The haphazard, but very generic, summarizing of journals is getting old now. I might as well have just searched out each naturalists printed journals and read those. There's still no cohesive narrative attempt, no tangents off on interesting things, and a tone I'm not fond of when there are brief tangents. Why am I still reading this?

I wish there was more cohesive narrative to this, instead of just an abundance of summary quoting from the journals/narratives, loosley joined by additional facts and clarifications. It's still quite interesting, but it's not as engaging and exviying as it could be.
