Choose your hero: Is he…
1. A tall beast in a gold and blue jacket, who eventually cleans up REALLY well?
2. A dark-haired man-fairy with huge wings (according to the fan at leastart) who is your soulmate in a series of innumerable books (and soon-to-be Hulu series)?
3. A brooding shadowhunter who might turn out to be your parabatai? Or your half-brother, possibly? (But thankfully not, in the end).
4. A gentleman with a cravat and a forbidding expression who has 10000 a year but thinks you (and your four sisters) are beneath him? But turns out to be the dreamiest of all of Austen’s characters.
5. A gorgeous but damaged twenty-year-old boy with an quiver full of arrows with the weight of injustice on his young shoulders, whom you ultimately have to assassinate?

1. Refuse to buy a...
How to buy overhyped books in 5 easy steps:
1. Refuse to buy a book that’s second in a series and you’re not even sure you like the cover (I mean, bees?) although the colors are nice.
2. Go on instagram and see everyone and their mother posting about it. (But not reading it, of course, this is bookstagram after all).
3. Proceed to order it online and wait approximately 5 months for it to arrive. Alternatively, you can wait for it for as long as it takes for you to forget what you ordered, what it looks like and why you thought it was a good idea to buy it in the first place. Either will work.
4. When it arrives, photograph the heart out of it, but attention! On no account must you read it. You may add it to you tbr pile, but only if it’s over 200 books long.
5. Post it on instagram and sit back and relax. The overhyped book has fulfilled its purpose. Right? Wait, what do you mean when will I read it?
For real though, has anyone read #chainofiron ? What did you think? I have yet to read #chainofgold, but I hate waiting for the second book in a series, so I will probably marathon them this weekend. Yay!

How to start your week in 5 simple steps:
1. Wake up.
2. Try to remember what planet you are on.
3. Remember all about the planet, and its people, and say “nope”. Bury your head in the pillow and dream about dragons and swords.
4. Alternatively, get up and don’t get dressed (no one has anywhere to go, right?)
5. Then grab a book and start reading. There, you’ve started your week the right way.
