Words...
Some words are like awards. You need to know whom to give them to, and when. At which point they stop being mere words and become inspiration instead.
Fashion...
One colleague asked another, "Why do they create these bizarre, sometimes ridiculous, designs in the world of Fashion? It feels so pointless. Such a waste."
His colleague looked sideways at him and said, "On one side, Fashion is about Art. On another, it is about the everyday, the practical. But one must never forget that, at its core, Fashion is Fantasy. One look can transform a human into an entirely different creature, and make them and those looking at them feel something deep and profound. It is moving Art made fabric, stitched to remake flesh. Before long, the body ceases to wear the outfit, and the outfit becomes the body itself. Now you'll better understand why it is they do what they do in this industry."
The colleague listening to this fell deathly silent as they felt their imagination wander into a new room of thought, one draped in perspectives.

Let me settle this once and for all…
a. Tiger fur-prints are leaner, sharper, and more jagged, almost like blades.
b. Zebra fur-prints are broader, smoother, and thicker, almost like leaves.
The stripes I love are inspired by Tigers, with whom I'm obsessed, not zebras. Except for the carpet under the dining table coz, um, food.

That Roomie...
A guy sat on the edge of his window and gazed down at the street several storeys below. He cried and complained at the same time, mumbling something about the love of his life leaving him for another. His roomie woke up to find the guy in this terrible state. A large number of people and police had gathered on the street below, and some of the authorities were climbing the stairs to the man's apartment. The man's friend, still brushing his teeth, walked right up to him and asked, "So, you dying for love or because of it?" By the time his friend could find a reasonable reply that would inspire him to let go of the window's edge and fall to his doom, he was saved by the police, fined for the trouble, and admitted in an asylum with flowers and get-well-soon cards all around him. Except for that one card from yours truly that read, 'So, will you be mailing me your portion of the rent?'

Life...
Life is not a sit-com. There's a tough audience around every corner and even the best punchlines end with death.
People & Plants...
People are like plants. Don't give them what they need and they will gradually die. The flowers, which symbolize their dreams, will perish first. Then their leaves, symbolizing their practical realistic side, will wither and dry. And in a grand macabre finale, the stems, branches, and roots that hold them up and nourish their entire being, symbolizing their need to live for themselves and others around them, will be the last to degrade and go. A large portion of the world has people who pass away in this slow and tortuous fashion. The world also has people who live like the burned husks of trees that once stood tall and proud. These people are neither alive nor dead, merely existing until time takes its toll. Plants, on the other hand, are entirely different from people. No matter how harsh or scary some plant ecosystems may appear, the fact is their very existence ensures the existence of life on Earth. In comparison, most humans are the reason this planet is even dying.
