Struggling to get myself to go to work this morning, this felt like the perfect beginning for my current mood. Also very readable.

Listening to this with breaks after every Part was a very good decision. I feel a lot less fatigue with the book than when I tried to push though it in one go with the others in the series.

feeling in a mood to reread this instead of diving into something new.

Just a few chapters in and it feels like a darker mood is coming. I am planning to read this with a lot of interruptions instead of browsing through it in one go. Let's see if that improves my understanding of events and keeps my interest up through the whole book, instead of just feeling like I want to finish and read something else.

This is just getting better with every volume. So glad I picked this up!

Have I gotten myself into another series of misunderstandings? I got lured in by the word steampunk and the fact I enjoyed The Guardian series by the same author.
Not saying I'm not enjoying it, just predicting the kind of drama I dislike and struggle to get through.

With every story I feel I understand this less and less. Might need to take a break soon to feel less stupid when reading. Also DNFing short stories is much harder than novels. I keep thinking hang in there and finish the story, the reward will come at the end.

oh no, I am getting bored of this. That was not what I signed up for. I wanted to have a fast paced fun adventure and I see manipulation by a character (and clearly by the author towards me) that I am not a fan of in general.

oh, I'm not sure about this. I was excited when my preorder dropped into my library the frist chapter just pulled me back into the world and now a few chapters in I think I am facing something I should have expected and still hate when series do this.

Relistening as intended, one chapter per day, and it does hit differently. Highly recommend doing it that way.

I cannot believe how much I am enjoying the reread and how much more of the world I am noticing I glossed over the first time being fixated on the relationship between the mushroom and the judge.
I wish I knew why the books are not sold anymore. I want the physical books and show them to the world!

This is too complicated for my unfocused mind just now, but I so love it, despite reading the same sentences multiple times until I understand them.

I dreaded picking this up as I wasn't really into book 1. So find me surprised how easy I found myself slipping back into this world that I neither understand not care about fully.

If those two don't get their shit together and finall get over their misunderstanding I will lose it.

*Sadly I'm aware it's only book 4 and so many obstacles are hinted at it's taking away my enjoyment.

I really struggle to find my way into this. I can't connect to the characters or the world.

Listening to it I would like a character list as I get confused with the names easy lately.

Because I hate myself I picked this book up again. This time on audio and the beginning just reminded me of the beautiful writing and how little humans have changed. The observations and actions could just be about today.
Werther just met Lotte, and I am curious to see if I like him more this time around.

This is more slow going than I expected. At some point I looked up if the translator chenged, but then had to come up with the reason of different direction of plot than before.

I finally overcame my anticipation anxiety to pick this up and actually started reading it. Things opened a new directions I don't know where that will go.

Started listening to this on today's run and it is just what I expected and fits perfectly with my 2025 intentions.

What have I gotten myself into. I'm not in love after sampling this but I am involved enough to go on reading. Will I regret this or fly though the series neglecting real life? It seems these are my only modes of reading lately.

Did I get tricked by a shiny cover and a blurb again? It said Aladdin and Murderbot. So far I have an annoying boybot-monkey.
Please don't compare things to Murderbot only because there is a bot construct in it.

This is so much fun and giving me background information on this thing that is the Cosmere I've heard people talk about for years now. Now I need to read more primary works to avoiid spoilers. It is motivating me to read more of the Cosmere books.

Feeling more and more like I picked this up because I thought I should read something by the author and not because I was actually interested in it. Honestly didn't know what this was about. And really don't care.

I realized I'm reading a different translation. Ah well, this is exactly what I was looking for. Really enjoying the worldbuilding and the characters.

Need to take a break a few chapters in as not in the mood for dealing with violent men and shady religous figures just now.

Barely started and already want to have a day to just dive into it.

I am quite glad I decided to go for the audiobook, really enjoyable.
I like the pacing and the worldbuilding and everything. Athough Vivenna is rather annoying with her arrogance and feelings of superiority.

Okay, let's see how this one goes, as I mostly chose it for length than being in the mood for it.
