Brother Helping Brother
Boone reads really well, like ahead of his age, while Wyatt’s reading ability is about average for his age. Sometimes Wyatt gets discouraged, though, because he compares himself to his brother, who seems to have it locked in.
So, every once in a while, Boone encourages Wyatt by helping him with his reading lessons. And he does it in really creative ways.
Today, my wife texted me to say Boone (on his own, unprompted) made an obstacle course for Wyatt, who loves games. Seriously, it doesn’t matter what the game is or what the rules are, he will play it and do his best to win. So, one of the obstacles Boone created: Wyatt had to read three Curious George learning books to Boone.
