An engrossing, epic read. I put it up there with Shogun in regards to those two adjectives.

Oh, man, this is getting good!

This is the perfect match for the Twilight Zone viewing binge I've been on lately. Matheson's influence is immense, and the introduction points this out nicely. I think I end up picturing many of these stories in black and white lol

Finally in just the right place and mood for this. Hooked after the prologue as this is reading like typical McDowell as he revisits the natural elements and locations that make his work his own. One of the best authors with a most unique and unmistakable voice.

Awesome start, and my first Audible book on my new Oasis!

Wow, this is blowing me away. Became familiar with Jeff Lemire through his recent Moon Knight series, which was fantastic and a shame the run ended. Took a flyer on this, and couldn't be more pleased. Took a little getting used to, but Nguyen's art is off the charts - unique, stunning, and incredibly well suited to the story line.

Absolutely loving this. A great whodunnit that has been intriguing and spooky as all hell. I’m riveted and dragging this out because I never want it to end.

Michelle McNamara can write like nobody's business. I love the humanity she brings to these events, and also the details included of her own life and reasons for pursuing this project. So well don.

Will Patton is so awesome, and this is a fantastic match for his skills. I love his narration of internal ruminations.
