Perspectives...

Hope is often the enemy. Truth, no matter how painful, is the elusive savior. Where Hope keeps washing over you with the aim of drowning you, Truth keeps escaping with the aim of testing your need to know.

Complexity...

A deep complexity pervades Life. Even when throwing blame, one can never be sure who is truly wrong. The father who is never there, or the son who won't listen. The mother who doesn't care, or the daughter who won't give in.

Ratatouille Rattle...

When I reconnect with an old friend, the last thing I expect him to say is, "I guess that Ratatouille rat is helping you bake those pies by hiding under your wig, huh?" We laugh it off and talk about other things. Until he asks, "Do you have anything to eat?" at which point I will kill him, bake him, call it 'bloody buddy pie', and tell the police, "The rat made me do it."

International Tiger Day...

Love...

It is risky to pursue Love. It's not that you might experience heartbreak or disappointment. The real danger is that you may get attached to the very act of giving and receiving Love. Some addictions are harder to break than they are to adopt.

Realization...

At some point, some of us start to realize that we just might be the tragic characters in this story called Life. Knowing it then ceases to be the hard part, and accepting it becomes the most profound challenge of all.

Wisdom...

Starry Actions...

Some people believe that celebrities, powerful individuals, influencers, and all sorts of inspiring stars and personalities should not share, talk, or post about the good deeds they do to help the underprivileged and needy. In truth, they need to showcase those deeds in their brightest light, and as often as possible. That way, all the people who find inspiration in their 'idols' will stop just imitating them and instead follow their actions and help those organizations, charities, and noble causes their own beloved 'heroes' and 'inspirations' are supporting one day at a time, one deed after another, generous donations and ardent activism included. Imagine what it would do for the society and world we live in if 'stars' simply stopped faking their luminescence and started shining bright for real.

Depression...

The root of all depression is fear, anxiety, and hate. If people target this sickness at its source, they may be able to overcome it. But more often than not, people will be too late. Depression may seem like one of the slowest blooming accumulative mental illnesses out there when in truth it spreads swifter than venom through one's soul.
