Ah, Cal and crew make youtube
Someone informed me there was a fan trailer for my books on youtube. I check it out. Rather cool. Very short flashes of quotes from the books, ominous music (and Hell's Bells by AC/DC...gotta love AC/DC), shots of the book covers, shots of a cityscape and monsters frying. Then out of nowhere Dean Winchester appears, slams a clip home in his gun, and moves on. Then more quotes and book covers. I can only think he lost all of his guns and was borrowing one from Cal.
Then once it's done there's anot

Signed Books in Naperville!
Erin, Book Queen, took a detour on a family trip just to get little ole me to sign about a thousand (maybe twenty is closer) books for her bookstore at 123 West Jefferson Avenue, Naperville, Illinois 60540 (630) 355-2665. So, if you want a signed book--and she has all four of them: Nightlife, Moonshine, Madhouse, and Deathwish--that's the place to go. You know, if you live in that area. I'm not saying fly there or anything. No, I'd rather you send that airfare money to me.

Missing Winner
Danielle Hall, one of the winners of a signed Deathwish, hasn't contacted me with her info yet. So if anyone knows her, give her a pinch. I'll wait one more week to be sure and then I'll pick another name out of the hat.

Book Winners and Bromance
First, when waiting a long time to see this movie and have a ways to go, but when Robert Downey Jr says this in reference to his Holmes and Jude Law's Dr. Watson "I think the word bromance is so passé," Downey grinned. "We are two men who happen to be roommates who wrestle a lot and share a bed."

Dear Author/Book Giveaway
A very nice reviewer at the site www.dearauthor.com apparently has been vocal enough of my work to get me a guest blurb on 'first sales'--a feature they do on what authors were doing when they found out about their first sale. It's primarily a romance site, I believe, so I'm a little lost there without my HTOH posse. So if you have a chance, pop over and show the love for the boys. And if you do, your name goes in the hat for a signed Deathwish.
Just don't tell Charles Bronson.

This one is for the artistically inclined. I promised someone I would get a tattoo (groan...I am petrified of needles. Sticking people with them--no problem. Getting stuck with them, not so much fun) for the first book that I ever managed to get on the NYT bestseller. And even though it's extended, my boys came through and therefore they get the glory (and pain) due them. So, I thought I would go for fratres in telis .
It describes the guys and it's from the book (if misspelled in the book, which

IT WAS YOU! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!
Yes, you have done this!

I'm Number Twenty-Six, Bitch! That's right...Deathwish is #26 on the NYT paperback mass market extended bestseller list and it's all thanks to my fans, who I incessantly nagged to spread the word. And you did! YOU DID! Thanks, guys. Thanks so damn much. When my editor Anne called with the news, I laughed, I cried, I jumped up and down, and I considered throwing up. It was an experience. You are the most amazing fans. I'm humbled.
