very slick, easy to read. I don't know what special quality writing like this has that makes it so easy to absorb. It's not overly detailed or fancy but I've read books just as simple that make stupid mistakes or are repetitive and sloppy. Some books flow better than others.

However, they do suspiciously lack style, as if they could be written by anybody. But a solid nondescript house is better than a hovel.
