Finally getting to this one! It’s been on my TBR since it was released. Read the acknowledgments at the end of What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher, and that vaulted this into my rotation. One chapter in, and damn this is good!

This is so good! I didn't realize the short stories had the same main character at different points in life. Really well written and well told stories so far.

Did you know that Michael McDowell read the Misery manuscript and provided suggestions to King? That was one of 2 or 3 revelations in Michael McDowell's essay on King's work.

Had to pick this up for the Stephen Brown piece on Bachman because I recently reread The Dark Half. Both the parallels and lack thereof are too fascinating to resist.
