Trying Whispersync for the first time and it is clearly taking the dauntyiness out of this. I keep putting off the Mistborn books due to length and that while I like them I don't love them. MOstly coming down to my usual problems with epic fantasy series.

The second story didn't touch my cold heart, as going back to meet your recently deceased dog is far fetched for me. Liked the outcome for the person though.

Finished the fist chapter and I really didn't like the husband. Hoping that the story around those people will come up again, to give it more meaning.

At the beginning of part 2 and just wondering why this is so popular. Am I missing what is happening? Am I supposed to be blown away by the writing?

Oh no, another flashback to a time when everything was horrible and we just know things are going to be bad.

I just started yesterday and am wondering if I should read the synopsis as I have no clue what this is about. And then after my run today there was a syncing issue and now I have no clue where I was.
Everything not connected to the novel but still not in it's favor.

Fresh up on the previous book (Network Effect). This is relying heavily on what happened there. So it might get confusing in the beginning if you forgot what happened there.

As usual going in blind and at some point realizing this is not a novel. Ah well. Writing has me hooked already.

The cover finally got me to pick it up and read it. So far there are no regrets. Aside from the stupid thing of sarting yet another series. :)

Enjoyed the first chapter, the second suffered from "reading on work nights" and I felt I didn't get into the story at all. Two chapters left, hoping I get over the "finding my way into the writing" every time I pick it up.

I put this aside for now as I honestly have no clue what I am reading.

I may be too tired and stupid to read this now. Enjoying what I got read and understand though.

I wish I could stay home from work and just fly through this. Just as good as I remembered.

relistening as I am in a rut of what to listen to and need some inspiration to deal with the overwhelm of life lately.

5 chapters listened to and after my initial thought was that I was glad I was listening to this and not reading it, as it is a bit slow, I am now wondering what I'm missing as I clearly feel talked down to and seriously not interested in what's going on.

This is fun. I am always here for banter between two love interests. In this case they have had a relationship in the past, not sure what went wrong, but now they are linked together again and have to face assassins and their relationship on the way. So much fun.

Okay, I am utterly bored and giving it one more chance to see if I will finish or DNF.

Part two is a little less captivating for me and not really interested in the new perspectives (pov) so it's slow going at the moment.

Nighttime reading is much better when it is not experimental writing, so currently reading this at night alongside my dayread Only Revolutions.

Okay I started reading the other perspective and things are starting to make more sense. Today I will see how the timeline effects the overall perception and if I finally get an idea of what I am reading.

Hm, this is not as much fun as I hoped. First day of reading I treid to follow one of the format threads and it sounds a lot like a poem, not sure where to place it yet and clearly not enjoying it. Will try another text thread today.

Oh I am enjoying this.

3 hours left and honestly I feel bored. Not sure why as it is well written, well narrated and about an experience I haven't heard before. Still. Mostly bored while listeneing.

I guess I'm just reading these books now solely for the purpose of hanging out with this random group of people. I can't say I'm overly invested or in love with the events, but it has the feeling of uni parties where you meet the same group of people and listen to their plans and projects. Not all parties were fun, but you still went and wanted to know what everyone was up to.

I'm taking more breaks from this than actually reading it. I should just DNF as it doesn't grab my attention as much as I had hoped it would.

This is fun, although I am always a little worried of what stupid thing she'll do next to get herself into trouble.

I have no clue where this is going, but really enjoying the writing.

So everone kept talking about this and when I saw it as part of the audible plus catalog I decided to finally give it a try. And I am so underwhelmed.
