estate, you name it. This massive shift has been slowly occurring for generations. Now it’s been placed on warp speed. I know many people who see what is happening but don’t want to acknowledge the truth. They just want to live in their bubble. The bubble will pop one day, and they will be stunned and angry.
I am sadly watching family and friend’s health declineI hear of people dying daily; many deaths were unavoidable if people only paid attention to the world around them. Are any of the things I mentioned happening around you or affecting your life? We are all affected because what affects one affects all.
What’s the answer?I feel it’s never too late to wake up. Open your mind and seriously investigate the things you wish to change. Without more people paying attention to the degradation of life here in the United States and worldwide, our future is in the hands of the few. Some good and some very, very evil. Look forward to your life in 2024 with an eagle eye. Make changes that improve your life. Put your trust and support in those who have your best interest at heart. Start with you and go forward, helping to make a difference in the most positive way possible.

The Three C’s
A few years ago I wrote an article for Aspire Magazine. The title was Curiosity, Creativity & Courage. In re-reading the article, which was never posted on my website, I felt these words are as relevant today as when I wrote them. Who better to share them with, than you?
Curiosity, creativity & courage go hand in hand, happily dancing through the corners of your mind, body and spirit. The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity. We are intensely curious as children and creativity is the order of the day. Our little bodies and minds are active and we are courageous! If you have lost one of The Three C’s, try this…
Take a day of your life and go out into the world experiencing things as if for the first time.See with new eyes, keep an open mind and above all, stay curious. Creativity can be elusive without curiosity, and without courage, we don’t resonate with or move in the direction of our dreams very quickly. The world we live in is a wonderland for curiosity seekers. The Three C’s really know how to complement our lives. Here’s how!
CuriosityCuriosity – a strong desire to know or learn. Some say curiosity killed the cat, but I say it gives a cat nine lives! When our interest is aroused, we explore, perhaps even delving in the unknown. Children are especially good at this. The world is a wondrous enticing soul exploration that delights and enlightens. As adults our daily routine can become routine or feel monotonous. Having no time to explore can dull or suppress our inquisitive nature.
Curiosity when kept positive, helps us expand vs contract. I’m not talking about curiously sticking our nose where it doesn’t belong. Joyful curiosity is fun and leads us into expansive creativity…
CreativityWe are creator beings, here to express ourselves. I always ask people what they loved most between the ages of 4 and 10. This question usually brings a smile to their face as they go back in time. We have left breadcrumbs along the trail of life. Clues to our purpose that can evolve and transform into our passionate unique life purpose. Our soul has lovingly assigned each of us with one!
When you ask a child what they want to be when they grow up, they usually have an immediate answer. In part, because of the environment they live in, outer world influences and interests, yet it stokes the fires of the soul and creates hope. Our fertile minds are full of the most exciting activity. Its name – Imagination!
I have noticed that after a long career and many life lessons later, when people aren’t living in alignment with their purpose, they become listless, discouraged, lacking the body, mind and spirit balance they long for. As an adult stepping outside the box or changing directions in life, takes courage…
CourageTo act in accordance with our heartfelt beliefs takes courage, conviction of spirit and hoot-spa! I love everyday courage, which to me, means living from your heart. It’s not required but definitely recommended! Courage is a variety of qualities bound together that give us a feeling of fearlessness.
I have written many quotes on courage. Here is one of my favorites:
“Courageous individuals who are true to themselves feel a powerful resolve that is unshakable, a true conviction of purpose, and a willingness to carry on in the face of any challenge.” – Debra Oakland
Part of my definition of courage is: “Living a courageous life happens when we allow the true essence of who we are to rise up and shine for all the world to see – regardless of other people’s opinions. Standing in the power of purpose is a pure point of courage, available to everyone who cares to utilize it, which brings forward the power alive within. If this power has been diminished greatly, when awakened it can shatter the fear of moving forward toward an intention or goal.
Greatness arises from mediocrity. Lives are altered as awareness shifts to possibility and progress. The union of courage and honor is a great gift within the heart of every human soul.”
High five to courage!
Three C’s Wrap UpHow do you feel when you step outside the box of the same day in, day out routine that has lost its luster? It feels energizing, encouraging and effectively helps you shift your perspective on life. Possibilities are everywhere, if we remain open to them.
So take your curious creative courageous grown-up self and enjoy exploring all the world has to offer.Remember, when you say yes to life, life says yes to you!

Unlocking Fluidity – Let Your Spirit Flow Like A River

It takes great skill and dexterity for humans to emulate this fluid dance of nature. Rather than surrendering control to glide effortlessly and meander as the flow takes us, we struggle, creating waves that may not be necessary. Oh, yes, water in a river goes through some rough territory, but flow it does. We get caught up with the intricacies and complexities of life. I understand, it’s hard not to get entangled in the daily web, unless you live under a rock. The world at large is chaotic, and getting more so, but there are valuable lessons to be learned along the way. The world is a testing ground for our resolve.
No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man. – Heraclitus
My husband Cody is and has always been my greatest teacher, sage and compassCalm and respectful – he flows, unperturbed by the judgments, assumptions, or actions of others. He forges his own path, moving through life with integrity and confidence. As a critical thinker, within the core of his philosophy, (I am taking liberties here) the nature world is his dynamic classroom. Even in challenging times, Cody emanates a composed confidence that is as awe-inspiring as it is enlightening. People gravitate to him quickly because of his lovely spirit and kindness. Cody is my river of peace…
What have I learned?I have a lot to learn!
The more I learn, the less I know.
I formulate and decipher life in my unique way.
Learning from people I love and respect is a gift I greatly value.
Allowing my mind to still helps bring my body, mind and spirit back into balance. Reflective thought unties the knots.
In a river there is a flow and seamless integration with its environment. Reminder – be flexible, adaptable and unflappable with our environment.
Life’s difficulties and challenges can be profound teachers. Experiencing setbacks, failures, and hardships can lead to personal growth, resilience, and a deeper understanding of one’s capabilities. Living in courage is key in overcoming life’s biggest challenges.
We all have access to something that has the ability to bring us back into a state of peace. It is within our grasp to tap into this source, an elixir of tranquility that bathes us in an aura of serenity, inviting us into an elusive sanctuary of peace.

Valuable lessons can come from various aspects of life, and being open to learning from different people and experiences can lead to personal development and a deeper understanding of the world. It’s a journey – courage required.

Embracing Trust: From Personal Lives To The Wild World Out There

The magical elixir that keeps our lives flowing smoothly like a well-oiled machine. Trust is like that reliable friend who always has your back, except it extends to everything from your relationships to the government (yes, even them). So, buckle up and get ready to embark on a journey of trust-building, where we sprinkle in some humor and sprinkle out those shady characters. We are all living and sharing this collective movie together, and we do love some entertainment.
Picture this: you meet someone new and they claim to be the next superhero. Now, unless they can fly and shoot laser beams from their eyes, it’s probably wise to take their words with a pinch of salt. Trust, my friends, is a delicate balance of integrity, honesty, reliability, and a good ol’ pinch of skepticism.
What does trust mean to you?To me it’s the belief that someone or something can be relied on to do what they say they will. From the micro to the macro. Integrity is the key ingredient in the recipe of trust I have put my faith in throughout my life. Yes, I have had some big disappointments in that area, just as we all have. Some of the ingredients I add to my recipe are – honesty, reliability and keen observation. A couple shakes of skepticism to discern if they are consistently reliable. If they are, they will be the superhero/shero’s in the movie of my life. We all associate with people we don’t put our complete faith in, it’s unavoidable, right? If trust is low on the scale, I tread lightly, like the ninja I am. Okay, I’m laughing at that one. Just not the tread lightly part.
But hey, let’s not forget about the blame game! It’s a classic, right up there with Monopoly and a broken escalator. Our lovely planet seems to be a playground for this blame game, where everyone wants power over others. Spoiler alert: it’s never a win-win situation. So, instead of playing that old tired tune, let’s hit the “Collaboration” playlist. Trust me, it’s got all the catchy tunes you need for a global dance party. If we keep falling for lies and deceit – knowing it will continue down that same path, we have no one to blame but ourselves. To my way of thinking, honesty builds confidence. Dishonesty destroys confidence and who needs that pile of shit? Rid yourself of people who continuously let you down mentally/emotionally, physically and morally. You’ve heard the quote, “Relationships are about trust. If you have to play detective, it’s time to move on.” That should go for any relationship…just sayin’.
In the realm of personal relationships and the outer worldHonesty is the secret sauce that binds us together. If you’re wondering how to gauge honesty in your loved ones, I have a simple rule: trust your gut feeling. If your gut tells you they’re being as honest as a used car salesman claiming a clunker is a luxury ride, it might be time for a reality check. Remember, trust should flow both ways, just like a lively game of catch. But if someone consistently breaks that trust, well, it’s time to send them on a one-way ticket to the “Ex-Friendsville.”
Now, let’s talk about trust in the outer world, where people often play a never-ending game of “Who Can Fool You Better?” It’s like a twisted reality show that no one signed up for. Think about the eternal battles that have played out, often centered around misunderstandings or assumptions. If you find yourself falling for the same old lies and deceit, it’s time to don your detective hat (I love detective stuff!) and weed out those trust-dodgers. Remember, trust is not a blind leap into a pit of disappointment; it’s a leap with a parachute made of observation, experience, and a dash or two of healthy skepticism.
Before we wrap up this trusty adventure, remember that trust isn’t built in a dayIt’s like making a delicious stew: you need the right ingredients, some patience, and a little trial and error. So, sprinkle in some integrity, stir in some reliability, and let it simmer with time and history. And if you ever find yourself questioning whether to trust someone, just ask yourself: would I trust them to water my plants while I’m on vacation? You may be quite sure they will do some snooping – Ugg! If the answer is a resounding “heck no,” well, it’s time to reevaluate.
So, my fellow trust enthusiasts, let’s embark on a journey where honesty is the compass, reliability is the sturdy vessel, and a pinch of skepticism keeps us on our toes. Remember, trust is a powerful force that can make the world a better place, one honest step at a time. Now, go forth and trust responsibly!

How To Navigate Life In A World Gone Mad

you know our world is going through a massive global shift. There are days when it is not easy to stay calm or courageous, and you may want to hide under a rock. Navigating life in a world that seems chaotic and unpredictable can be challenging, but there are several strategies you can adopt to maintain a sense of balance and find your way. Supporting each other is more important than ever in a world gone mad.
Suggestions to stay calm and carry on:Cultivate self-awareness: Understand your values, beliefs, and goals. Self-awareness allows you to make decisions aligned with your principles and helps you find stability amidst external chaos.Focus on what you can control: In any situation, there are factors you can influence and those you cannot. Instead of getting overwhelmed by things beyond your control, focus your energy on the aspects you can change. It’s empowering. Practice resilience: Develop resilience to cope with adversity and uncertainty. Build a support system of friends, family, or a community that can provide encouragement and guidance during challenging times. Take care of your physical and mental well-being through regular exercise, healthy eating, and engaging in activities that bring you joy.Stay informed, but limit exposure: In a world with constant news updates and social media feeds, it’s important to stay informed about what’s happening. However, be mindful of how much time you spend consuming news, as excessive exposure can increase anxiety and stress, just as it is meant to do. Choose reliable sources and allocate specific times for catching up on current events.Seek perspective and balance: Try to maintain a broader perspective on life. Engage in activities that help you disconnect from the chaos, such as hobbies, creative outlets, or spending time in nature. Cultivate a healthy work-life balance and set boundaries to prevent burnout.Embrace adaptability: The world constantly changes, and adapting to new circumstances is essential. Embrace flexibility and open-mindedness. Be willing to learn, unlearn, and embrace new opportunities from unexpected situations.Contribute positively: Focus on making a positive impact in your immediate surroundings. Small acts of kindness, volunteering, or supporting causes you believe in can bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment. By contributing to the well-being of others, you can create a ripple effect of positivity.Practice gratitude: Cultivate gratitude. Regularly reflecting on what you are grateful for can help shift your perspective and foster a more positive outlook.Remember that everyone’s journey is unique, and seeking professional help is okay if you’re overwhelmed.Navigating through a chaotic world takes time and effort
There is no avoiding the massive changes we are about to face, but with a courageous mindset, we can find our way through.
I leave you with this thoughtful quote…Most people can look back over the years and identify a time and place at which their lives changed significantly. Whether by accident or design, these are the moments when, because of a readiness within us and a collaboration with events occurring around us, we are forced to seriously reappraise ourselves and the conditions under which we live and to make certain choices that will affect the rest of our lives. – Frederick F.
