Ahhhhh, I've been so excited for this. I can't believe it's finally time to pick it up. First of all, the narration of the audiobook is FANTASTIC. Definitely recommend as a format.

Also, I am immediately reminded of Burn Down, Rise Up which I really enjoyed, by how mysterious this is from the get-go. Also, the Ghost Bus local legend in this reminds me of The Echo Game urban legend from BDRU!!! So good!

Finally hearing from Marya. I needed that.
I was beginning to feel she wasn't real.
It was also nice to have Senlin reflect on the early days of their acquaintance. I get it now, his attachment, whereas before it didn't feel quite believable.

I've really enjoyed the character growth in this sequel.

Honestly, this is how you do a duology. Well done by Daud. I'm really looking forward to wrapping this one up tomorrow. It's heading in a predictable direction, I think, but it's what I wanted for a conclusion, so I don't care that it's slight predictable.
