I feel sorry for the French dragons.

I wish the dragons were more temperamental and dangerous, like the GOT dragons, but ... fun, so far.

This book only serves to confirm the fact that circuses are EVIL! Abusive, horrible.

I find it unlikely that the circus horse wranglers needed a veterinarian to tell them that Silver Star was foundering. Founder is one of those equine illness where the symptoms are well known to any experienced horse person (self included).

Crazy religious people are fucking scary. Crazy can be harmless, but throw in some god bothering and...Yikes!

Things got more interesting when the story took on the flavor of a mystery.

Hermes is okay, but Hades is the actual hottie. He'll probably turn out to be the bad guy, but I likes my bad boys.

Probably because I'm a cold-hearted cynic, but Medusa's endless guilt trip about her petrified victims is getting tedious. Move on. It happened. Big deal.

Medusa claims to have kept up with pop culture and speaks in modern lexicon. So how is it that she can't figure out what "hottie" means, especially in reference to Hermes? Makes. No. Sense.

Started off interesting, but the female protagonist's anachronistic fascination with science-y stuff doesn't make up for a lack of plot. Plus, I'm not a fan of Jane Austen or Regency romances and the like. So...bored.

Reads sort of like mythology-lite, but it definitely has its appeal.
