Humiliated by Their Men - Ditched, Dumped, Dissed

'Humiliated by Their Men - Ditched, Dumped, Dissed' read the cover of In Touch magazine March 28, 2012 about Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.

Rather than speculate as to what In Touch means by humiliated by their men and the whole being ditched, dumped, dissed ....

I think there is some validity as to women's values (or the lack thereof), which eventually do surface and show themselves in relationships and public.

The Kardashian sisters are not the only women to be humiliated by their men, or ditched, dumped, dissed following bad and self-absorbed behavior.

Guys don't like excessive drama or women who are overly engrossed in themselves, the princess syndrome and having to be the center of attention all of the time.

If you as a woman find you are being ditched, dumped, dissed it most likely relates to your inability to give your man the attention he needs and craves.

Guys have emotions too and a relationship means ladies cannot always be the center of attention.

Ladies who are overly absorbed and consumed with themselves (or the spotlight) eventually get humiliated by them men when guys get fed up with drama and say "No more!" and up and leave (even you are a celebrity, or claim to be).

Insecurity Turned Inside Out - Relational Coach Insights

Turning insecurity inside out is something I enjoy as a relational coach. In my own life having grown up without a mother or any sisters, I sometimes was a bit social dysfunctional and felt somewhat awkward around the opposite sex.

Only after much trial and error in adulthood did I awaken to my own insecurity and knee jerk reactions emotionally, neurologically, and non-verbally when dating or interacting with women.

Turning insecurity inside out and helping people be free and live authentically in their own skin is a personal passion. As a relational coach I prefer to listen, ask questions and learn about people realizing we all come from so many unique backgrounds and life scenarios.

My desire as a relational coach is to celebrate and support you, while making you feel safe. Thereafter gradually as you grow out of insecurity through my empowerment sessions and applying what I teach you daily in relational and interpersonal scenarios, you will eventually and increasingly step into your own and become more secure and assure of yourself.

This is a wonderful process and transformation that occurs over time as we work together.

It's a wonderful journey and experience that we take together.

Drink Responsibly - Drunk Driving Prevention Speaker

When I hear people say "drink responsibly" I rarely think it is possible. To drink responsibly is somewhat of an oxymoron since there truly is nothing responsible about drinking.

Drinking damages your brain and liver. Furthermore drinking slows your metabolism and makes you gain weight (leading to obesity).

As a drunk driving prvention speaker who has been adversely affected by 3 generations of family members who did not drink responsibly, I can talk for days about the ill effects of alcohol.

My mom was killed by an 18 y-o drunk driver, my only sibling, my brother has spent much time in and out of jail for substance abuse and my mother (who gave birth to me) was never around thereafter she unable to drink responsibly and always in a bar getting drunk, in jail for crimes committed under the influence or in a mental ward being examined.

When in 2008, I was hit by a 61 y-o drunk driver, my car was instantly totalled, after which the drunk lady who hit me that Tuesday afternoon, spun my car around, didn't stop (she being really inebriated) and hit my car a 2nd time t-boning and totaling it. Thankfully nobody was in the passenger seat with me in the car.

I later learned that was her 2nd DUI in 2 years, she apparently unable to drink responsibly.

Many people don't know how to deal with emotional pain and therefore resort to the bottle, never a positive or proactive response to emotional pain common to life.

Therefore why be responsible and not drink responsibly, by not drinking at all and dealing with your emotions, feelings, pain, actions and behavior in an appropriate way because after the buzz of alcohol wears off you will still have all those problems to deal with anyhow.

Suicide Prevention Speaker Responding to Bullying

As a suicide prevention speaker responding to bullying is something I'm passionate about. Recently I heard about a local suicide, when a teenager (15 years old) committed suicide after being verbally abused and bullied repeatedly by classmates in school.

One thing I know as a child in 2nd grade who was bullied by 5th graders, is when you stand up to a bully and use your head by involving higher authorities (principals, teachers, fellow classmates, school crossing guards, parents and community leaders) the bully quickly caves and cowers.

Another thing I learned growing up with a very sarcastic stepmother and father is responding to bullying with tact, wisdom and clever comebacks.

Rather than resort immediately to force children need to be taught emotional management, cultivate inner security, identity and how to verbally respond to bullies (both non-verbally, verbally, collaboratively by involving other authorities and physically for self-protection when necessary).

Parent Punches Coach - Violence Prevention Speaker for Social Grace and Effective Communication

When a parent punches coach because he made his daughter run laps, a violence prevention speaker for social grace and effective communication is needed in the community.

As a former high school English teacher to international students coming from afar (and often disenfranchised by the American educational system that through them all into the same English class despite their varied time spent in the country and varying abilities using the English language), I know personally working in a public school can often be a thankless job.

Having traveled to 64 countries as a worldwide motivational speaker, I know other countries and cultures think differently than our own.

Teachers and coaches are respected and honored by parents and students alike in Asia. America is missing the mark. It's time for manners, social grace, integrity, dignity, communication, listening, and honor from the Oval Office, to the chambers of Congress to the families across our country.

Effective communication, mediation, conflict resolution, emotional management, social grace, and many other aspects of human decency and dignity need desperately to be taught and addressed across our morally bankrupt and collapsing country.

As a violence prevention speaker, licensed minister, life coach, former personal fitness trainer, global business consultant and prolific author I bring many facets and levels of experience and expertise to communities and schools when addressing issues boiling deep beneath the surface.

Should you need a violence prevention speaker who gets it, grew up in a home where I too was subjected to and witnessed domestic violence, am the son of a deceased mother (a former drug addict and alcoholic), a professionally trained and educated mediator and much more....don't hesitate to call on me.

Act now before a parent punches coach in your school and hostility and conflict further intensifies.

Lariam Soldier Suicides, Hallucinations, Burning Sensations, Bad Dreams and a Trip to Hell

Lariam soldier suicides are very troubling and disturbing for me personally as a suicide prevention speaker for the U.S. military and humanity globally.

I first learned about Lariam soldier suicides when I visited the Orange County health department in California to receive immunizations and anti-malarial medication prior to traveling to Africa and Asia in the 1990s, the Indian doctor kindly forewarned me about the dangerous side effects of Lariam among U.S. soldiers. The kindhearted doctor (God bless her) also mentioned how Lariam also could cause liver and kidney damage. I therefore opted to use a mosquito net and forego use of malarial medication.

The typhoid medication I paid about $97 for, which was said to be good for two years and prevent me from getting the disease, did not work as I got typhoid (Salmonella) in Thailand from bad seafood. Upon returning to the health department in Orange County when I got home, I asked for a refund for the price paid for the typhoid pill I took. Incidentally, no refund was given and I was told the pill only works 97% of the time.

U.S. soldiers given Lariam (mefloquine), a medicine to prevent malaria, have become extremely ill, some suicidal and four killed their wives under its influence (Kohn). ‘Lariam can cause neuropsychiatric adverse events’ and make you lose your mind (Ibid).

Lariam was readily been prescribed to ‘more than 22 million people worldwide since 1985’ including ‘Peace Corps volunteers, travelers and U.S. soldiers’ since being approved in the U.S. for use in 1989. The anti-malarial however has triggered mental problems, bad dreams, hallucinations, burning sensations and suicidal tendencies, which ‘health experts charge that neither patients nor doctors in the United States are being adequately warned about’ (Benjamin and Olmsted).

Meanwhile U.S. doctors prescribe Lariam ‘1,000 times every day’ (Ibid), evidently clueless about the drug manufacturer Roche’s internal documents that reveal ‘increasing reports of suicides, suicidal behavior and other mental problems among Lariam users’ (Ibid).

Even ‘the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's files contain reports over the past four years alone of 11 suicides, 12 suicide attempts, 41 cases of thinking about suicide and 144 cases of depression among Lariam users’ (Ibid). Moreover ‘a statistical analysis of FDA data, commissioned by UPI, indicates that Lariam users are five times more likely to report having mental problems that could lead to suicide than those taking a different drug -- the antibiotic doxycycline -- also used to prevent malaria’ (Ibid).

Yet for some reason (dare I say for monetary motivations) ‘Lariam remains a drug of choice for the prevention and treatment of malaria by such leading health authorities as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization’ (Ibid).

Ironically, when the CDC declared Lariam its anti-malarial "drug of choice" in March 1990, ‘that fall it recommended doses of Lariam be doubled from once every two weeks to once a week, after the first four weeks of weekly doses’ (Ibid). Since the CDC is supposed to be ‘the guidepost for malaria prevention in the U.S.; other government agencies, private travel clinics and doctors quickly adopted the regimen’ (Ibid).

‘The dose increase was "an astonishing piece of non-evidence-based science," said Dr. Ashley Croft, a British army lieutenant colonel who has done extensive research on Lariam and who said he believes it can cause serious mental problems that increase as doses rise’ (Ibid).

Military Suicides Soar - Startling Data, Unanswered Questions and Reclaiming American Values

Military suicides soar to an all-time high over the past 30 years say a new study from the U.S. Army Public Health Command detailing the affects on soliders since the start of the Iraq War in 2003.

Data as to why military suicides soar from the Army Behavioral Health Integrated Data Environment, show 'a 80% increase in suicides among Army personnel between 2004 and 2008. The rise parallels increasing rates of depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions in soldiers' (Gann).

Published in the journal Injury Prevention detailing possible factors as to why military suicides soar, it is said about 40% of the Army's suicides in 2008 could be associated with the U.S. military escalation in Iraq (Gann).

The larger unanswered question as to why military suicides soar however is what do soldiers in the military find most demoralizing and traumatizing about their role in combat?

Perpaps therein lies the deeper message and takeaway for politicians and generals alike. The military and leadership throughout the country quite possibly have forgotten what they're fighting for, have lost their moral compass and sometimes are played by politicians and the military-industrial-complex as mercenaries to help monetize larger financial aims and ends (sometimes covertly pursued beyond the eyes of most troops on the front lines clearing the way for business in the name of politics, liberation, democracy and statecraft thereafter).

Reclaiming American values and soldiers lives requires us as a nation to do some soul searching and ask ourselves these hard questions and not merely hide behind notions of patriotism and national service, while they in DC who declare and send our troops to war often serve themselves.

As soldier suicides reach an all-time high, perhaps our national leaders should define and make a fresh commitment to American values so soldiers can know exactly what it is they ae fighting for (certainly not post-war contractors' profiteering, the military-industrial-complex and crooked politicians on the Hill in DC doing insider trading).

National service begins at home to our people, citizens and federally employed members whether they are on payroll with the Pentagon, White House, FBI or CIA.

Some time ago General Chiarelli told ABC News concerning the contributory factors leading to soldier suicide were threefold:
1. Money troubles
2. Substance abuse
3. Failed relationships

The most important relationship soldiers have is first with themselves. PTSD is another reason military suicides soar to new levels, because the imagery of hostility and bloodshed on the battlefield haunt and torment many soldiers.

To make peace with themselves, soldiers must take time to revisit their emotions, probe deeper and talk about their feelings and actions.

Paula Dean and Oprah: "Get it good up in there!" To the moon!

I enjoyed watching Paul Dean and Oprah at Paula Dean's pad in Savannah, Georgia. My favorite moment was when Paula Dean and Oprah were enjoying the trampoline and Paula said to the helper strapping Oprah in, snug and secure: "Get it good up in there!"

Paul Dean loves her trampoline and often said, "To the moon!" before being launched by her helpers upward with two attached chords (one on each side) to stabilize her, while providing a joyous experience.

Oprah, Gail and Paula Dean had a marvelous time and like always with Oprah there was some heartfelt, enlightening and inspirational conversations, some tears and insights for the viewers.

My big takeaway was don't quit. Believe in yourself. Keep on keeping on and trying something until you find your niche and it catches on.

Paul lost four houses, but didn't stop believing in herself.

Believe in yourself and dare to live your dreams today!

What Water Should I Drink - Best Water For Your Body

"What water should I drink?" is a common question I hear. The best water for your body is alkaline, since our bodies where born in this state. Today however because of environmental toxins and foul food (cooked, food additives, excessive sugar and salt, food chemicals used during processing, and poor dietary choices as many rarely eat living food) many experience metabolic acidosis, which eats away at their bones and immune system.

Therefore my response to "What water should I drink?: is simply this - the best water for your body is alkaline. http://tinyurl.com/7psp8k7 I recently bought the Chanson miracle filtration system and love it!

There are various options based on your budget, size of house, etc. If you phone the company, tell them Paul Davis referred you and ask for the red carpet treatment.

If you can't afford a system at the moment (although I say, you can't afford not to get one - that is unless you enjoy fluoride, chlorine and other toxins from city tap water in your body and the cost of kidney and gallbladder stones that hinder your bile, blood and oxygen flow ...causing internal damage and suffocation) you can go to a health food store locally and buy alkaline water (something I did, which quickly adds up getting expensive).

Distilled water at the grocery store is the next best thing.
