“Bye-Bye, So Long – Enjoy Your Life!”
Letting go of people who drag you down…just thinking about it feels good, doesn’t it?
Everyone needs a good ‘lifestyle well-being clutter clearing’ now and then. We learn through life experience what we want and do not want in our lives. Contrast is a powerful teacher and an important one. Without contrast, how would we learn, experience, create and expand? I’m sure you will agree it’s one of the key reasons we are on this little planet we coexist on.
If you feel like your ship is sinking, it might be a good time to throw out the stuff that’s been weighing it down. Let go of people who bring you down, and surround yourself with those who bring out the best in you. – Author Unknown
Actions people take that have you saying, “Bye-bye, so long – enjoy your life!”
Disrespectful behind your back and to your face.
Causing physical or emotional pain in your life.
Non-supportive, negative and non-encouraging.
Fear filled on the inside – which manifests in their outer life.
Boring – no fun, whining, complaining and blaming. A life of drama.
Integrity is lacking. They lie, cheat, steal, are self-centered, and always play the victim.
Not extending gratitude and kindness. Ego-driven, always an agenda.
A good friend is like a bra: hard to find one you’re comfortable with, always provides support, holds you tight and is always close to your heart. – Author Unknown
Actions to support relationships, bringing out the BEST in you and that have you saying: “I love and appreciate our relationship.”
Never apologize for having high standards.
You may not be able to predict someone’s negative or angry behavior, but you can decide how long to tolerate it.
Communication is key.
Trust your instincts and don’t give your inner power away. If you have given it away, take it back.
Evaluate your relationships. What are the expectations on both sides?
Forgive the past and leave it in the past.
Courageously choose relationships that are mutually supportive. Enjoy good relationships with an attitude of gratitude.
Every moment of every day you are in charge of your conscious choices and actions. If you feel the choices you have made in the past are not supporting your life, you have the power to change this. I firmly believe we are where we are at any given moment in time based on an infinite and sequential series of choices we have made in our journey.
The seemingly random events that occur are our cues to speak, to act, to react, or to respond.
Become aware of the thoughts you create and the choices they engender. Your life will change when you decide to radiate the many qualities of love out into the world. There is magnetic power in conscious choice connecting us to our heart. To radiate these qualities, you must first access them for yourself. Letting go of people who drag you down is a diligent first step to recovering your inner power.
Focus your lens on living your own life in a responsible manner, making choices that support all life. Such choices include living and loving authentically, choosing peace, cooperating with the qualities of life-expanding empowerment through the heart, and having a grateful attitude and an open mind. Every moment gives you a perfectly new opportunity to focus your efforts on living your best life and leaving the less than supportive people behind.

Intrinsic Growth – Inner Sanctum Grass Roots
In the midst of the insanity we are seeing in the outer world, there is a grass roots movement taking hold. The roots of this movement are deep, as deep as the pain in the hearts of those who can make no sense of the unrecognizable and unacceptable ‘reality’ facing them. Grass roots groups are nothing new. It’s where change percolates. The inner sanctum of shift begins within and takes hold in the outer. The most important mindset to any forward movement is accepting change and embracing adaptability.
Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself. – Rumi
Our souls are rooted deeply, held in the embrace of powers beyond our knowing. Why then do we trust the outer world to provide that which already exists inside us? True satisfaction of the soul is elusive, because we have turned our back on our inner roots. What happens to a garden not tended properly? It begins to deteriorate. Think of your inner-world as a garden. Are you a master gardener who has accumulated the necessary knowledge to nourish yourself – to grow even deeper roots? I think of this as a personal grass roots movement intrinsic to growth on all levels, in all areas of our life.
Let go of the past, but keep the lessons it taught you. – Chiara Gizzi
I’m sure you’ve noticed the dramatic changes in the world – this outer collective we all contribute to. As these shifts occur quickly, adaptability is the best way forward. The unwillingness to accept change can usher in experiences more difficult than for those who are willing and ready to adapt. There is a raw beauty to change, leading to the brilliance of the yet unpolished. We may need to voluntarily walk into the unknown to expand ourselves. Why is it we so often think of changing the world, when changing ourselves brings the best results? The return to ‘self’ is the most important action we can take.
What we change inwardly will change outer reality. – Plutarch

A Perilous Journey on a Road Widely Traveled
Words are sometimes complicated. The rhythm can be out of sync with the feeling intended to transport the reader. Some say writing is a perilous journey on a road widely traveled. It feels new to me. Like taking a jaunt off the much traveled highway into the wilderness. I want to travel a path perhaps hiding under the cover of natures treasures. Sweeping away the leaves and foliage as I make my own pathway lit by the sun and the moon. I feel fresh, vital and alive. All senses alert, listening to the sweet rhythmic music of the words. No pressure to impress, only complete and utter trust in the message.
For you see – I am the messenger. This makes my job much easier. Think of me as the delivery girl. Manuscript in hand, I walk towards my destiny, allowing myself to enjoy the journey. Sometimes I stop to rest, in other moments I feel a soft urge to press on. Every now and then I trip on the underbrush, but I have good balance and right myself quickly. This is an adventure, not a single moment of it is to be missed. I find myself making friends along the way. The breeze whispers in my ears. I see rainbows in the clouds and know I am heading in the right direction…

Become A Love Magnet
Have you ever thought about becoming a love magnet? The word love carries the highest of vibrations. Love is a concentrated, positive, magnetic quality in every human heart, the essence of who we are. The heart generates the largest electromagnetic field produced in the body. As we shift our emotions, we are changing the information encoded into the electromagnetic fields radiated by the heart. This is music to my ears because as we are feeling emotions such as love, gratitude, and peace, the heart beats out a positive message. The movies that so deeply touch our hearts and souls contain a variety of themes revolving around love, and our hearts respond. Love has the capacity to heal, removing deeply embedded wounds from our life.
There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same — only love.
— Jeremy Leven Screenwriter of Don Juan DeMarco
Have you noticed when people feel love intensely, the rest of the world falls temporarily into the background? Joy fills the heart and happiness prevails. The motivating factor for change or shifts to occur in our personal lives, and out in the world, is love. How can we expect to overcome limiting experiences if we aren’t open to releasing old patterns no longer benefiting our life? I think of love as nutrition for the body, mind, and spirit — nourishing fuel determining the health of our inner and outer lives, giving us the strength, wisdom, and power to live the life we picture for ourselves. Letting go of our unwanted and all too predictable egocentric performances makes room for new possibilities, probabilities, and heartfelt characterizations to fill the spaces and places we have cleared. Out with the old; in with the new! The ultimate goal is the growth of happiness and the healthy expansion of all that brings us joy.
Challenges will occur, bringing with them opportunities for growth making us stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to handle every ad lib life sends our way. I have been faced with many opportunities in my life requiring me to improvise, and have found performing from a place of love serves to save the scene. When I respond from a centered place of love, I am allowing the flow of the light of love to illuminate the situation and spotlight the need. When the response comes from the love of the heart before the analysis and critique of the mind, the emotion is calming and the words are healing. There is not one person who gets through life without varying degrees of difficulty. How we learn to handle challenges determines the quality of our life.
Learn the art of living and loving. Step out of mediocrity to embrace the expansive change living in the flow of love offers. Eliminate the facade of FEAR. It is an acronym — False Evidence Appearing Real. It is where all of your excuses originate, blinding you to the reality of the moment. It is an illusion, usually created by self to avoid taking responsibility or being proactive.
“Difficulty: the name of an ancient tool that was created purely to help us define who we are.”
— Paulo Coelho
The fact you are a divine being capable of giving and receiving love, joy, and happiness means you are, by default, worthy. Not only is it more likely people will like you because you are a new actor in their scene, most will come to love you as they get to know who you really are. Tear down the facade of FEAR, embrace hope, exude joy, and trust love. The biggest risk in life is to risk nothing at all.
A golden rule to ponder: when denying the love of yourself, you are denying love to others and placing yourself on the path to imbalance. In accepting ourselves and actively loving who we are and who we are capable of becoming, we evolve. Connecting with the love present in our heart and soul is the most powerful force in the Universe, capable of transforming anything.
As a Love Magnet I Choose: (fill in your answer)
Upon awakening in the morning, I consciously direct love toward:
In my personal daily spiritual ritual, I express gratitude for:
By aligning mind with spirit, I allow love to flow through me toward:
In my daily walk, I shall change the world one degree at a time by:
When life comes at me, I will respond by choosing:
One of the immutable principles of the Universe operating in my life is:
Today, I release love and forgiveness toward:
As a Love Magnet I Realize and Accept:
Love has the capacity to heal, removing deeply embedded wounds from your life.
When the response comes from the love of the heart before the analysis and critique of the mind, the emotion is calming and the words are healing.
Eliminate the facade of FEAR. It is an acronym — False Evidence Appearing Real.
The fact you are a divine being capable of giving and receiving love, joy, and happiness means you are, by default, worthy.
When love is the basis for every choice you make in your life, you can change the world; even if only by degrees.
With a true love of self, comes self-guidance, self-correction, and the ability to exercise self-discipline when needed.
One of the immutable Laws of the Universe is that you attract whatever you focus your attention upon, whether positive or negative.
I will close with one of my favorite quotes on LOVE…
“To love very much is to love inadequately; we love — that is all. Love cannot be modified without being nullified. Love is a short word, but it contains everything. Love means the body, the soul, the life, the entire being. We feel love as we feel the warmth of our blood; we breathe love as we breathe the air; we hold it in ourselves as we hold our thoughts. Nothing more exists for us. Love is not a word; it is a wordless state indicated by four letters.”
— Guy de Maupassant

A Soul Visits Earth
I’m happy…almost all the time. Lately I have been having semi-guilty thoughts about this, and no, I’m not Catholic or Jewish. There are a great deal of people grumbling about life, and I must admit I have felt a little reticent exhibiting my joy as I buzz about each day. What was I thinking? We need people to be positive, to spread good energy wherever they go. I gave myself a wake-up call and decided to be un-apologetically happy wherever I go, or as my friend Ande Lyons says, “Wherever I GLOW!
“Being happy never goes out of style.” – Lilly Pulitzer
Click To Tweet
The world is changing rapidly and not all of it is positive, but there are good people everywhere who want to help make this world a better place for all. We have our work cut out for us. For myself, I make conscious choices that support my life every moment of every day. It’s become a habit, and one I will never turn my back on. Sure, I have moments that aren’t all sunshine and roses, but those have become few and far between and I can handle life’s challenges with more grace now. I know I can’t snap my fingers and make an unhappy person happy, but what I can do is be a living example and spread good energy out in the world. Let me share a little story with you…
A soul is ready to visit earth and says to itself:
I am the alpha, the omega. I am the mysteries of the stars. I am the universe unfolding in all it’s ephemeral beauty. I create without limits, because I am made of of the elements of earth, air, fire and water. My place in this life has been secured by the highest order. I belong to realms of joy-full exultation, music and dance, where love is the fuel of the soul. In the heart of every soul is a key to open the doorway to their origins. Blessed are the souls who take the initiative to bind themselves to truth, to the one law that governs all life. I am fearless, courageous and incorruptible in my ‘original’ innocence. Nature nurtures, guides and orchestrates a concert of awareness that floods my multi-body system with the spirit of peace and well-being. My roots are deeply secured in Gaia as I stretch toward heights of grandeur. There are no limits, except those I place on myself.
The story continues as the soul visits earth:
A young and enthusiastic child is born into a strange world. Everywhere the child wanders, there are barriers erected and rules to follow that stop the flow of this child’s emerging gifts. Sharing these gifts with the world is the ‘soul’ purpose and passion of the child. As time goes by, the child soon forgets the reason for visiting a planet filled with contrast, and begins to erect barriers and rules just like everyone else. The enthusiasm for life eventually drains the adult who is no longer an enthusiastic child. The purpose for coming to earth becomes elusive. Yet, the spark alive within still burns, waiting to be ignited.
One day while sitting in silence, a voice of clarity speaks, awakening and stirring the still small flame of hope. Listening closely, the heart speaks of the key, the doorway. Although the door had been temporarily closed, it was never locked. The doorway to the entrance is the heart – the true key. Can you imagine the epiphany, the re-awakening which occurred, simply because the childhood passion and purpose were reignited by simply listening? Life took on new meaning for this adult. Not being controlled by outside influences, living and creating from the inside out had became the order of the day. Joy-full life events unfolded as each gift rose to the surface to be shared with the world.
Is this a made up story, or is it real? You decide. It may change your life. I know it changed mine.

A Cacophony or A Euphony?
T.S. Eliot said, “You are the music.” There is only one of you. How are you celebrating the music in your life?
When I was around 5 or 6 years old, I remember my dad coming home Christmas Eve with a homeless man named Russ. After Mom, myself, and my younger brother Ted were introduced, we were told Russ would be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas day with us. We didn’t have much at the time, but were happy to welcome someone in need into our home. My dad had good instincts and would not have put any of us in harms way. For Christmas dinner we had meatloaf, as my parents couldn’t afford a turkey at the time. Dad didn’t have the extra money to get mom a gift, so he found a piece of baby gift wrapping paper and wrote mom a beautiful letter, thanking her for being a good mom and a good wife. A couple of inexpensive gifts were put under the tree for myself and my brother Ted. I still remember the “old school” icicle tinsel we hung so carefully on the tree.
My dad volunteered on skid row along with people from the church we attended in Phoenix, Arizona. The church would give out gift certificates to the homeless over the holidays. This is where dad met Russ. We had a old Nash automobile which got dad a ticket for obstructing traffic from the smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. The Nash (again, old school!) was not worth much and we were in immediate need of another car, so dad offered the car to Russ for free, on the condition he fix the smoke issues. The car was signed over and Russ went on his way. I remember dad telling us years later that Russ had planned on committing suicide on Christmas Eve. The time spent with our family altered this mans decision and changed his life.
My parents eventually bought a house in Phoenix in 1960. As we came home from church on a Sunday in 1965, there was a Cadillac parked outside the house. After we went inside, there was a knock at the door. A stranger stood there asking, “Do you know who I am?” After we said we did not, he said “I’m Russ, the man you brought home for Christmas and gave the Nash car to several years ago.” Russ went on to tell us he had cleaned up his life, was married with a child, and was on the city council nearby. He said, “Because you trusted me to come into your home and extended your kindness, I got my life together and wanted to come by to thank you.” He had looked my parents up in the phone book, remember those?
How to explain to someone why they should care about other people, because what affects one, affects all. Energy is energy, after all. Our world is changing quickly and people say they want change. With world politics and political fatigue separating people, just as it has in generations past, a fervor of difficult and unkind behavior is an ongoing conundrum. A cacophony of noise that assaults the ears, the senses, the body, mind and spirit. We need serenity and tranquility – a euphony (pleasing to the ear) of beautiful music in which to celebrate life.
How to achieve this state of harmony that encourages us to celebrate the music in our lives? Like the homeless man Russ who left our home and changed his life, we make choices in every moment that support our lives, or tear it apart. You choose your thoughts, feelings and actions. Make them count if you wish to contribute to a better world.
Pa rum pa pum pum – enjoy your holiday and if you have a tree, throw some icicle tinsel on it, if you can find it!

History – A Bizarre Script
“Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift – that is why we call it the present.” – Unknown Author
Times have changed, yet we are no closer to peace than we have ever been. Cycles flow through every age in time, and as history has shown – much of that history is HIS Story. Women have held the seat of power in times gone by and have been expertly extricated from this position. Women are the fuel of life, the givers of life. When this powerful energy shifted over centuries of time, so did the world.
I’m not trying to place the importance of female or male, one over the other. There is an equilibrium that has been lost, hijacked and hopelessly out of the hands of the many, and remains (quite precariously) in the hands of the few. You couldn’t write a more bizarre script, but it has been written and we are living it because we believe what we have been told. Those who wrote, continue to write, and edit the story have kept humanity separate, fearful, frustrated and at each others throats. For this, they are facing a smack down of unequaled proportions. Revelations are coming to light daily, and as they do the stories will reach a fever pitch. We see it in and around the world, on the news, in media. Oh, and pretty much everywhere you look.
“At some point we become wise enough to see the limiting walls we have built around ourselves. Taking action to release all that does not serve our life takes courage and inner strength. These walls of resistance are sometimes invisible, even to our own eyes. It’s easy to look at another persons life and see why things are not working out for them; yet, when we look at ourselves, we often miss what limits us.” – Debra Oakland
What’s the solution to this unending conundrum? Everyone seems to have an answer, just as every generation before us. From my vantage point, pretty much the same old story playing out. Look where it’s gotten us, and it’s cost. I wish I could push a magic button and we would all wake up. Although it makes me a bit sad, it also strengthens my resolve. I feel a strength, a power that is unshakable, incorruptible and ready for whatever comes next. I will stand in my power, imagining myself as an anchor for good, for integrity, for light, for peace. There are things we can’t change that end up changing us. I invite you to courageously stand with me.
“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” – Jimmy Dean

The End of The World – As You Know It
So you think this is the end of the world as you know it? Perhaps it is, but it’s always darkest before the dawn. The world is unsettled right now. Within this unsettling energy is an opportunity for change. All that is intended by the few to encourage separation and create disharmony among the many, is being challenged as never before. In many regards, the battle between light and dark is actively encouraging us to consciously choose love or fear. We have come to a time requiring our positive, active cooperation/participation, if we hope to see a positive outcome.
Think of a physical operation where diseased parts of the body are removed for health to ensue. The diseased parts of our world are being exposed and brought to the surface. The surgeons for this operation are most skilled technicians who use laser beams of light (love guided) to examine and remove the diseased organisms from humanity at large. There are unseen forces here for us in every moment, patiently waiting our call – willing to assist us in the theater of life.
World events have become what they are because individuals choose how to think, feel and act, which contributes to the collective outer world we all experience together. Imagine waking from a deep sleep of outer world illusion as you exit the space of fear, anger, blame and judgement. Wide awake, you re-direct yourself into the open space of love, light, unity, oneness and grace. Shift can occur in an instant with collective unified cooperation. If we wish to suffer ever longer, the choice of course, is ours. There will be no pleading from unseen forces, for they are a patient source of higher energetic frequencies and love.
“The ashes of your existence will fertilize the soil for the universe to follow.” – Richard Kadrey
The human path has been a long and arduous one. One day when we ban together collectively with a common goal, heart to heart, freedom from bondage will be ours. We are children of the heart, gods and goddesses of great importance and influence. Our power in this dimension has been hijacked. Love encourages us to live and create from the inside out. The alternative is to live from the outside in, remain fearful and manifest in direct proportion.
We are a divine beings of love and light, revered and loved beyond our human understanding. Each of our souls carry astounding power for good, if we choose to use it. The love we truly are, at our core, is a love we could not contain in these physical vehicles. Embrace your inner power. Use it to transform the world. It’s what you came here to do. One by one, with the ultimate goal of Oneness and Unity alive in every heart, we make a world of difference. Is this the end of the world as you know it, or the beginning of something beautiful?

Everyone Has a Story
Everyone has a story. Why does ours seem more important than the next guy or gals? Because we have experienced and lived through the physical and emotional highs and lows that are felt to the core of our being. We have picked ourselves up courageously and carried on, even when we did not think it possible. So yes, as a human you have a story. If you have ever pulled your big boy/girl boots up and moved on, in my mind this makes you brave and courageous.
“Pain nourishes courage. You can’t be brave if you’ve only had wonderful things happen to you.” – Mary Tyler Moore
It’s important to go easy on yourself when the shit hits the fan. Since you are the writer, director, editor, producer and star of your life movie, you have access to the shredder and can re-write your own ending. Sure we all want wonderful things to happen to us ALL the time, but what’s the excitement in that? How would we learn, experience, and expand into the ultimate vision we hold for ourselves if everything is always perfect? People bond over their stories, and ‘perfect’ people can be irritating to those who aren’t. Enjoy the process of raising your energetic frequencies as you ascend in dimensional consciousness.
REEL LIFE EDITS:
Blaming others for how for how your life is progressing. It’s a dead end road that makes for a very sad movie.
Not being aware of the decisions you make and how they affect others.
Treating those on your movie set disrespectfully.
Egocentric – you are not the only one in the movie. Your supporting cast is a reflecting mirror.
Being a bit player in your own movie – if you’re okay riding shotgun, then don’t be surprised if you don’t end up at the desired destination.
Living from the outside in gives your producer/directorial power away.
No appreciation or gratitude for your reel life.
REEL LIFE REWRITES:
Take responsibility for your life. Be the shining star you were meant to be.
Make conscious choices that lead you directly into the life you desire, doing harm to no one.
As the authority figure on your set, be kind and give supportive encouragement to those who are enthusiasts of your movie. After all, they help you build your story just as you help build theirs.
Teamwork. Playing well with others – it takes a supporting cast to build a meaning-full life. As they say, “No man is an island.”
At some point to live the life you dream of, you have to take the wheel and steer it toward the desired destination.
Be a powerful director of your energy to consciously create (from the inside out) the story of your life with passion and purpose.
Gratitude can make for a reel happy ending!
If you have some edits and rewrites to do, I offer a challenge. I invite you to write new chapters in your story. Think about where you want the direction of your life to go, what you want to have, be or do. Happy Movie Making Magic.

Is Your Story Set in Stone?
“Don’t spend your life believing a story about yourself that you didn’t write that’s been fed to you – that simply you’ve accepted, embedded and added to. Let the story go and there beneath is the real you…and your unique gifts, heart and path that await you.” – Rasheed Ogunlaru
I cannot lie to myself, or to you. We have been spoon fed a story, a script written by others. Since birth we have been programmed: What to be, how to be, what/how to think and act, and to accept the story. We have traveled a narrow path. Over time and though experience, we gain perspective and develop many cognitive tools needed to create a coherent life story that makes sense. There is a bigger picture and we are it.
Hang in there with me and consider this: The age old story is to control the masses, which supports the few, not humanity’s larger collective. As your life story unfolds and enters its last chapters, do you want it to be set in stone? Are you in charge of your story, or just living it out to the final scene? In regard to change, character development is crucial and courageous. You are the author of your life, so ask yourself, “Who are the characters my movie – are they strong supporting characters, or bit players dragging me down?” Re-emerging/repetitive patterns will provide you with answers.
My view of the ‘bigger picture’ clearly shows we are a society designed to be kept preoccupied with distractions. We are fed media that comes in many mind-numbing forms. We have television (Tell-A-Vision) and social networks people willingly and many times unknowingly give their personal information to. The media and commercials glorify medical drugs ‘programming’ people for sickness and letting us know, “Hey, we’re here for you when you get this horrific dis-ease.” There are worldwide ads, magazines and press on people we are encouraged to admire and aspire to imitate. Dis-ease and depression are on the rise at an exponential rate. As the world seems to spin out of control, we feel a need to gain greater control over our lives.
Here’s a few tips: Investigate with all your might. Find out what is real for you, what makes sense and resonates with your heart. Consciously choose to be a Change Agent. Together we can change the plot by re-writing our script, making intelligent/informed edits and directing our life production to make a difference in a world needing more light. When someone asks, “What’s your story?” how will you respond? Your answer could create pause for thought, as the standard narrative stymies anyone who doesn’t follow the ‘rules’, and provides unrealistic expectations of happiness for those who do.
As in any good movie, the path to living from the outside in to living from the inside out is dark, light, and full of switchbacks. We see life from our own unique perspective, yet I believe a life theme of greater well-being and happiness is an attainable goal. The ending is up to us individually and collectively. Will the challenges of life on this planet remain unresolved, or shift? The age old question, once again. Will we follow a road full of wrong turns that lead to a dead end, or will the open expansive road we choose to travel together in love and peace lead to a happy ending of oneness, unity and joy?
I begin and end with quotes from Rasheed Ogunlaru…
“You are not who you think you are. You are not who they want you to be. You are not merely your colour, class, gender – and so on – these are quite narrow things. You are not the ideas you are given and gather. You are not what you own or lay claim to. You are not even your life story – for that changes through time, perspective, emphasis and many things. You are what resides before, between and beyond all these things.” – R. Ogunlaru”
