Me sampling to see if I like the writing, don't like the writing but want to know what happens next. So I guess I'm finishing it after all.

This has been on my wish list for a while and two parts in I am in love with the writing and the narration.

The more I read the less I care. Really contemplating DNFing, but not sure if it's the book or me.

Listening to it and it's so hard to put down. 15 chapters in, this is exactly to my liking. Urban fantasy using Korean folklore as the basis of the fantastic elements. Can't wait to see if the enemies become lovers.

Not as fast paced and fly through as I expected. It is slow and full of food and nostalgia. Nothing wrong with that, so taking more time with it than I had planned.

If you had told me in my 20s at Uni that I would voluntarily keep going back to this story, I would've thought you mad.
And yet, I was just feeling like hanging out with the characters again. Trying an audiobook this time.

Slow and steady reading the stories when I can't sleep. They seem to have a lot of similarities, but that's okay.

Really enjoying this but not sure it can fill all of the pages left with what happened so far.

I've been reading short stories at night as I can't focus nor stay awake for longer texts. This is perfect as so many stories can be read in under 5 minutes.

I wish I was in a better mind frame and not always lose focus while reading. This book deserves to sit down with it for hours on end!

2 hours left to go and just love spending time with the characters.

Started listening today and really enjoy the tone of voice.

Very hard to put down, my fvorite kind of book.

I am so easily sidetracked by a beautiful cover. Give things an interesting premise and I ignore all the reading plans I had made.
I love how fast this reads :D

Let's be real, I am not planning to read this fast, just a short story here or there over the next few months.

Enjoyable even though I find myself reading paragraphs over and over again, as I fail to regain the content

This is rather tedious. I don't really see a plot other than a lot of characters with their flaws and prejudices. It reads like a big criticism of the state of things in India back then - nothing wrong with that, just not sure how to fill another 200 pages with that.

Slow but steady. No big events just small everyday moments and reflections on life.

In chapter four and I am getting the feeling I missed my time to read it. At the moment it just doesn't do anything for me. 5 years ago, it might have impressed me more.

I am not to like Lady Caroline and Mrs. Fisher, right? because they really make me angry in their selfish entitlement.

Really enjoying the narration.

This is just enjoyable.

I'm just not enjoying reading this and don't care about anything in it, so putting it aside for now.

This is confusing, I don't know what is happening and who is talking. Hope things will become clear at some point soon. So far it is slow and I feel stupid.

This reads slower than I expected or I have overestimated the time I have to get lost in this.

Went into this blind, more blind than usual, and so far enjoying it, even though I am not entirely sure where we are going.

A few chapters in and it's been a perfect portrait of parents who shouldn't be parents ever.
Enjoying it more than the first book so far, the tone of narration.

TMW you enjoy the book but a character shows up that just slows down your reading because you dislike them so much.
That's me rn. Need to force myself to pick it up and hope the character will go away again.

This is Wiebke-book if ever there was one! Love the writing and the characters.

What does it mean that I am angry at the supidity of the main character who got stuck in the novel in the first place for being angry at the book?
