Comedians...

Funny thing about comedians. In the end, the joke's on them.

Shield...

In some instances, removing an extra anti-virus software installed on one's PC proved to speed everything up. Funny how the thing some people chose to protect them is the very thing that slowed them down. It's often the things we trust most that become the source of our many problems.

Sleep...

After observing firsthand the fires rage and the waters rise, the world continues to sleep and considers it an act of intelligence. The hope that all things will pass might well take a turn, and the people themselves will be the first to pass. In such a perilous world, is it wise to continue sleeping or folly to awake?

In Death...

They say it is foolish to seek wisdom in Death, and weakness to rely on Death for strength. But when the fool finds that wisdom, and the weak discover that strength, what will they call them then? That, even the wisest cannot tell.

Beware...

Beware those who come to you seeking warmth. If a creature spots a fire and runs directly toward it instead of away, that creature is probably on the hunt, and you are perhaps on the menu.

Electric Taxis...

Friend 1: "We should pitch taxi booking apps and agencies about giving EV options for customers. It will be a great way to test the public's demand for electric vehicles that can, in the long term, help stem the tide of Climate Change."

Friend 2: "Doing our part for the environment, yeah, sounds good."

Friend 1: "if we choose EV vehicles, fares will be lesser too, coz no fossil fuels. They will just charge GST and add it to a lower price. We pay less for the same trip, and the environment is a little better for it."

"Friend 2 [thinking deeply]: "Maybe that's why they aren't pushing for that option."

Friend 1: [has no comment]

Yes & No...

Contrary to popular belief, both the words 'Yes' and 'No' are deceptive. Without context, they can both usher in a world of consequences.

Milestones...

The day you came into this world, i.e., your birthday, and the day in which you leave it, i.e., your deathday, are both momentous milestones. Unfortunately, you won't have any clue what's happening during the first, and you won't be around to attend the last.

Women...

In an attempt to understand why the world treats women so unfairly compared to men, two probabilities spring to paper, one being simple and the other complex.

Probability 'A': Women truly are inferior.
Probability 'B': Women are powerful in ways so genuine that they simply have to be controlled, subjugated, oppressed, or worse, just so some people can pretend at wielding power that's rightfully not theirs.

Observing just how terribly women have been, and still are, treated – a situation that has only slowly improved over thousands of years – perhaps Probability 'B' holds more validity than 'A'. For if women truly are weak, then why do some expend so much effort, and for so long, to keep them that way.

If physical strength is one of the determining factors that makes a man superior to a woman, fact is strength wanes with age. However, what women possess, 'je ne sais quoi', only grows stronger with time. If having a certain reproductive part is what makes a man more evolved than a woman, fact is no seed in the world is strong enough to create life if it lacks a womb equal to the task.

Nature codes for Female in the womb, and replaces one chromosome to beget a Male. females of select species have proven to birth their own clones through Parthenogenesis, further shoring up the few observations recorded by humankind that hint at the Female being more favoured than the Male.

It seems that all the clever deceptions being wielded to keep Women caged is only proving the desperate need of some people not to let the Tigress realize her own strength. Because then, she can never again be controlled.

Climate...

Gone are the days when asking about the weather was small talk. These days, most conversations about the weather end in a discourse on Climate Change that contains more truths and facts than conspiracies and rumours. Then again, it depends with whom you talk.
