Nate is finished with Return to Howliday Inn (Bunnicula, #5)
I know the first Howliday Inn tops many readers' Bunnicula faves list, but I'm actually enjoying this more. Maybe we're just on a roll, having read 4 in a row, but this is great. Love Hamlet and Rosebud as names, story lines, and references. What amazes me is just how into the story and mystery my 5 year-old gets. In her words, either Rosebud is really a ghost or someone is playing a really big prank!

Okay, so it's not perfect and there's a ton of flashbacks, but I'm loving this book. I'm actually finding the flashbacks just as interesting, if not more than the present-day timeline. I love how this shows the long-term effects of WWII on science and the human condition.

Always wanted to read this one, and recently picked it up on sale. So far this is classic Jackson.

Listening to the Audio here as part of my Dark Tower reread. I was mostly wanting to read Black House, but it's been so long since I read The Talisman that I think a listen is in order. Frank Muller is hit or miss with me, but so far I really like him on this one. This story rocked me when I was 12, and this is bringing back a ton of memories.

Love Robin's enthusiasm, and the additions after The Wind Through the Keyhole are awesome.

Upon reread, this goes from 3 stars to 5 and is my new favorite DT book. The Wastelands was always my favorite before because it brought back Jake and really built the Mid-World mythology. This expands on all that and really lets us get to know the tower better with super cool glimpses of how there are so many realities and that ending is bodacious. Takes The Wastelands and ups the game considerably.

I always find the beginning of this book irresistible. Meg in the attic during a near-hurricane, wandering downstairs to find Charles Wallace and hot cocoa and sandwiches and a good dog to alleviate the fear. So comforting and fun.

Audiobook. I love Will Patton; he's some serious motivation to take on this entire series. His style really fits James Lee Burke's writing as well.

My son is reading this for school, so I'm gonna give this a reread. Probably been at least 10 years since I last read it. Excited for his class as this should give them quite a bit to think on and talk about.

I will be taking my time with this one, reading a couple stories here or there in between novels. So far we're off to a great start, and I'm trying to hold back jumping forward to the novella.

I'm enjoying this, and Rosario Dawson is a revelation. However, I find it really hard to believe the lack of surveillance cameras on Artemis.
