Where She Went – Book Review

I was done with ‘If I Stay’, there were about two dozen questions in my mind. I needed closure, which the book had not provided and may be that is one of the reasons why I did not find it great, but liked it due to the different theme and good writing by Gayle Forman.

Where She Went picks up three years after If I Stay.

Mia is gone. She left Adam all alone forever (Which can be justified with how the previous book ended). However, where she went is still a mystery to the reader in the beginni...

If I Stay – Book Review

I’ve seen the mention of this book in so many places, especially in my social media feed. I’ve also noticed another thing and that is the extremity in reviews of readers globally. People either love and worship it or completely hate it (I’m talking about the majority here). However, I’m kind of in the middle of both and I’ll be able to explain why in the review below.

If I Stay has a brilliant concept!

This is the thing I liked the most about the book. Mia, a 17 year old passionate cello play...

Thirteen Reasons Why – Book Review

I came across the name Thirteen Reasons Why on a list of books published on a random website whose link was posted on Facebook by someone in my friend circle. The title was intriguing to me and that is the only reason I went ahead and purchased the book.

It’s one of the most different young adult books I have ever read.

A girl (Hanna Baker) is dead (she committed suicide) and a guy (Clay Jensen) receives a box that contains 7 cassettes containing ThirteenReasons Why she committed suicide. Eac...

A Letter to My Ex

Biggest Mistake of My Life

I was really happy! Love is supposed to do that to you, right? You were my first love and I thought you will be my last. I wanted to take my last breath in your arms, that’s how much I loved you. It’s sad, but I never knew the true meaning of love. How could I? I had just finished schooling. There was a whole other side of the world, I was not familiar with. I just wanted to see you happy and I did all the efforts I could, just to make you happy.

Remember how I bunk...

The Sialkot Saga – Book Review

If you ask me about Ashwin Sanghi, you’ll get a mixed feedback. I have read four of his books namely – The Rozabal Line, The Chanakya’s Chant, The Krishna Key and Private India. I really admire the amount of research he does for his books (especially The Rozabal Line) and I have appreciated the fact in my previous reviews as well. Touted as the Indian Dan Brown, he definitely shows a lot of similarities in the narration, but I really don’t mind is he can present a good story overall.

The Sial...

A Letter to my Family

Sweethearts of My Life

I am taking this opportunity to let you know that I couldn’t have asked for anything more in my life when I met you Saanvi. All the years we spent together, I learned the true meaning of love. It was in the cute dimples on your cheeks, in your dreamy eyes, in our little fights, in all the times you were holding my hand when things were not alright, in your childish demands and in every breath I took with you by my side every day and night. No, I couldn’t have asked for...

City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments #6) – Book Review

Before I begin reviewing City of Heavenly Fire, I would like to give you a little insight about it. If you have been following the series, but somehow, you lost interest in between or you felt that the series was going nowhere after City of Glass, you should continue because this last book is worth everything!

The final showdown awaits you!

The final book leads you straight into the final battle against Sebastian Morgenstern. He is developing his own dark army by transforming shadowhunters th...

City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments #5) – Book Review

If you have been following my reviews of The Mortal Instruments, you must know that I loathed Cassandra Clare’s decision of continuing the series after City of Glass with City of Fallen Angels, because that book simply did not make any sense. It had nothing to offer and everything seemed too much forced into the context. While I had loved the first three installments, I hated the fourth, but the climax gave way to an interesting plot.

The Plot of City of Lost Souls is knit better.

I’m not goi...

New YouTube Channel and EDM Production

Right from the moment I listened to my first EDM track, I started playing with music production software. The hobby was born with Edward Maya’s Stereo Love. It gave way to a certain fondness towards Dance Music. I have grown up listening to Pop Music (Westlife, Backstreet Boys, JLO, Britney, NSync) and a bit of Alternating Rock (Linkin Park), so it was definitely amusing to listen to another genre. The first software I worked on was FL Studio 8 (12 is the latest version); it was long back and...

A Perfect Holiday Escape

I have always taken the holiday escapes to the hill stations around me (Delhi). Fore mostly, I love the mountains for the serenity they offer. It is lovely to escape the noise and rush of the city and spend some peaceful time in a cool weather (even in summer months). However, I do wish visit the Southern India and embrace the picturesque beaches. We (me and friends) have been procrastinating our trip to Goa for quite some time now. First of all, you need a weekend that stretches into the fol...
