It's so interesting how this author is able to keep increasing the tension strictly using the character's answers to the police questioning. It's really well paced.

I love that this one kid, Nolan, is into cryptids. It's sort of a fun added element that is unusual in this type of story.

I am listening to the audiobook and sort of wish they hadn't modernized this version...
