Six Things Delhi Metro Travelers Are Proud Of
I travel in Delhi Metro daily. I use it to commute to my office and back home. There are two major reasons for that. First of all, it saves my time and I don’t have to bear the blazing heat. Secondly, and more importantly, it gives me enough time to read.
While commuting, I have come across several awesome people regularly who make you cringe in shock and sometime hate. The interesting fact is that most of these people are educated and indulged in a routine job.
Here are the six things Delhi...

The Girl on the Train – Book Review
I picked up The Girl on the Train because it has been receiving some great reviews from readers all over the world. For some reason, the immense popularity of any book makes me curious and so far, I have not been disappointed. Oh wait, I read Fifty Shades Trilogy. Anyways, I had not read a good mystery-thriller since long and decided to place my bet on it.
The Girl on the Train isRachel, who takes the same commuter train every morning. She clatters down the track, blazes past a stretch of co...

Mistress of Honour – Book Review
Mistress of Honour is the second book by Bhaavna Arora. I liked her first book – ‘The Deliberate Sinner’. It was a pacy read and included several issues women face in their day to day life even in the present world. For some reason, I liked her bold writing style.
When I got a chance to review Mistress of Honour, it was obvious I had to accept it. Fore mostly, I was intrigued by the title and the fact that it was inspired from true army stories literally pulled me towards it.

Scion of Ikshvaku – Book Review
It won’t be wrong to say that Scion of Ikshvaku was the was awaited book of 2015 in India. Amish has literally become a literary pop star among the readers. I still remember when I finished reading The Shiva Trilogy. I was amazed at how beautifully he has penned down the character of Shiva and how cleverly he has portrayed the path of a common man to become a God.
Scion of Ikshvaku is something the whole India was waiting for. Like everybody else, I had preordered too and the happiness on fin...

A Half Baked Love Story – Book Review
I have been reading a lot of Indian authors off lately. Probably because I needed a good break after reading the classics (some of which I did not even like). I have often admired light reads because for me, they are as essential as the bulky literature. You can’t always keep yourself submerged into anyone of them. At least I can’t.
A Half Baked Love Story is another light romance fiction penned down by Anurag Garg and Gunjan Narang. It’s a national best seller which is commendable and one of...

After All This Time – Book Review
I’m a fan of Nikita Singh. I have been reading all her books and with all my heart appreciate what all she has achieved at such a young age. This book is really special for me because this is the first time I actually attended the book launch. I don’t want to force you into reading my experience at the launch right now, but I’ll definitely come to that at the end.
After All This Time is aboutA girl Lavanya, who is habitual of running away from the problems instead of facing them and trying t...

Without You – Book Review
Without you is a teenage romance story penned down beautifully by Preethi Venugopala through her vivid imagination. She is making her debut as a solo author through the book; a fact that you won’t recognize while reading the beautiful and seamless narration.

The Lucky One – Book Review
I love Nicholas Sparks from the moment I finished reading ‘A Walk to Remember’ years ago. Since then, I have been reading Sparks, giving good enough breaks in between so I can enjoy all his books with the same intensity.
The Lucky One was picked by me randomly from the ones that I haven’t read yet. Before I begin with my review, I would love to write here itself that I loved reading it. So if you’re not into reading detailed review, you can simply grab it and enjoy it with a cup of coffee top...

The Catcher in the Rye – Book Review
While I’m not particularly fond of reading the classics, I have enjoyed reading a few. The catcher in the Rye is one of the most popular classics meant for the teenagers with a teenager named Holden Caulfield as the protagonist.
The Plot and the ThemeThe entire plot of The Catcher in the Rye revolves around the protagonist when he decides to go underground in NYC for three days. It explores the temperament of a sixteen year old teenager through the protagonist and the rebellious attitude tha...

Only Love is Real – Book Review
Only Love is Real: A Story of Soulmates was suggested to me by a friend or I might have never heard of Dr. Brian Weiss. As usual, I did not try to read about the book or about the author before purchasing it and stacking it up in my bookshelf. Therefore, whatever I read was from a fresh perspective and without any expectations.
The plotThis is not one of those regular novels. From the beginning itself, it appears to be a journal of Dr. Weiss that has been converted into a story form to facil...
