Drinking Problem, In Jail Again - Parents of an Alcholic

Being the parents of an alcoholic is no easy task. My mother was an alcoholic and my grandparents who raised me in her absence suffered endlessly until they got a bit wiser and put a restraining order on her (that is after she broke my grandm'a leg and arm ...on two separate occasions).

I later learned after my mother was killed by an 18 year old drunk driver and predeceased my grandparents (whom I cared for in their old age) that my grandpa also had a drinking problem.

Today all three of those wonderful people are gone - at least two of which (my beloved grandparents) are definitely up in heaven.

Ironically, my half-brother (from my dad and stepmother) also has a drinking problem and finds himself often in jail again.

Here is a letter I wrote to his girlfriend recently sharing my heart and mind toward this repeat offender of over 15 years repeatedly in jail again, and again, and again due to his drinking problem which continually gives rise to his anger problem, confrontations with the law over stupid stuff and hostility toward anyone in close proximity.

We all hate to see him in pain, but much of his pain is self-afflicted by reason of his mental paradigm (as smart as he is and thinks he is...) toward life, interpersonal relations, etc..

Of course I don't know how the bar scene went down. Often male egos are easily bruised by mere intellect (which he may have bruised someone's but fights can be negotiated out of). Nevertheless show me your friends and places you dwell and I will show you your future.

Not only does he need to grow up and put down the bottle, but he needs to change his surroundings and how he defines pleasure.

As long as we reward and rescue bad behavior, we encourage it to be repeated perpetually to the pain of us all.

What we tolerate will dominate.

Thankfully however at least I've learned from my parents and grandparents how to speak to parents of an alcoholic and impart wisdom from my own years of experience.

Even Jesus said, "A prophet is not honored among his own family, nor by his own country."

Thankfully via my books and worldwide ministry I have an outlet to help the masses with my mess-age!

Blessings and breakthroughs!

Liver Cleanse - Remove Gallbladder Stones and Liver Stones

My 2nd liver cleanse to remove gallbladder stones and liver stones was another success (my 2nd cleanse this month).

This time for my liver cleanse I used grapefruit juice rather than lemon juice with the olive oil (both good to remove gallbladder stones and liver stones when combined with olive oil...yet remember there are many other steps in the process and 6 days of preparation).

While laying down throughout the night the liver cleanse kind of felt like magnets were being taken off the refrigerator (my body) or buttons pulled off and gently being cut free....no pain....and the burning of the anus during the toilet time (the last time I sit on the toilet ...preceded by many painless visits... to end the liver cleanse when hershey squirts spray wildly) was also less the 2nd go around.

Good results ....just this time only one or two small pea green formations, but lots of jagged rock like bits & pieces, especially dark orange (like the sand at the Grand Canyon) and several neon light green rock like bits & pieces.

Colors other than pea green are more toxic and can be sometimes traced to chemical substances consumed in our water and environmental contaminants of various sorts.

The liver cleanse book is one I bought for myself and for friends (and revisit and plan to read annually).

Trouble Breathing, Sleep Apnea Solutions - Sleep Better Supplements

Having trouble breathing should be a wake up call to improve your health. My sleep apnea solutions came to me as a result of personal experience and much study to improve my health and find natural sleep better solutions.

Hiromi Shinya, MD and author of 'The Enzyme Factor' has looked at 300,000 stomachs and created the colonoscopy. He recommends not eating or drinking anything 4 or 5 hours before going to bed so the respiratory tract remains open (as any food or liquid in the stomach would naturally cause the respiratory tract to narrow to prevent contents from entering the trachea). Furthermore eating before bed (even "healthy food") causes obesity as insulin is secreted to break the food down. Older people have heart attacks early in the morning often because of acid reflux from the previous evening's meal, which decreases oxygen as the respiratory tract narrows and deprives the heart much needed oxygen and decreases the blood oxygen level. Alcohol further represses the respiratory center and remains in the blood longer as we age due to a reduction of bodily enzymes.

When I bought these enzymes below and a probiotic from the same trustworthy source, within the same day my stopped up nose (which previously hindered my breathing and kept me up throughout the night) to my suprise cleared up.

I therefore highly recommend if you have trouble breathing and are in need of sleep apnea solutions or sleep better supplements to get these below.

http://tinyurl.com/7ngxnk3

http://tinyurl.com/89tjkcr

The book from which I learned about enzymes is also a powerful resource for your health:

http://tinyurl.com/7vowzko

Among the best sleep better supplements is melatonin, which decreases as we age. Melatonin is not only a sleep better supplement, but also is an anticancer substance that is both good for your brain and entire body.

http://tinyurl.com/6wxln64 - melatonin in capsules (veggie) is a great choice

I shall return to edit this article later and add more natural supplements to help you if you have trouble breathing and to impart some more sleep apnea solutions, but rather than just recommending sleep better supplements I encourage you to get these first to attend to the core of your immune system, 60% or more of which resides in your intestines.

If you don't have "good bacteria" working for you, being overrun by "bad bacteria" will cause innumerable ailments and bodily troubles (a facial rash just one example for me, that I discovered to be curable once my intestines were properly attended to). Treating and suppressing symptoms and not attending to the human body as an entire unit is what is wrong with modern day "medicine." The key is to become more in touch and tune with our bodies and assist them, rather than fight against them with unnatural foreign substances not common in nature.

Cleanse your liver and gallbladder of stones blocking up the free flow of blood, bile and oxygen to your cells. This too will help immensely. Learn more here:

Success Speaker - Overcoming Fear Success Secrets from Adele

As a success speaker, I earnestly study famous and successful people to learn from the best and the brightest. Some things are taught, whereas other things are caught through observation and association. As I combine the competence and confidence of the many geniuses and successful people I study (be it their emotional intelligence, internal personal programming, inner scripts and the way they speak to themselves in various situations I take the impartation of greatness and embed these into my heart and mind to help others I coach and train for greatness).

Overcoming fear is something we all wrestle with a time or two, or quite often repeatedly through various situations of life. Therefore when overcoming fear, it is useful to see how other success people overcome their fears and challenges. Such success secrets of the stars, celebrities and accomplished people of our age are worth listening to.

While working out on a stair-master at LAFitness tonight, I enjoyed Anderson Cooper's interview with Adele on 60 Minutes in which I learned how a famous singer overcomes the fear of failure and the urge to throw up to sing beautifully and shine gracefully on stage. http://www.cbsnews.com/2102-18560_162...

Cooper: The other baffling thing about Adele is that - despite being known for the power of her live concerts - in front of audiences she experiences near crippling stage fright.

Cooper: How does it manifest itself?

Adele: It starts from the minute I wake up. If I know I've got a show, it starts. I mean, I just try and putter around and keep myself busy and stuff like that. And then I got to go down and sit in the chair for a couple hours, have my hair and makeup done.

Adele: But it has gotten worse as I'm becoming more successful. My nerves. Just because there's a bit more pressure and people are expecting a lot more from me.

Cooper: So what's that fear?

Adele: That I'm not going to deliver. I'm not going to deliver. That I'm not going to-- people aren't going to enjoy it. They're-- they're going to-- that I'll ruin their love for my songs by doing them live. I feel sick. I get a bit panicky.

Cooper: Have you ever thrown up?

Adele: Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. A few times.

Cooper: Really?

Adele: Yeah. Projectile. Yeah. 'Cause it just comes (makes noise) it just comes out. It does.

This portion of the interview with Adele I loved, that is her transparency and willingness to share her trials and inner struggles as a successful singer and how she works through them.

Staying busy and occupying one's mind to silence the fear and noisy negativity is a great success strategy we all can implement in our lives as we pursue our passions.

Conflict Resolution Speaker - Imparting Insight and Perspective

Conflict resolution speaker imparting insight and perspective doesn't always come easy. Often I learn more experientially than theoretically, meaning life teaches us far more about conflict resolution than textbooks.

Mr. conflict resolution speaker was out last night driving a few blocks to LA Fitness to work out, when I saw a mother and her small child (a boy approximately 6 years old) crossing a busy entrance into the mall as cars from every direction (and no street lights, lanes or crossing signals to help) scurried to get in (and potentially cut the bicyclists off en route to the other side).

Having been hit myself as a boy when riding my bicycle and trying to cross a busy street when a truck driver made a fast turn and cut me off, knocking me off my bicycle, in this instance Mr. conflict resolution speaker stopped his car (in the lane of traffic prior to my right hand turn to let the lady and her son cross as I rolled the passenger window down and told them to "Go ahead" as I waited).

To my shock, within seconds of the mother and child crossing, another car made a left hand turn coming from the opposite direction and cut me off.

Thankfully we didn't collide and end in an accident. Intending to say something to the driver entering the same parking lot as myself, Mr. conflict resolution speaker followed the driver. :o)

The parking lot was quite full, but I persevered as the driver circled the parking lot numerous times until parking. Mr. conflict resolution speaker then also parked and walked up to the small compact car that had cut me off and knocked on the tinted window behind which the driver was sitting, crossed my arms and patiently waited for the window to be rolled down.

Once the window was rolled down I said, "You realize you cut me off after I left the mother and her boy cross on the bicycle?"

The driver replied, "I was trying to avoid getting hit from behind! I just got my bumper repaired having been hit from behind by crazy drivers just a short while ago."

I responded, "So you're justifying cut me off in order to escape those who are behind you?"

By now the driver (a guy) is getting aggravated and says, "I'm trying to keep my cool and not get into a fight. Stop harassing me or I'll call the police. Besides I had the right away."

"Sir," Mr. conflict resolution speaker says, "I'm not harassing you, nor endeavoring to start a fight. I just want to have a conversation."

Then the guy phones the police on his cell phone. I say, "Please! Ask the police if you had the right of way. Tell them you turned in front of me on Colonial Drive as I was going forward."

The guy replies, "But I didn't know what you were doing. You stopped for a second so I went. I was trying to avoid getting hit from behind."

By now the guy had gotten out of the car and was a giant (like 6'6" and 300 lbs ...a good size belly, but still). He probably could have put a hurting on me... (unless Mr. conflict resolution speaker had swiped his legs out, threw some belly blows, punched him in the testicles, or bit him like Mike Tyson).

Nevertheless Mr. conflict resolution speaker had some strong conviction and courage and kept talking. "Sir, I get it. You don't want to get hit from behind. But I'm just trying to get you to see that you can't worry about, nor control people behind you. If they hit you, that is their fault. You have to focus on what is in front of you."

He nodded his head and agreed, while trying to assure me his intentions were pure (but still wrestling with his male ego, as I too was no doubt).

"Sir, my mom was killed by a drunk driver. I don't like accidents any more than you do."

He then got a bit more gentle and sympathetic, understanding where I was coming from.

"Thanks for listening. God bless you! Have a good night."

I then proceeded to enter the gym.

Sometimes all people (and we ourselves) need is some perspective, additional insight and a willingness to listen to hear where people are coming from.

By doing so we both gain in wisdom, insight, understanding, compassion and learn how to dwell peaceably with one another and work together.

Marketing Coach and Branding Consultant - Marketing Insights

As a marketing coach and branding consultant I'm always honored to be given the opportunity to be heard and wield some influence to help executives, companies and entrepreneurs fulfill their dreams.

For entrepreneurs it's often about the man/woman, message and their market (demographic), which only you know. Yet even this can be a discovery process as you learn these over time as you ultimately attract what you are.

For companies a larger dynamic comes into play with numerous variables and messages that I as a marketing coach and branding consultant account for and address when getting acquainted with a company and strategically formulating the ideal approach to wield maximum results going forward.

Perceptions are not reality, yet for others they are their reality. Thus the way we promote and posture ourselves can determine how we are perceived.

First impressions go a long way and our last impression is lasting. Thus in the minimal amount of time (which is precisely what most consumers give most companies) we must arouse attention, spark interest and captivate their emotions and thoughts so they linger longer and act accordingly.

Images carry weight as people are strapped for time and have little of it. Thus the old adage a picture is worth a thousand words still holds true. But unless your imagery, corporate personality and product/service embody something that sticks, it is unlikely consumers shall connect and return.

LA Fitness Environmental Health Hazards Causing Flu Like Symptoms

Since leaving Planet Fitness because of their use of bezyl methyl and ammonia filled sprays (all of which I believe cause leukemia and cancer), I have been working out at LA Fitness.

I have used two gyms at LA Fitness (2999 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL - aka Baldwin Park and 4550 E. Michigan Street, Orlando, FL.) thus far and both have serious environmental health hazards causing flu like symptoms.

The Colonial LA Fitness has a major mold problem (evident in the air even when it had not rained for many weeks). When I asked the manager how long this has been going on at their LA Fitness she told me "for quite a while" unfortunately.

The mold is easily detected in the air at LA Fitness on Colonial Drive when you walk halfway into the "health" club and approach the free weight area. I suspect it is in the ceiling, but LA Fitness just has their "cleaning" crew spray chemicals to cover and mask the smell temporarily while never dealing with the real problem. Moreover these chemical sprays cause further flu like symptoms as I've heard several gym members and fitness trainers on the floor coughing and clearing their throats after entering the club and remaining inside for a while.

My face now has a bad red rash on the left side as a result of all the chemicals at these "health clubs" where chemicals and solvents that cause neurotoxicity are used - read http://tinyurl.com/7yh2kfm on Solvent Neurotoxicity to learn more.

Whenever I do yoga, as I did today at LA Fitness on E Michigan, the exercise room (enclosed without adequate ventilation) emits a heavy chemical from the floor, either from the floor finish or whatever cleaner(s) are used to polish the floor. Many people of all ages were coughing today after 30 minutes in the yoga class and the instructor thanked me for saying something, because she too noticed the chemical noxious gas in the air hindering deep breathing exercises (as encouraged in yoga).

Inside the locker room at LA Fitness on Colonial Drive I always have to put my t-shirt over my nose it is so heavy with chemicals, sprays and aerosols in the air. I also saw a cleaning guy using bleach (which he admitted he also uses in the sauna's floor - undoubtedly that cannot be health to be breathing in within such a confined enclosed space).

Thankfully the chlorine off-gasing from the pool at LA Fitness (Colonial Drive) is a bit more bearable, but the LA Fitness off Michigan Rd (closer to my home) has such a heavy chlorine off-gasing from the pool it can be smelled the minute you walk into the club and throughout the floor where weights are being lifted (unhealthy for sure).

As for solvent and chemical toxicity, there are several books and links I recommend. First http://tinyurl.com/7yh2kfm addresses:
- methyl
- butyl
- ethyl
- hexanedione
- methylene chloride
- trichloroethylene
- trichloroethane
- white spirit
- solvent mixtures

Including acute, chronic, neurological, behavioral findings along with absorption, distribution, interactions, biotransformation, morphological changes, epidemiological findings and animal experiments.

There is good reason the cleaning guy at LA Fitness on Michigan Rd told me certain cleaners make it difficult for him to breathe and cause allergic reactions.

It's hard to believe benzene, which is a toxic petrochemical taken out of gasoline in the 1970s after having been found to cause cancer and leukemia is now used in "cleaning" supplies used in "health" clubs like LA Fitness and Planet Fitness to make the air "smell" nice and cover mold.

Benzene ironically was even used in soft-drinks a few years ago, until it was found that its derivative benzoic acid when combined with ascorbic acid reverts to its lethal benzene form.

Thus benzene derivatives are potentially deadly and environmental health hazards when mixed with other chemicals. Don't expect cleaning crew (though hard working) to be knowledgeable in toxicology and know what is best for your health club and community.

Consumers must take action because health clubs like LA Fitness and Planet Fitness thus far have not. Perhaps some more complaints to the health department followed by some lawsuits will provoke the needed change desirable to make health clubs truly health for all to use.

Love Coach on Love Languages

Love coach on love languages.

"Love" is a word used all too frequently and casually to express a like of a TV show, favorite food, athletic team, etc. The Greeks have 3 words to express love. Thus "love" has been watered down a bit verbally, but experientially you will know it when you see it, feel it when it's present, and discern when it is not real and is nonexistent. Nevertheless everyone has a different love language, by which they feel and express love. Getting to know your own language and that of others' takes time, interaction and communication.

Love Coach Life Lessons for Meaningful Relationships

My love coach life lessons for the day coach for meaningful relationships to empower you be true to yourself, transcend your limitations and live your dreams!

Happiness is an inside job. When you're emotionally needy, the tendency is to become controlling and manipulating, which drives the one you love away from you. 'Detached' perhaps is not the ideal word choice. Emotionally secure is a better description. In such a state of heart and mind, one doesn't compromise their values, beliefs and convictions to appease and please the one they love. Being inwardly congruent enables one to live with and love themselves first, a foundation from which they can love (but not be manipulated or controlled by) others. This ensures mutual respect in a relationship, which is the glue to any friendship or marriage. Compromising any of the before mentioned and you become an unattractive empty shell.

Pass Gallbladder Stones and Cleanse Your Liver

Learn how to pass gallbladder stones and cleanse your liver. This will revolutionize your health if you follow the guidelines in the books here mentioned. Read my previous post also.

If you are a lazy and undisciplined eater and never intend on becoming a vegan or eating clean, my recommendation is if you don't modify your diet, nor prepare for the cleanse as outlined in Andreas Moritz' book http://tinyurl.com/83gjyvu (see previous post which I detail my experience and advise), then go with the 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (cold pressed/organic) with lemon juice before bed and in the morning ...to remove gallstones as recommended by Prescription for Nutritional Healing book http://tinyurl.com/6s6kytz.

Please photograph any stones you pass and send the pics to me to share anonymously and encourage others to get unclogged (info@paulfdavis.com).

My left nostril has been blocked for years and now is about half-way open to where it works again. I estimate after my next cleanse in 3 weeks it will be even better.

Those who live in the blue zones along the Mediterranean consume a lot of olive oil (and thereby probably have less internal blockages) which explains why they live longer and into the their 100s in some parts.

Love ya!
