Book giveaway and A VOTE FOR GOODFELLOW...
Whoops. Update. Pretty pointless to vote for me as I'm not on their list (although they have comment sections to leave a write in vote that won't be counted but will show Goodfellow rocks and that we D-listers don't take this lying down...although Goodfellow would...or standing up...or hanging from a chandelier.) Anyhow, the hell with that noise--since I already posted the contest, you can tell *me* your favorite secondary character and why and I'll still give the books away.
Is a vote for...

Cover of Chimera
First: sadly, no Chris McGrath. I know. I'm pretty frigging hearbroken as well.
Second: the artist, Aleta Rafton (www.aletarafton.com) did a very, very nice job. So I lucked out yet a second time with an artist.
Third: DON'T PANIC. Some of you may be UF readers and UF only. You might not be into Sci Fi. This book is listed as a Sci Fi Thriller and the cover does look very Sci Fi. It's not. It's set now and the only difference is that genetic manipulation is more advanced...but only by the bad ...

Contest. Win something...maybe.
I'm in round 4 of BBB's Fav Paranormal Author of 2009. To vote: right side: http://bit.ly/B5SLS Marjorie Liu, Jeanne Stein, and Kat Richardson are up, too. All very nice people. I think there's a chance if you vote to win a prize of some sort. Prizes are good. We like prizes. Okay, not enough caffeine to function, back to my semi-comatose state.
Best Big Bang...the one with Leonard's mother.
New hero: Nikola Tesla...radio is so much more interesting when combined with homicidal urges and snark...
